I think that affirmed intent is what matters. (For the record I define sexual harassment simply as harassment of a sexual nature, nothing more.) Do you have quotas in Australia? In Canada we don't (officially) have quotas for military roles and I can't see them happening anytime soon. That said, this new system seems designed specifically to compliment a quota system where you can discriminate based more on race and gender than on qualifications.

In Canada we also have different standards for combat and non-combat roles. The problem I'm noticing with the new tests however is that they are designed to selectively push people through. My country (Canada) says it's doing a similar thing, and it's lying through its teeth. Irrelevant anyways, the 'standards' should only be an absolute minimum before you're not even considered for the job with the highest scoring people being picked, the problem is that even with restructured standards the scoring mechanism is still slanted.
