20% good advice 40% pseudoscience 40% ranting, people who generalize their personal problems to 50% of the worlds population

I wonder what makes feminists think that these guys were "fake feminists". in Louis CKs case didn't he sexually harass someone?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/18 02:10 AM
1

holy shit this is literal dehumanization of people nobodys asking you to date fat women if you dont want to, but no need to call them farm animals
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/18 01:01 AM
1

True there are some, but I think that that's less than you'd think. Most of the guys I know, even the ones you wouldn't really call Chad, can get a ONS or FWB if they want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/18 12:12 AM
1

Nobody's forcing you into a relationship you don't want. Some dudes like monogamy, some like polyamory.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/18 12:02 AM
1

Usually relationships that start closed but open have some reasons like there's cheating and they try to mend the relationship by opening it so they can say "oh no theyre not cheating, its open now". That doesn't work because the cheating still hurts even if you open the relationship after the cheating already occurred.

Did I ever say the word "you" in my entire post?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/17 12:51 AM

because if they live in my area they're bringing in questionable people and making crime rates higher I like living in low crime
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:43 PM
1

Blame the government for the war on drugs. I do as well. I don't support the war on drugs. But I also think it's really dumb to become a drug dealer just to get pussy, and also when someone becomes a drug dealer they tend to attract all kinds of questionable people and bring up the crime rate. I enjoy living in a low crime rate neighborhood.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:39 PM
1

Why do you care so much about what other people do with their lives? Becoming a drug dealer solely to get pussy would be fucking stupid. Because they're fucking up society when they become a drug dealer to get pussy. One person might not seem like a big deal but when a lot of people does this, the neighborhood becomes unsafe. Crime rates go up.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:36 PM

We have nothing against casual sex, we have something against people who turn themselves into people who aren't positive members of society because they think it will get them laid. Ie the people who think being an asshole or a psychopath will get them laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:29 PM

Some parts of the world suck. Be the change you want to see in the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:25 PM
1

A lot of the top leaders are pretty shitty people that the world would be better off not emulating.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:24 PM
1

But that's why people dislike TRP. They value getting laid over being a productive member of society. There are guys here who are jealous of prison people because they can sleep with druggie women.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:23 PM

Narcissistic people pay more attention to their looks (both men and women) and therefore are more attractive. You don't have to be narcissistic to pay attention to your looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/17 11:22 PM
1

A lot of those people who got to where they are by stepping over others are not someone anyone should want to emulate. Have a bit of self respect.

if someone doesn't bring anything to a marriage then they shouldn't get married?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/17 12:34 AM

yeah that sounds like someone who wants a fwb relationship rather than a committed relationship anyways
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/17 08:14 PM

Hello here
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/17 08:02 PM
1

from what I read it seems like RPers are usually libertarians saying "fuck society who cares if we live in a civilized place or a complete trainwreck anyways" without remembering the things society gives them like safety, support, companionship, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/17 12:05 AM

Is there a reason women wear low-cut shirts OTHER than to accentuate their cleavage? idk and idc Further, is there a reason it's mostly women's shirts that have a low cut shirt? It's a bit of a coincidence, considering women are the ones with breasts on their chest. mens fashions have always been a bit dull imo, there aren't a lot of mens fashion besides tshirt and shorts or boring suit
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 11:42 PM
1

No but I don't see anyone actually caring why women wear low cut shirts. I only see the people who care are those who say "I can harass her freely because they were looking for attention anyways." Nobody else cares why they wear low cut tops.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 11:33 PM
1

Most non criminals dont even know criminals
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 10:58 PM
1

Nobody cares if women wear sexy clothing to show off or not. We just care when they're getting harassed for it, regardless of the reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 10:58 PM
1

From my statistics as well as most movies and TV most of the people who date criminals are either druggies or people from family backgrounds where they didn't have very good role models. Noncriminal women like me don't even know criminals.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:11 PM
1

Same with women who are attracted to known criminals. Do you think that non-criminal women with no issues are going to be attracted to known criminals?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:07 PM
1

There are men attracted to criminal women too. Most of the time criminals attract criminals. Sometimes criminals also attract gullible people who don't know they're criminals or make excuses for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 08:04 PM
2

Like for example, if someone says "Women who wear low-cut shirts are trying to bring attention to their cleavage", that sounds like a reasonable point, right? regardless, it's not an excuse to harass her, so why does it matter at all
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 07:57 PM
1

In my opinion, she has every right to be pissed off. I wouldn't hold it against her. He is damaged goods. His new approach is better for him, but not for her. I disagree. If they are a good match, then she would understand why he's like that. She'd understand that if he had been divorced before, he might be more cautious about proposing, for example. Or maybe he just found out that getting into marriage too early doesn't really jive with his personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:38 PM
1

Maybe she used to be one of those people who would just do something to please her man even if she didn't like it, but she's no longer like that anymore. Just like maybe a guy used to buy his ex a lot of gifts and be clingy and needy, and isn't like that anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:35 PM
1

No offense but it just sounds like you want a yesman
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:27 PM
1

It's playing around.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:25 PM
1

Every relationship is different. What one girl has with her ex is different from what she has with her current partner for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:16 PM
1

High quality is a woman with a set of principles, abides by those principles and isn't a hypocrite. She is honest and honorable and treats people well. She doesn't do things like cheat. A low quality woman is one who backstabs others, acts like a bitch and doesn't treat people right. She may be a hypocrite about her principles and doesn't practice what she preaches. Same with men really.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 05:12 PM
1

No, when they say blue pill they mean a guy who constantly gets pussy whipped, because they believe that believing that the female gender is not inferior = pussy whipped.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/17 04:58 PM
1

For example, don't we all want a big-boned woman with big "child-bearing" hips and a pelvic bone-structure that minimizes the odds of birth-complications? In a long portion of history this was the case. Skinny didn't become popular until recently
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/17 10:48 PM

in the real world, everybody has moments of singleness just like /u/ginsmokelies says for those who are involuntary virgins at 30, or people who perma can't find a date, I'd say the number is low like 5% On the internet it looks higher especially on ppd because ppd is basically a place to discuss these issues so people with these issues flock here
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/17 10:47 PM

People don’t just go from being awesome to one day punching a hole in the wall Yeah they do. Many abusive guys activate on a cycle. They might be really nice and send flowers and everything, then they get violent, then they apologize and say it will never happen again and she believes him, and then he sends her flowers, treats her really nice, and then one day he gets violent again.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:53 PM
1

You need to read up on abusive relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:42 PM
1

it's definitely not "eww gross this date is over. Because it's often not a big enough reason to break up with someone? Anyways as an introverted girl I really just want to have an extrovert friend so they can introduce me to people that I would otherwise be too shy to talk to and let me tag along in parties.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:40 PM
1

If 90% hate you but 10% are all over you it's a winning strategy overall Doesn't this go against the redpill's "appeal to the lowest common denominator" usual advice? For example a lot of redpillers say "It's better to appeal to 75% of women than 25% of women" when I ask them "don't you think it's better to have 25% of women like you for who you really are rather than who you pretend to be"
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:37 PM
1

Here I am waiting for that uh benefit. As according to feminists I am jack full of privilege like I am a 1 percenter of privilege. As I am white, tall came from a basically upper middle class family. And yet I gotten zero benefits from it. You're probably more likely to get hired for a job than someone who's from a less affluent family background, is not white, or a woman in some fields.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:27 PM
1

This is why BP disagrees with redpill. RP comes up with the strawman that BP doesn't like RP because RP tells guys to lift. Well posts like this by redpillers is the reason why BP doesn't like RP, not whatever strawman RPers make out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:13 PM
1

Dude you watch too many movies. Real abusive relationships don't happen like that. You should read up some info on abusive relationships before saying thins like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:11 PM
1

No, I'm seriously asking, I see some people with the pink flair but I'm not sure what it means
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:06 PM
1

My point is that in general the 3rd date is as much as most people are willing to wait nowadays. So someone who wants to wait longer is SOL
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/17 10:04 PM
1

Yeah I don't mind if they're "redpill aware" as long as they don't treat me like shit just because of my gender. I have some rather conservative friends who treat me well and we get along with no problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/17 05:13 AM
1

women aren't really worried about "is he bigger" but about the feelings they share to most women relationship is better than ons for that reason
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/17 05:09 AM
1

what is the pink flair?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/17 05:02 AM
1

If I interacted with him long enough I might notice. Not all redpillers are bad people though, I have some friends who are quite conservative. But they also don't do the "annoying redpiller" behaviors like assuming things are a shit test when she is genuinely asking, or the "agree and amplify" stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/17 04:51 AM

I don't think all RPers are unattractive, but I consider an RPer someone who adheres to RP believes like AWALT or evo psych
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/17 04:46 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/17 04:46 AM

Do you agree that the sexual revolution has created a climate where it's perhaps more difficult to "take it slow?" Yes, but that's just the SMP at work. If there's Stacy out there who's willing to have sex on the 3rd date, then someone who wants to wait for marriage are hard to find. I don't blame the sexual revolution for that, each person is free to make their choice. I wouldn't want to date someone who's only waiting because he has no other choice anyways. I mean this with regard to social st…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:34 PM
1

It's not like they'd fuck you if they weren't "liberated". arranged marriage i guess
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:29 PM
1

I'm one of the girls you describe. The ones who like to take it slow. I support the sexual revolution because women who aren't like me deserve their right to have casual sex without becoming the gossip of town. If someone succumbs to pressure to a friend who says "go home with that cute guy" she should either grow a backbone and say no, or get new friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:26 PM
1

However, it exerts pressure on women to have sex and to appear to be sex-positive, when they might have preferred to take things slower. I agree that the rest of what you say happens to many women, but it's not because of this reason. It's mainly because there are so many more women out there who will put out on the first date or second date, so it's hard for a woman who wants to wait for marriage to find a guy willing to wait anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:24 PM
1

Because it's a destructive behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 08:03 PM
1

We all know at least 1 guy who's unattractive but rich and has a much hotter wife because of it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 06:02 PM
1

It's not really healthy or good to actively seek out known douchebag guys though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:49 PM
1

It doesn't mean RP, its just guys who commonly meet and hook up with girls at parties, or that spin plates in their own way. Nobody has a problem with this except for super religious chastity folks. We have a problem with the misogyny in RP and not everyone who have casual sex is misogynist
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:44 PM
1

There are people who've never hooked up at parties though
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:40 PM
1

They just want the woman to take all the contraception worries so they can just have fun and not have to deal with things like that
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/17 05:05 PM
1

thats not mgtow. thats what we call people who choose to be single. im one of them
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 01:02 AM
1

MGTOW doesn't just make the choice to go their own way they do it by being really bitter if not outright harmful to the people around them (there was one guy on there who was clearly an abuser for example)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:58 AM
1

I mean, most MGTOW guys don't date, that's why they go MGTOW in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:49 AM
1

Okay, go your own way. Really, it's your choice whether you want a relationship or not, and nobody has an issue with what choice you make. There's really no need to announce it to the world either.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:47 AM
1

I'm not saying it was. I'm just saying, if she feels bad about hurting someone's feelings at least she has a conscience.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/17 12:36 AM
1

the fact that they feel bad for hurting someones feelings already puts them above some of the dark triad redpillers who claim that everything is amoral
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 11:28 PM
1

Just like some tests, you have to score a certain percent to be considered TRP
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 10:31 PM

then why do i usually see couples with their looksmatch
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 10:12 PM

lol CEOs are better at hiding it because they have more of an image that has to do with being "prim and proper"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 09:55 PM

This isn't about high art. This is about rich people who know they can get away with anything.

this
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:30 PM

That doesn't mean they have to whip their dick out in front of people without permission. There is a thing called self control.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:30 PM
3

"crimes" like whipping your dick out in front of women who don't even tell you to stop and don't leave the room It's called taking advantage of his wealth and power to get people to be scared of reporting sexual harassment. If there was a social culture where the rich didn't get away with everything, more people would be less afraid to report it or to tell someone who has the key to casting decisions "no"

Anderson is an up and coming director. He's 48. Cruz is a well known actress. She's 43. Aronofsky is an A-list director. He's 48. That's not young. By young we mean millennials, basically younger than 35.

Different time period, different social values.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:15 PM

Then how do you explain the fact that men are more likely to tell their friends "your shirt is ugly" than women? Or that women are more likely to say "it's not you, it's me" when rejecting a guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:12 PM
9

When women reject guys they don't find hot they often say "it's not you it's me" because they don't want to hurt his feelings
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:11 PM
3

It is though, based on psych studies done it shows that many rapists didn't actually like the sex or didn't think it was that special, but that they like the feeling of being in charge.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:09 PM

A lot of redpillers don't get this context
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 07:03 PM

The point was just to say that "women like it" is true despite what we may be told. Women like it when it's done by their husband or boyfriend and there's a mutual understanding that they both enjoy it

TRP is a whole set. It includes all their ideas of gender relations for example. Just having 1 part doesn't make someone TRP. For example cap/firstmate is part of TRP, but someone who's just a tradcon who is in a cap/1stm relationship doesn't make them a trper

Statistically on average men are taller than women. It's not that women don't want to date shorter men, it's that at the average height of a woman (5'3 in america) there are almost no guys that short the women who are with shorter guys are all really tall women like 5'10 or above, which is less than 1% of the population
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 06:33 PM

create a culture that facilitates no shame when you report police should not ask things like "what were you wearing" or "what is your sexual history" when someone reports it
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 06:31 PM

Not you personally, but "you can't fuck a degree" is a red pill/MGTOW quote on PPD whenever they talk about dating an average looking career woman. Many of those same guys also believe women should date average looking STEM guys just because they STEM, so it's a bit of hypocrisy there. I'd personally prefer an average looking STEM guy to a hot frat boy but that's because I value similar interests and values much more than some other people.

I think a bigger concern is about how average looking men who act well can get acting careers easier than average looking women can.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/17 02:11 AM

They're not comparable. A STEM job is worth it for a lot of other reasons like making more money. It's just not a big factor in dating. Redpillers and mgtow themselves say they care more about looks and personal attraction than dating an accomplished career woman.

How much did financial dependence really matter in the past? Could the women not just move back in with her parents instead of suffering the abuse of her partner? They get shamed for that. Actually, as far as I am concerned, anyone could be rejecting anyone for any reason at all or even none stated, it's their right to choose who they associate with. Most girls who aren't in the sorority or queen bee group don't care as much about looking hot as the sorority people. Sorority people spend more than a few hours doing hair makeup everyday. And most of them are still in the have fun phase of their life where they're not trying to get serious. If you want a LTR spending all your time on looks is a bad idea. According to statistics http://www.slate.com/articles/life/moneybox/2015/05/sex_history_calculator_is_your_number_of_sexual_partners_low_average_or.html only 4% of guys age 30 are virgins

Because i've seen the "list an average man and woman" threads and a lot of PPDers posted someone like Emma Watson who is Hollywood average rather than reality average.

I think men are much more flexible on things like a womans income, height, where she lives, even neatness. Women and men have different things they're flexible about. I agree that men are flexible on a woman's job, income, height. I disagree with neatness. He might not care if her room is neat but he definitely cares that she does her hair properly, puts on a neat looking outfit, which all count under neatness. However men are less flexible on things like physical attractiveness.

You know, 80% women are fat and lazy, yet nobody questioned their femininity because of it. 90% of PPD men don't even notice women who are overweight exist. They think average is Hollywood average, the cute, thin, girl next door look.

Tinder average isn't average. The average woman is about 35, divorced once, 27 BMI
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/17 05:22 PM

ppd proves differently PPDers think Hollywood average is average in reality average woman is a divorced woman of about 35+ years old, but PPDers only want to see sorority girls and think sorority girls are average other women don't even make it to the radar.

random dick isn't what women want. that's like saying "even a 2/10 guy can find a gold digger who wants to take his resources" ironically thinking that women actually want a lot of random dick is an example of men being out of touch with what women want

As a girl it is strongly encouraged by society through the media and ads to care about how you look. that's not a good thing, that leads to a lot of eating disorders and unrealistic beauty standards

Nobody's saying that men have an easy sexual life, but that most men can get an fwb once in a while, or a relationship. Relationships aren't perfect but nothing in life is. Nobody needs to be getting laid every night. Sure some people would want it, but it's not realistic for most and it's not necessary. I feel sympathy for people who cannot afford food, but I don't feel sympathy for people who whine they cannot afford filet mignon.

That's a friend move. I - and I'm sure I'm not alone here - can only hope I have friends like that. I don't. If he's a friend who will talk about other people's private lives behind their back, he will talk about mine too. He who gossips to you will gossip about you. It's not my job to police what people want to know/tell their SO in their relationship, and it's not my job to sling shit about people behind their backs.

How do you justify this? My policy is to not get involved in other people's dating issues unless I saw something really bad like cheating or committing a felony. It's not my job to be the police of what they want to or don't want to reveal in their relationship. Wouldn't you want to know about your partner's past (in the parallel universe you cared about it)? Yes unless both he and his wife agree to it. This is just like what people do when they hire a detective on their spouse. It's going to ruin the relationship whether they turn out to be a cheater or not. That's why people only hire a detective when there's a very high risk of actual infidelity. If your friend is hitting on a girl who's too drunk to even stand up properly it's a good idea to tell him to just leave it. We're experiencing it now, or are at the very least certainly transitioning towards that world. Women may not have direct control, but the ones who do act in service to women - not men. If they acted in service to men, "Affirmative Consent" laws wouldn't even be on the table. If women were in control there'd be more women CEOs and politicians who make the laws.

If the lack of or having less empathy makes them potentially dangerous or unable to understand what consent is, then they shouldn't be having sex. But affirmative consent is actually helping them. It makes it socially acceptable for them to ask for consent directly if they can't just get it socially from nonverbal cues.

But yet if you're just meeting them and choosing between them, you would probably still pick the 3 who's a 6 with makeup. Makeup sells so well for a reason.

I would say that "if you're a 6 with makeup and you wear makeup on dates and at places where you're meeting guys you want to potentially date, then you're a 6"

Or if sluts weren't shamed and allowed to sow their wild oats like men are, then monogamous women would also not be afraid that if she slept around in her college years, she'd know that she'd still be able to marry later.

Many of them aren't even happy to court women for a while though, if you read the complaints they have here against traditional courtship behaviors like playing on a date despite wanting a traditional marriage. They just want to sit back and women to come to them.

I think women do not provide sex easily to men because they bear the bulk of the consequences of sex if the man runs off. If sex is easy to get, men would run off like fucking crazy, so women are strongly incentivized against giving it out willy nilly, and that sucks for men. Finally someone gets it!

Valid point, I guess we're different. Yes actually that's my ideal height because i'm short. A 6'1 guy would be too tall next to me, I'd feel weird and short. Honestly it's probably my issue but I feel shitty enough about my height. I don't want to feel any shorter than I already am.

It's probably cultural to some degree. If women are told that sleeping around would make them used goods and therefore unable to marry high quality marriage minded men, then women who want to marry will not sleep around. So the women who sleep around are the ones who aren't too monogamous to begin with. Meanwhile if men are told they can still marry the virgin wife of their dreams after sowing their wild oats, then men - both marriage minded and not will sleep around and therefore sleeping aroun…

It's not about sleeping around leading to lower pair bonding ability, but the fact that women who tend towards monogamy tend to not sleep around. They are told by culture and by older people that if they want to get married, they should remain pure or at least not sleep around too much because it will mean that men not want to marry them. On the other hand many men are culturally told to sow their oats and then marry the one they choose. So even monogamy-tended men might sleep around a bit.

I think most men would not. Those 2 detectives were shitholes who should be fired at best, if not charged for abusing their power as cops (if the sex was consensual, they still took advantage of their position of power), or rapists who should be in jail (if the sex was not consensual) Even if it was consensual there probably is a law against it that could convict them (and hopefully there is).

A well adjusted rep-pill aware male does not hate women. He recognizes them for what they are and acts accordingly. It becomes a bit misogynist when they assume that "what they are" is negative. For example, I talked to a redpiller who says that when he goes on a date he automatically thinks "is she going to be a cunt or a bitch or a gold digger? Better hedge my bets and not give her anything just in case". People who go on dates assuming that it's going to be shitty.

Feminists will insist that this dynamic is unhealthy and creates male entitlement, but women themselves are equally responsible for keeping it alive. Feminism doesn't say that women aren't responsible. Women, just like men, are often products of the culture and behave in ways that are culturally expected. Men are having less sex today than 60 years ago. The men 60 years ago are either married early or hippies in free love communes, so yeah, it's not unexpected. If you accept the fact that women …

Nobody thinks rape is a good thing. Many people think that rape culture = thinks rape is a good thing. Rape culture doesn't = thinks rape is a good thing. Rape culture = rape is seen as something normal. Ie "if you go drunk to a party rape's going to happen"
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/17 03:41 AM

Rape culture is also a culture where rape is excused, like "she was wearing a short skirt and drinking, what did she expect"

And OP provided an example of society actively discouraging rape. consent culture doesn't stop evil rapists (ie the rapists who know what they're doing is rape but still does it) Consent culture is meant to teach those who have no intention of raping but doesn't know what to do in situations where consent is tricky. It should be basic knowledge "if there's no active consent, then don't have sex, or ask directly - even if it's foggy it's better to not get laid than risk becoming a rapist" yet it'…

My answer to this is that 1 singular person giving a lighter sentence doesn't represent a culture, a culture is the response of the society. It's not the first time, the reason why there's so much alarm is because it literally happens all the time. college campuses around the country actively promote a consent culture, not a rape culture. if rape culture didn't exist there would be no need for this A lot of people mistake rape culture to mean "people think rape is a good thing". Rape culture doe…

you're saying in this thread that women shouldn't bother seeing a guy again if he's not willing to pay for a date for a 5 dollar coffee. It's less of "not wanting to pay" and more of "actually going through strategies to avoid forking over 5 dollars for a starbucks coffee" but then you're asking why men are paying for women they don't love why do men date women they think aren't even worth more than a coffee?

/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 09:41 PM

It's about what kind of woman the guy wants. If a guy wants a woman who is more traditional at home, will be a housewife, has a low n-count, then he will need to wait longer because there's a reason why she has a low n-count, and a woman doesn't keep a low n-count by having sex on the first 2 dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 08:48 PM
9

If he's upset about paying $5 for a coffee I honestly don't know why he's dating. If he finds her not even worth a 5 dollar coffee then he really shouldn't date her. I understand if he's upset about a $100 lobster dinner or something, but a $5 coffee?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:52 PM
12

Yeah they should. Those are usually the women with their own careers though.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:51 PM
9

Well, if a guy doesn't find women's accomplishments attractive, and he ends up with a woman who has no money, he's going to be paying. The women who say they don't want men for their money are the women who have their own income.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:50 PM

That happens to hot women too.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:21 PM

I think that both extremes aren't a good choice. The best is to find a guy who can both give and receive. Sharing finances is one part of family in my set of values, so it's important to me that both parties in a marriage are willing to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:20 PM
5

But the question is why is he paying for a woman he doesn't love?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:16 PM
11

Your 1 and 2 contradict each other as the OP pointed out. If you marry a woman who doesn't make money, of course you're paying most of the time. Meanwhile if you married a woman who makes money then you can share the bills. The women who dont need men's money are the women with careers of their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:15 PM

I think she's talking about the RP men who would complain about paying for everything, but yet when asked they say "I don't care how much money she makes".
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/17 07:15 PM
6

Being strong and confident doesn't mean being a violent abuser. The correlation is rather weak and it's not a causal relationship. However, if you marry someone who makes no money, of course you're going to be paying for everything, it's a direct causation.

How is he saying that it's not women's fault? He's saying that bad boys target women of the same level as them (women who have trouble with impulse control) and the fact that bad boys don't get in LTRs means that they have higher n-counts because they have more casual sex than guys with girlfriends or wives.

Because helping others is a gift that keeps giving. If a rich person hords all the wealth, then he keeps all his money to himself and everybody else has no money. I was a former doormat too. I wasn't actively manipulative but I did wish that being nice made me friends, and I often expected to be invited to parties in exchange for helping people out by tutoring them. It's often not the cause, but a symptom of the same cause - someone who wants a partner who's willing to give more than he himself is willing to give. He wants her to wait for him, but he won't wait for her. Going by PPD users, most of those are the same guys who want their wives to accommodate him while he sees every request his wife makes as a shit test.

What's selfish is wanting someone who has a different history than yours, specifically a slut wanting a virgin, specifically a man slut wanting a female virgin. Virgin who specifically wants to date someone promiscuous is usually a red flag too, many times it's because the virgin thinks that promiscuous = down for porn star sex and DTF all the time, and that leads to disappointment when he finds out that promiscuous people aren't DTF 24/7
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 07:21 PM

Why do you all make the argument that virgins are no different than sluts but then go on to say it's hypocrisy if a guy who has slept around wants to marry a virgin? He's basically saying that he wants his partner to wait for him, but he isn't willing to wait for her.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 07:18 PM

That's fine then, you can date someone who shares similar values if you want. You're not the hypocrites that we're talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/17 07:17 PM

As I said, in my 3 above posts, because of a bunch of reasons. 1) Men who slept around and desire a virgin wife usually do it because of a fallacy that he believes in, like that virgins can't tell bad sex or that virgins are more submissive (both of these are not necessarily true). There's not many based in reality reasons to specifically prefer someone who has a different set of sexual values (most people prefer either same values or don't care), and yes, virgins who want an experienced partner…

If he's successful in dating, I wouldn't need to give him much advice besides the normal stuff like avoiding STDs. I'd also say that popularity with women isn't worth compromising values, and to stay away from women who are trouble no matter how hot they are. It's just not worth it in the long run. If he's not successful in dating, I'd tell him what my mom told me when I told her about lookism. Did you read my next paragraph Especially because on PPD there's a big overlap between guys who's slept around saying they want a virgin wife and guys who want their wives to sacrifice a lot (quit their job, stay home - some RPers want them to be a SAHM without marriage, want wife to sacrifice financial security yet they wouldn't marry them because "divorce rape" so they view their own financial security as more important) while they themselves quantify everything they give in their relationship…

They are, others are also free to wonder why they would want someone who are so different from themselves, especially since it's almost always due to a fallacy. Virgins who want experienced partners often have misconceptions like that they would be more down for porn star sex (not always true, some people who have a lot of ONS could actually be quite vanilla), or that they could live vicariously through their partner if they feel like they missed out on sowing their oats (which leads to bitterne…

Because why should you judge someone for their sexual history if you're not dating them and don't have anything to do with them? "You do you" is the motto of the 21st century, as long as you don't harm anyone, do whatever you want to do. But if Sally sleeps around while cheating on her husband she's absolutely a bitch and I don't think anyone would say that's sexist to say.

Slutting about is exactly as selfish as wanting your partner to be a virgin Neither of this is selfish by itself It can be hypocritical and selfish to want to have their cake and eat it too, and hold others to a different standard than they hold themselves. But if they hold others to the same standards they hold themselves then why not? Do you not see the difference between someone who slept with the whole town saying "I want a virgin partner" and someone who saved himself for marriage saying "I…

I'm not saying it doesn't happen at all but generally men oppressed for being men isn't a common occurrence. For example, when I've debated with many people on PPD about the fact that women were oppressed in the middle ages, they would say "men are oppressed too, look at peasants and serfs". They're not oppressed for being men, they're oppressed for being poor (which is a different issue, but also an issue that needs to be fixed).

TRP is pretty vocal about women who aren't in shape or women over 35 not being that much in demand anymore, so don't pretend we're saying otherwise. Well, nobody's telling people who don't want to get married to get married, but if the reason for not wanting to get married is a fear of cheating, picking a good partner and doing serious vetting (get married after 3 years, not 3 months of dating) will reduce chances of cheating significantly.

Because it's normal for people to look at porn and have fantasies. It's not entirely normal to go to a prostitute and may signal a few things like lack of sexual self-control, a dangerous (in terms of potential STDs) lifestyle, also people who visit hookers are often seen as playboys who don't want to settle down into a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/17 07:15 PM

I don't think women have anything against porn or prostitution as long as they're not the one doing it and that their guy is not the one in the porn video or going to a prostitute. The ones who do are mostly religious and against both.

Do you believe they do not benefit from being sex objects or objectified sexually? Most instagram models benefit for the time window of youth. But after she hits the age where she's not going to be an instagram model anymore, and is looking for a serious job, her past as an instagram model and her sexual appeal becomes a negative. Also, what is your take on college girls that objectify themselves to achieve social status or sorority membership or invites to parties ? Kinda lame

So, dear gentlefellows, what is more practical: having a perk that's only actually useful if you're among the small minority of overachievers, or one that's more useful if you're in the huge group of underperformers? I'm not saying it's a good thing, just that it at least has a few more positive effects than being a sex object. I'm not saying that objectification of labor is a good thing for a society, but at least in the current (capitalist) world, it has a chance of helping individuals succeed. (This is an example of when the goals of the individuals are opposed to the goals of the society).Countries where there is pressure to get good grades often have better grades than those that don't like America.

The countries that have the most pressure tend to have the best grades. On the other hand many of the students in those countries have less free time and may often feel like they need to get the A+ to keep their family happy. Sure submissiveness wont help but if you think being a sexually appealing woman won't do wonders for you career you are out of your mind. It will in some ways and also hurt in others. it's a double edged sword. It might help her get promotions to jobs like "assistant" anything, but as a leader many might automatically think she's a bad leader because she looks like "a bimbo". In other words, they might promote her to assistant manager, but they might not want her as the head manager.

Instead of having to participate in a meritocracy (which sucks for the losers) On the other hand if a woman is born ugly she can't do much to fix her standing while if a man is born ugly at least he can become rich, or be charming, or have another few different ways to still be attractive.

How is being a "success object" a bad thing? If anything being a "success object" means that you're encouraged to do well, and nurture traits that help you succeed in your life and your job. Besides, who doesn't want a good job and money? Meanwhile being a sex object is the opposite, since a lot of "sex object traits" aren't actually conductive to success in any job besides maybe prostitution (which isn't a job most women want) and doesn't grant women a better life for themselves.

Even so each guy in that demographic would be different. I don't think every woman like that is conservative or religious. Some people are interested in sex only in LTR and not casual, and many people in college don't want a relationship and potential heartbreak to interfere with their studies. It's not surprising to be a virgin at 25.

Simple. As long as men are more thirsty than women, then men will have to change. If a woman is fine being single until she meets Mr. Perfect, then why would she need to change? If the man is not fine with being single and really needs a woman, then he has to change to get one.

If a woman was desperate for a guy then she needs to change. However men are more thirsty than women while women don't mind being single for a few years. The ones who are more thirsty should adapt. Think about it this way. You have to get to work, your car broke down. You call someone to help you fix it. You need it, they don't, so they can afford to charge more for it.

There are some mature ones but generally most of those are the ones who are trying to get through class and test how their first year in college will be rather than trying to date (if they date it's usually someone they know/been friends with for a while), so most of the ones that are open to dating (especially strangers) are the drama girls. Too much fakeup on all of th…

For those saying there's no such thing as naturals, think of it as being a native speaker of a language vs not being a native speaker of a language. Chances are that no matter how many years the second speaker has been learning the language, there's often just something about his speech that sounds not native.

You are knocking TRP She's redpill herself how is she knocking TRP CMV Native speakers are superior That's basically what she's saying. Native speakers of a language are usually better than those who aren't native at speaking that language. Even if you have a doctor who learns Chinese in college for many years vs a high schooler in China, chances are high that the second one will still sound more native. When you listen to the speak on YouTube, they might write better and have better vocabulary …

They learned from natural environments and didn't need to go to TRP. They may also understand the way women think better than other men do.

Because that's the choice most women face. No it's not, but in that case if the major leaguer is really bitter and negative, I'd pick single.

But think about it this way. If there are more karate white belts than black belts, and 99% of karate white belts create a negative, bitter experience, and are angry all the time, and talk about how much they practitioners of other martial arts are naturally weaker/lesser, and that karate is superior to all other martial arts, do you think anyone would want to take karate long enough to be a black belt?

there aren't a lot of straight men who actively advocate for feminism in the way that the OP is talking about either, there are many men (both straight, gay and bi) who are feminists, but most people advocate for issues that affect them personally more than issues that affect other people. I agree that if a woman wants to communicate/flirt with with a man, it would be good for her to know how men think. Just like if a man wants to communicate/flirt with a woman, he should know how women think. However your whole post seems to reek of some sort of "women's communication is lesser than men's" or "men's communication should be the default type of communication" type of bullshit.

If one “is 28” but “looks 21”.... and another “is 25” but “looks 25”.... then when we pick the first you’ll say “see, you like older women!” Actually, no I won't. I purposely picked several 18-20 year olds who look 18, several 25-35 women who look 18, several 18-20 year olds who look 25-35, and several 25-35 who look 25-35. I'll keep looking at this thread then I'll post the results soon. It's a study about "looks vs age" and what age men say they like vs what they think women of that age actual…

The younger ones you've picked (Selena, Chloe, Sunny? dunno) can't hold a candle to the others. That's your opinion, and it's fine. But objectively they have about an equal number of men who would say they're hot. I think this has more to do with the cute vs sexy thing though, older women are sexy, 18-20 year olds are cute (for the most part, Sunny is 28 now and she's cute). But that's what I mean when I hypothesized that some men who say they like younger women for their looks actually like you…

This isn't a feminism thing, this has literally been happening since the chivalry age. That's why they call women the fairer sex. Guys have been taught that stuff for centuries (not that it's a good thing), but it's up to each individual to learn how to adult and adapt. Women were taught that as long as they were nice they should find a good husband too. Look at the TV shows that say that "as long as you're nice even if you're unattractive it doesn't matter". No, it's like getting hit by a drunk driver while you were walking on the street, following the law on the crosswalk and minding your own business, but you saw the car coming and didn't know he was a drunk driver and thought he would stop because you're a pedestrian on the crosswalk and the law says he should stop. Therein lies your mistake. You are thinking of men like women. Men who look like models aren't going to leave you just because they "could do better." If an attractive man has given you commitment, it means he's thought through this and believes you bring soft skills into the relationship that make you the "it" girl for him. Well my CMV isn't about what would happen in real, but what people think of when they pick their date, and women think this way whether they're right or wrong about men. Btw…

A woman would never reject a guy whom she believes is a 10/10 in favor of a guy who she believes is 6/10 in looks. Just the same way she would not reject a taller man over a shorter man if she genuinely likes tall men and likes look at them. I would. Dating a 10/10 is intimidating and as someone who spends moderate but not insane effort on my look, I don't want to feel pressure to have to spend insane effort on my looks. This shaming behavior only works on men who possess a conscience anyway, you aren't going to prevent a psychopath from not using violence against you if he thinks that that will get him what he wants, a psychopath does not rely on others in any way for their opinion of themselves, no but having a reputation hurts their success so they'll care. Having a reputation for lashing out can make someone not be a good candidate for hiring.

Matching is a sign that our styles have something in common. It's a big part of attraction to me, and also that we have some similar interests (ie someone who wears rockband tshirts vs someone who wears anime tshirts probably have different interests). No but it has something to do with compatibility most of the time. The way you look is the way you present yourself and what you value in yourself. Your clothes, shoes, they're all a statement of who you are. How fit you are is a statement of how much you value fitness. Height is a different issue, it's just weird to have to keep turning my head up to be able to see his face.

Female standards, at least in the US, exclude large portions of the male population as it is (around 80% are automatically eliminated from the possibilities), while male standards follow a normal bell-shaped curve (majority of women are possibilities). I think that to many women the after picture is a turn off. She may like looking at him, but realize that dating him would not be a good idea because he is obviously into fitness, and if she's not similarly into fitness she may feel pressured to keep herself super fit for him, or she may feel like they have not much in common. What a lot of people forget about dating is that dating isn't just about "they're attractive" but "do we go well together"

Nerd communities tend to be welcoming to social outcasts I see more of a dichotomy here. There are the accepting nerd groups, and on the other side there's the "women are invading our straight male spaces! lesbians suck because they're not having sex with me" group. The difference between tumblr and 4chan. As a nerd I've definitely seen both types of nerd groups.

And when that doesn't work, they still blame you for failure. if you can't find a job and you try your best to find one but still can't find a job, you're still not going to have money unless you keep trying harder to find a job how's saying "the job market sucks, you don't need to try anymore" going to help?

Women already approach. One thing incels complain about is that men approach any woman while women only approach guys they like. We basically agree on most of it though, that's what I'm saying by they can't wait for the world to change and for women to all of a sudden approach them, they have to change themselves.

I guess in my circle men approach more than women, but the world is definitely changing so that both genders approach more freely. I'd say that in most places (especially the places that aren't liberal cities) men are still the ones who make the first move though, and I know some women who do too but also a few who don't.

Find a hobby you really enjoy doing, since you like to draw you could do that. Read a few jokebooks and try to guess the punchline before it comes out, that could make your banter more sharp. Watch TV shows and movies. Do any male characters strike you as specially charismatic? What do they do, say, act that make them that way? Read a lot of puns. And there it likely be the mom and not the dad. As it stands now moms do the majority of the child raising and as such I can see kids wanting to be with the mom over the dad for that simply reason. I'm completely for men becoming more involved fathers, and men who are involved fathers should get custody, but they have to actually be involved to get custody.

there are hot women who aren't attracted to criminals too. Women who are attracted to criminals and actually act on that attraction while knowing her partners are criminals have high risk of STD (due to lack of self-control), might have a lot of problems, might be those women the TRP complains about - the fish the condom out of the trash to trap an alpha type of woman.
