That's where morality becomes subjective. IMO, while it's immoral to initiate aggression against anyone, it's even more immoral to initiate it against people you're close to. Arresting a guilty party for initiating aggression against another individual is not initiating aggression against them. It's only when the accused is innocent that an injustice has been done.

Morality is really just a logical way of describing the emotion of empathy. The most fundamental form of empathy is the non-aggression principle, so there is no such thing as morality without it - by definition. That is why it's not flawed to claim that the non-aggression principle is the only objective morality that exists. Prioritizing the greatest good for the greatest number of individuals, in a moral code, implies that some individuals will be sacrificed for the greater good, often times in…

I agree that there are situations where the Golden/Silver Rule becomes subjective, but only when it comes to voluntary interactions. The Golden/Silver Rule is very much universal in the sense that it's objectively immoral to initiate force against another individual (non-voluntary interactions).

I can see how that was a good thing. But I don't think it's needed anymore. Except for example as advice for kids who haven't developed empathy yet. I disagree. In fact, I would go so far as to say that most of our problems in the world are caused by one or more individuals ignoring the Golden/Silver rules. The existence of government itself is a violation of the Golden/Silver rules, and look at what that causes all over the globe: poverty, tyranny, misery, and death. Ok I get that, yes. But rea…

Ok. I don't understand how that is empathy on a fundamental level. Perhaps I don't initiate force because my parents simply told me not to, but I'd need zero empathy for that. The reverse would be true of course. If you do have empathy it follows that you don't initiate force against others. That's true, but it doesn't matter because to all other observers in this universe, you are effectively displaying empathy by not initiating force, regardless of your intentions. If you lack that empathy, yo…

No one said it has to be physical force which I'm assuming is what you're referring to. But in any case it's only advocating revenge against those who've done wrong against you already. If someone is treating you well it tells you to treat them well in return, and if someone is not approaching you at all it tells you not to bother them. "Treat[ing them] with the wrath they deserve" most certainly could be interpreted to mean "initiate physical force". Which is why LaVey's rule of morality is fla…

It's still flawed, because it advocates initiating force against other individuals.

You are demonstrating a gross misunderstanding of what the Golden/Silver Rules actually mean. When taken together, they actually are saying, "Don't initiate force against other individuals." That is empathy at its most fundamental level. Beyond that, treat others as you wish to be treated means exactly that. Your example is one treating others as one doesn't wish to be treated, which is the opposite of the Golden/Silver Rules. It doesn't matter how others treat you in return - you treat them the…

I started a comment thread the other day that proved it to me: http://np.reddit.com/r/TheRedPill/comments/36945n/alpha_widow_story/crby7fz TLDR: My argument was: a) the Golden/Silver Rules represent the only form of objective morality, b) homewrecking is therefore objectively immoral, c) sacrificing morality to homewreck is pedestalizing pussy d) therefore homewrecking is a blue pill beta move. If you're going to be an immoral homewrecker, at least admit it to yourself instead of hamstering away your bad behavior ("She's going to cheat anyway, might as well be with me!") Women who are going to be homewreckers ought to be forced to stoop to as low of a level as possible in order to make it happen. They need to be shamed for their actions, which is what used to happen in our society before feminism took over. No, it's not going to stop female hypergamy, but it puts a check on it. Homewre…

What thick-skulled white knights like you will never understand is that once a wife has made the decision to step out on her husband, she's going to do it, one way or another. Oh fuck off beta fag. This subject has been done to death on this sub and thankfully most of the whining faggots like yourself have been banned. Sexual strategy is amoral. It's not a difficult concept and it's an established part of red pill behaviour. You don't realize how much of a tool you look like right now, do you? That's a bullshit red herring, and you know it. I'm not moralizing sexual strategy, I'm moralizing actions. I'm saying you're being logically inconsistent by a) blaming betas and their wives for employing their sexual strategies when they lead to destruction of a family, and b) saying alphas are not to blame for employing their sexual strategies when they lead to destruction of a family. By your logic, a husband is not at fault for destroying his family when he cheats on his wife/kids with a 22 …

You're position is inconsistent. You're saying that sexual strategy is amoral, but then go onto say that betas and their wives deserve blame for employing their sexual strategies. It takes two to tango. Whether it's from not maintaining frame/family structure, wifing up a whore, or being an AF homewrecker - if you're enabling her bad behavior, then you're part of the problem.

I assume they're talking about slut-shaming, which is really nothing more than people getting up in arms about political incorrectness. "Hating sluts" implies that we want them to disppear. We don't - we love them because we can spin them as plates. They are a fact of life and they're never going away (not that we want them to). We just don't want to be in LTR's with them. In my opinion, the biggest difference is the factors that go into who men choose to cheat with are typically different than the factors that go into who women choose to cheat with. Great analysis. Happened at my school, a young hot blonde teacher in her late 20s (still hot but approaching the wall) fucked one of the guys on the football team. People generally rise to their level of competence. On an individual level, a sufficiently competent (read: intelligent and motivated) man can "advance his education and get a higher-skill job", but on the group level you can't just increase the entire population's supply of educated labor and expect the employment opportunities to magically appear. Wealth is traditionally distributed downward by employment, from employer to employee. If the number of employees needed shrinks due to labor-saving automation, then the individuals at the bottom of the labor pool are effectively kicked out of the labor market. The economy then stumbles, because it depends on the sheer consumption power of the great unwashed in order to sustain itself. So the government redistributes wealth through taxes and the various forms of welfare: Social Security, Medicar…

Overpopulation is not a serious problem; it's just a convenient way to excuse the government wiping out the middle class by destroying the economy so they can't afford to reproduce.

I wrote a detailed response to you, but decided it wasn't worth trying to help you. Keep making excuses for why you're not climbing the ranks. Straw man I'm sure it's because of all of this "theft" that is happening to you. Completely against your will. Because a guy comes to your door with a gun and takes money and property from you on a weekly basis. Actually most of the time they don't have to send a guy with a gun to your door, they just threaten to. They just did it two weeks ago.

Socialism isn't theft. Yes it is. Socialism cannot sustain itself without initiating force against individuals. You're just an idealist when it comes to human social ordering and economics. I could say the same thing about you. The difference is that you support a failed ideology. There will always be people at the top, and they will always exploit those below them. Whether this comes in the form of private industry or government, is irrelevant. The only way to not be subjected to it is to rise …

The article is sensationalist BS. Nowhere did they quote the judge as saying he "let her" snort away her beauty. Here is what was actually said: “Did someone show him the before-and-after photo of Miss Scott?” asked Justice Edward McLaughlin. “I’ve known her since she was 13,” Samber replied. “Maybe familiarity breeds blindness,” the judge said. “She’s deteriorating before your very eyes!”

"the birth rates have been plummeting since the beginning of the recession which is normal but never to this extreme. It's bad because we won't be able to replace our workers, and we won't have enough people supporting the economy." The health of an economy does not depend on the number of people participating in it. So "supporting the economy" is really just code for "supporting Social Security", and on that point she is right. That's because socialism can only sustain itself through theft, and…

There's nothing unrealistic about it. My cousin's girlfriend is that skinny and she's not anorexic and in fact has told me on numerous occasions that she's trying to gain weight. If she hit the gym, she could look like that advert in a month, easily. I'm positive that she would be completely offended that people are outraged over someone who has a body like that. That's called skinny shaming, which is obviously fine. Fat shaming, however, is not to SJWs.

As far as "attractive" goes...where I live you're pretty alpha if you lift for three months and say "no" to a woman twice. Which sounds good but then you realize that the women in your area are also equally as unattractive on average as the men, so your options are more limited. Good looking women are more rare, but when you do find them, you have a much better shot at them. Sort of cancels things out. A few years ago, I dated a Catholic girl (25F) who was easily a 9/10 and wanted to wait until after marriage to have sex. The catch was she'd already banged 14+ guys before that, cheated on her LTRs, etc. The hamster must have been spinning full force for her to expect to ever find any self-respecting guy who would accept having to work so hard to lock down a beaten up pussy that she used to give away for free. Silicon Valley is one area and not a reflection of the entire business world. But it is at the forefront of technological development in the business world, which is my point. They're not just ahead technologically but their mentality is ahead. They are forward thinking people, and that includes abandoning the idea that suits should be worn in interviews no matter what. That's such an outdated mentality. A lot of firms and startups in Silicon Valley actually encourage interview candidates to show up in business casual for the interview. It has happened. India, China and Rome were all under plutocratic, corrupted governments until they collapsed and capitalism 1.0 returned in the form of basic agricultural societies. When did that happen in China and India? Capitalism didn't even begin to come into existence until almost a millennium after the Roman Empire fell. There has never been the simultaneous existence of anarchy and capitalism.

Anarchy wouldn't fix plutocracy. By definition yes it would. "Plutocracy" implies the existence of the state. Besides, the U.S. isn't a plutocracy, it's a statist democracy. The democratic majority is electing politicians who sell themselves out to special interests. Those politicians are just executing the will of the democratic majority. And then you're reset onto capitalism 1.0 again until a new plutocracy grows. That's never happened. Economic collapses have always been used as an excuse to …

Suppose she makes more money than me. Your argument completely falls apart in that situation. But for the sake of argument let's assume the scenario where she is making less than me. Because in an LTR there's an incentive for both partners to be financially stable. If she's making minimum wage and I'm making double that, then she'll end up spending most of her income on rent if we split it 50/50 and she won't have much else to spend on anything. So anytime we want to go out or buy something, guess who's going to have to pay for it because she can't afford to pitch in. Doesn't sound very fair to me.

People should pay the amount that the service (in this case housing) is valued on the market, not an amount based on how much they're making money. Personally I don't think splitting the rent 50/50 is fair unless you both have the same income. It's not a slippery slope argument because they're both past actions that might affect your S/O's decision to stay with you, which is why you owe it to them to be honest and tell the truth. The severity of those actions and the amount of time passed is absolutely irrelevant.

MFF is a threesome, MMF is a gang bang. I never thought about it that way until now but it makes sense. In a MFF, all three are involved with each other. In this case, the female was a central target and the dudes weren't doing anything with each other.

It makes sense from a biological perspective that women have higher standards than men, and thus a lower percentage of men reproduce. They're taking on risk by getting pregnant, so obviously they want to have genetic material that is above average. Men don't need to have higher standards, so they're much more likely to choose to sleep with a bottom 50%er than a woman is.

That markets will self correct to remove discrimination has been disproven time and time again. Markets are far from perfection. Red herring. I don't care what it does to the wage gap, equal pay laws should be abolished. Suppose a situation where two candidates, one male and one female, are equal in skill and are applying for a job. Without equal pay laws, if the employer is sexist against women, then the woman has the freedom to choose her own payrate, so she compete with the man by offering to work for a lower wage. Equal pay laws should be abolished. Without them, if an employer is sexist against women, then the woman can compete with the man by offering to work for a lower wage. If the sexist employer still wants to hire the man anyway, he has to pay him a higher wage. It's a penalty the free market imposes on the employer for being sexist. My choice to not vote doesn't need to have an effect on anyone except myself. The point is that people who don't vote should not be blamed for society's problems. IMO birth control pills are not accessible or cheap enough. I should be able to walk into a store and buy birth control pills for my S/O over the counter. It's also illegal to import drugs and sell them in the U.S., which means there is less competition for domestic drugs, which drives prices up. Obviously I wasn't about to commit to her, because why would I want to be in a LTR with a cheater? I also wasn't going to say no to her, becuase I knew that would mean the end of getting pussy from her (at least for a while). So I just beat around the bush and gave her a vague "let's take it slow and see where this go…

My gut reaction is that in the event that she was still a virgin when she got married (unlikely), she probably was sucking cocks like crazy during those 5 years. IMO of course.

But what does that benefit actually do for me? If a girl I'm seeing wants to fuck another guy, then in my view, I've already lost. I'd honestly rather she just go ahead and do it and cut me loose, than for her to think, "wow I really exercised enormous self control today!" What if a girl is thinking the same thing? ("If a guy I'm seeing wants to fuck another girl, then in my view, I've already lost. I'd honestly rather he just go ahead and do it and cut me loose, than for him to think, 'wow I re…

I think you missed the point, which I believe was OP moreso trying to tell guys that they shouldn't be buying all of their clothes at Wal-Mart.

That's so fucking manipulative I don't know whether I admire it or disdain it. I truly admire it because the more guys who are willing to swallow it = less competition for women that are LTR material.

I just had to be ready for a commited relationship before I could consider dating him. Sounds like code for, "I had to fuck a bunch of alpha cocks first".

Should the law consider it to be rape in your opinion?

It also comes from viewing 1950s media, which was sterilized to be safe for white middle class consumption. It was obviously not like that in reality.

I think conditional consent is a dangerous way to start defining rape. Suppose a man lies about how much money he has so that he can woo a woman into the sack. She consents fully to having sex with him. She could later find out that he lied about how much money he had, therefore her consent is retroactively revoked, therefore she was raped. Point being, that anybody could claim they were raped at any time for literally anything. "Oh, he's not as nice of a guy as I thought he was - I revoke my co…

Suppose a man lies and says he's had a vasectomy, and a woman consents based on that false information, and she gets knocked up. She would have revoked her consent had she known he was fertile. Because the conditions of consent were broken, does that mean he raped her?

I agree that it's not always true, but I think it's generally true. It seems to me that men peak out in their late 20s to early 30s on average, and women peak out in their early to mid 20s on average. Hell, I know a few women who peaked out in their late teens.

Complete horse shit. You're basically saying that women are incapable of controlling their natural urges and therefore we should just do nothing about it. Women are absolutely capable of controlling those urges, and they should be expected to. Civilization evolved because humans figured out how to combat natural selection by using our minds. One of the biggest ways is that through the evolution of bigger brains, we developed a much stronger sense of empathy, and so we were able to come up with t…

He's in to it because he has a cuckold fetish. He also likes banging other chicks and having MFF threesomes. They both told me that jealousy can be hard to cope with at times but they've been doing it for years. They're probably going to slow down with that though because they have a toddler now.

"Why is he not jumping though hoops for the mere chance at pussy?" He has other pussy, that's why. At that point, their competition shit kicks in. I don't care what anyone says, girls are fucking cut-throat competitive when it comes to penis. You're right about that. My friend and his wife have an open marriage, and they've both made it clear that they want me to fuck her. She's 24 and has an above average SMV for sure, but doesn't appeal to my personal taste, so I won't do it. Plus I don't want…

After I graduated college, a girl that I was hanging out with regularly (who was only 19 at the time) would constantly complain to me about how her boyfriend didn't fuck her or want to spend time with her. That conversation led to talking about sex in general, and we started doing stuff with each other. I stopped it because I felt bad about being "that guy" that she was cheating on her partner with, and told her to dump him if she wanted to fuck me. Eventually she did, because he's a loser, and …

What I find interesting is that because there are so many more men than women in China, that women aged 18-24 are in extremely high demand, so they can basically have their pick of men (assuming they're not horribly unattractive). They'd have a much easier time riding the cock carousel than western women because there's more competition for men in the west, but their culture discourages this.

I personally don't see a correlation between crazy sex and sluttiness. One of my ex-girlfriends had been with 25-30 guys before me and she was terrible at giving head, etc. However, my ex-fiancee who'd only been with a few guys before me was great at sucking cock because she had years of practice on me. The kinkiest girl I've ever been with was a virgin who'd never even seen an erect cock in real life before. Point being I don't understand why people think being crazy in bed = slut.

How are they rare cases if I know a lot of people in the field with similar experience as me who have 40 hr weeks with no travel? Are you seriously suggesting that the unemployment rate being one and a half times what it should be has zero effect on the availability of these jobs? If you're an engineer, you should know better than to make reckless claims like that. And just because you have 10 years more work experience than I do doesn't automatically absolve you from having to actually refute m…

3 years really isn't anything in the engineering field when competition is so high. 4 years if you count internships Who am I going to hire, the upstarter who is just out of college, did some internships, doesn't try to set demands. Or the guy that says upfront, "i want to work minimal Overtime with no travel and I want to stay in the San Francisco area". Depends on what the job entails, now doesn't it? You are not experienced enough to make any demands what so ever. If you're not prepared to wo…

(Most) women want to be raped This statement inherently contradicts itself. It's not rape if she wants it. Being raped and being ravished are obviously two different things.

It's at 7% which is what it was in August of 2008. It's pretty much recovered. It's actually 7.4% without seasonally adjusting. The target unemployment rate is 5% or less. That means the unemployment rate is 1.5 times what it should be; totally unacceptable. You're right 50k isn't shit there. So things that are keeping you unemployed (or underemployed which ever applies to you) are all factors within your control. You're 27 years old but expect greater than 50k with no experience, don't want to …

This sounds like a neckbeard wet dream... Sounds like you're projecting. what the hell does demonstrate your superiority even mean? Most girls are turned on by intelligence, that's what it means. While you're at it...what getting laid 85 percent of time mean? It means I only spent 15% of my college career without anyone to fuck on a regular basis.

Part II: What do young, unmarried men lack? Steady jobs. For every 100 never married women between the ages of 25 and 34, there are just 91 employed and never-married men the same age. Where once America had a surplus of working single men, now it has a shortage.* That's because the unemployment rate still hasn't recovered from the recession. I'm 27 years old, have an engineering degree, and I can't find a job that pays me enough and doesn't require an absurd amount of travel or overtime. I don'…

Oh please, Go to your local engineering school, full with young men who are very likely to get high paying stable jobs, ask them how well they're doing with women. Girls clearly don't care much about men's career perspective when they're younger, and I kinda don't blame them. They want attractive men with social skills, not study skills. Bullshit. I went to college for engineering and I was getting laid at least 85% of the time. You'd be surprised how easily intelligence can be used to demonstra…

Immediately. I only use OKCupid to look for LTR's, so I automatically ignore women who don't advertise that they've had less than 14 partners. If she doesn't have her partner count advertised, I automatically assume that she's had more than 14 partners. I had a girlfriend with a partner count that high in the past, and she cheated on me. I'm not trying to end up in another LTR with someone who doesn't commit themselves to LTR's.

A lot of what turns me off to TRP are the gross over-generalizations and blanket statements. "Men" are like this, "women" are like this, when the fact of the matter is that there are always exceptions to those rules.

I assume you're asking about legal marriage, not holy matrimony. The only answer I can think of is a tax break. I'm completely heterosexual, but I wish they'd legalize gay marriage already so that I can marry one of my guy friends and get a tax break.
