You are missing the point. This has little to do with sexual strategy or her ability to care for herself. This dude was engaged to a girl, (presumably) he asked her to marry him and gave his word to marry this girl. He then broke his word because he was getting attention, not because this girl did anything to clearly deserve it (as far as the information given). You might argue she was a "post-wall slut", so it took him 4+ years to figure out what kind of girl she was and regret his proposal? Co…

Xander_DB is on the money. If we reverse the roles and a woman was engaged to a guy, then broke off an engagement after 4 years when she started getting attention from hotter or younger guys (even though she agreed to an engagement), everyone would be declaring AWALT. If this was a casual relationship, that would be one thing, but even if the girl is nothing to write home about, seems like a raw deal. If anything is to be gleaned here along TRP lines, it is that a woman's value decreases as she …

If you want to generically hate on women that is fine, but they are biologically essential to the survival of the human species.

Almost everyone hates being generalized, it is anathema to narcissism and the belief that one is special...but I will admit that women seem to particularly hate it. My favorite is (being tall), sometimes a girl in the group will mention how they like tall guys (shocker), and then someone says, of course you do, all girls like all guys. The pursing of the lips and general agitation that they aren't unique amuses me every time.

If you keep telling someone they are better than you are, be it verbal or non-verbal, eventually they will start to believe it. This is true for both genders.

I wish I could give you some magic bullet for situations like this. Unfortunately I don't have one. I've seen ultimatums, dread game, and even thoughtful things, all fail and succeed in different situations. In this case, I wouldn't pick dread game. My reasoning is that she has somewhere to go to feel appreciated and to vent about what a bad bf you are (doesn't matter if it's true or not). Dread game works best when they don't have an immediate fallback. Since in this case, the OP had her messag…

Obviously she was in the wrong here, but if you wanted to change the situation (and keep her), I think you kind of fucked up. My reasoning: You told this girl to break of all contact with this guy and then told her "You would get back to her", i.e. you're on the fence about being with her. People are nothing if not predictable. From her perspective, she might lose you and she doesn't want to be alone. It makes sense for her to keep talking to this guy then because then she has somewhere to go if…

I do not advocate lying, but if you wish to pull it off, the best example I have seen is in the TV show Sherlock: If order to pull off a lie, his nemesis embeds a lie within multiple truths to make it easier to believe and digest. For example: I have brown hair, blue eyes, and weigh 205 lbs. One of those being a lie.

I'm not really sure I buy this idea. While I agree that your family member was indeed shifting blame on to you, I do not think it was a sense of entitlement. Typically when dealing with women (in general), if they text/call/initiate communication first, then they see this as them doing "half the work" so to speak. They called your first, so it's your job to then be a lively conversationalist. One might also interpret this as meeting them halfway. I was once seeing a girl and she texted me that s…

So after a week she told me I'm not the man she fell in love with. I personally think this is the "hamster" talking. She doesn't feel the same way for you as she once did and so she comes up with a reason to end things.

You are missing an opportunity to be clever. Try: Sending a funny picture of something/yourself covered in dirt with a frowny face If you have the abs, send a pic of your "cut" (side abdominals with view of 6-pack), but wearing low-rise jeans. You want to pique their imagination, not give everything away. When they ask for more, you can tell them they have to earn it.

I pretty much wholly disagree with you. I am 29 years old and the only area that seems to suffer is online (specifically referring to Tinder). My reasoning is that women are given your age off the bat and can use it as an additional screening tool (usually not in your favor). If you meet a women in person, age comes up less frequently and is less of an issue. It isn't as much of a "parameter" so to speak. I have dated several girls 7+ years younger than me who were "upper class white girls with …

What do you guys think of the comment section? Its interesting how (consciously) women don't give a fuck about attracting men. Why do you guys think this is? All this "I wear my makeup for me" is garbage, but it isn't necessarily for attracting men either. Do not underestimate social norms and validation from peers. Women (very often) dress up and "put in their best effort" for other women. Think about it this way, how many girls do you know that change their FB picture a silly amount or just po…

A whole bunch of women are like this (see AWALT) and are extremely boring people, but then again, a lot of people are boring. If you sincerely believe "women have nothing to offer but vagina" then you have not met enough of them yet. I assure you, there are fun and intelligent women out there, but women with both characteristics are not common in my experience.

The short answer is: There isn't something wrong with it by default, but you should proceed with caution. Per the link given by jarredfetus, statistically speaking, people with higher n-counts tend to have more difficulties committing to a relationship. The odds are more "in your favor" so to speak, if you date a less experienced girl.

OK seriously... Half of this whole forum is men posting about how women do things based on "feels" and their blatant hypocrisy. Don't get me wrong, what you assert can and does work, I am not disputing that...but then again, we aren't disputing that women can get away with most of their shit either. If the point of TRP is simply "to win" and fuck the kind of person you become, then people should stop with all the "complaint" threads. This mindset is where anger without any consideration leads...…

This is probably a silly argument. I won't argue that a girl who has slept with fewer people is likely a better choice than a girl who has "slutted it up" all over town (generally speaking). To quote my roommate (who cheated on his last gf), "once a cheater, always a cheater...I would know." My point is simply that a girl with a non-treatable STD is an even greater risk because if the marriage/LTR does not work out, you will have a harder time continuing forward if you have contracted said STD, …

I'd wager you'll find you get a lot less lovin' after you reveal your little gift to any potential sexual partner.

You are missing the point. You care about both, because per the paradigm of this board: "She's not yours, it's just your turn." If either the ONS or your ex-wife has an STD (you presumably don't know about), if you catch it you are kind of fucked should your current arrangement fall apart, no? I suppose, you can just run around spreading it and not giving a fuck, but then you are (as far as I am concerned) scum.

5) Pickup: It’s as simple as finding a girl near you and pointing your camera at her. If you follow a couple of the tricks I mention below, you’ll probably take a great picture of her, then you can approach her, show her the pics, take a couple more shots while she gets shy, and talk. It blurs the line between direct and indirect approaching. Bullshit away, you liked the light on her, you liked how she looked, light negs like you have a nice face (but not a nice body), criticize her fashion choi…

That article is stupid as fuck. I don't know why Rollo even bothered responding to it. The modern man listens to Wu-Tang at least once a week. Chemical engineering is a tough major. I would venture to say it is one of the top 5 hardest and well paying. I think women are more drawn to it because it has a more "human" element, often dealing with the medical side of engineering.

It's interesting, because older women do a similar thing to younger women. When I have dated younger women, the girls my age always give me a look of subtle displeasure. The always describe younger girls (i.e. 19-23) as immature and say they do not know what they want in life. Older women always try to justify that they are a more desirable mate because they are "mature", as if every women somehow magically attains an awesome certificate of wisdom at the age of 25-26....because wisdom is what ev…

There is more to this answer. In my opinion, when women say "there are no good men left", it means they have been wronged by men in their minds. This usually occurs when the woman's perceived value of herself doesn't match up with reality. I.e. a woman who is realistically a 6, but perceives herself as say an 8. She goes after guys who are an 8+ and when this happens the guy won't commit. Men tend to only commit when a girl meets their minimum criteria for an LTR. For most, a girl's ranking typi…

You aren't losing self respect by acknowledging a girl comes from a different culture and thus has different expectations when it comes to dating. This man. Social norms are a huge deal. After some time, if she still doesn't pay for anything, just tell her it bothers you. Just keep in mind, these are just a bunch of dudes on the internet. They have some wisdom to offer, but they aren't always right. Don't fuck up a good thing if it is going well.

Hmm, while I agree even high SMV value women will maximize their potential (so to speak). I still do not know if I buy your rationale here. In my experience, women give shit tests for a couple reasons: (1) She has had bad experiences with men in the past and it trying to protect herself (even if she is going to ignore it later) or (2) She is trying to see if you can differentiate yourself from the pack (commonly called "all the other guys"). Viewing an unknown dubiously is a common human reactio…

If you are playing "tea party", then you play along by the imaginary rules set by the child. Based on this, I would answer how a normal person would answer. For example: Does your member measure at least 6.75 inches in girth? Yes No Let's someone you know asked you this question, you would likely respond with something like: "I don't know, but it seems like it's pretty proportional." I doubt any dude knows this without whipping out a measuring tape, so you'd simply say you don't know then add so…

Authenticity is extremely important to a woman; this is because she understands that her most alluring features are a facade of make-up, and camera angles. She understands lying as a fundamental part of female sexual strategy, so she will assume you are lying as much as she is if your behavior doesn’t match what you look like. This part interests me and I do not know if I buy it. Let us presume for the sake of argument that a girl is extremely attractive with or without makeup, genuinely kind an…

You could look at it that way, or you could look at it through the viewing glass of "women are chilidish and cute". If you don't enter it with a serious intent of getting something out of it, then it becomes just a fun game, akin to you indulging a small child of playing tea party with her.

Honestly, you should have filled it out just to see what happened or better yet, filled it out then sent her one of your own. I'd be curious from a psychological perspective. Do you have any std's? Yes No If you do not have std's are you willing to provide proof that you do not? Yes No This actually makes me really happy to see. People are fucking retarded about STDs today. Simply put, yes. I personally don't strive to be hated or have people be apathetic towards me. However, one is acknowledged as a potential sexual partner and one is not. If you want a girl to think something of you, being considered a "fun" guy is hard to beat.

Others have hinted at this, but here is my explanation: Love is a huge investment (if not the largest) of emotional/mental energy towards a person in a positive way. Hate is a large amount of energy in the same way, but in a negative sense. Apathy is no emotional/mental investment at all or a complete absence of emotion or caring. Hate is easier to swallow because they are still acknowledging that you exist, even if they hate you for whatever reason. Apathy is the same is saying you are nothing.…

The opposite of love is not hate, the opposite of love is apathy. This is 100% correct. This is why people get more upset at unanswered texts than actual nasty messages.

There sounds terrible, but there is truth to it. People don't like to see others more successful than them, generally speaking. It makes them feel shitty about themselves. If everyone else is grabbing beers at 4:00 on Friday instead of working, it makes them feel a lot better about doing it themselves. If everyone is working hard and they are out drinking, they feel less justified.

Despite what the TRP would have you believe. The "rules" here do not hold to every situation 100% of the time. Just like every other train of thought, there are exceptions. That said, I would not ignore many of the lessons here. You will see examples that prove RP theory to a "T", some will be examples of you missing the lessons, others will be actual exceptions. Simply take them as lessons, not irrefutable truths. "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men."

This man is correct. The most important thing when you approach a girl is the mood she is in at that given time. If you don't stand out in a negative way, you can absolutely get her the 2nd, or even 3rd time around.

Some of these are excellent examples of red flags, while some of these are ridiculous. I suppose everyone has their own version of "the list". Tinder is like anything else. Some people on Tinder are genuinely good people, while many are disasters. People tend to show you the "lesser" side of themselves when using any sort of electronic interface, because they are looking at a screen or a picture instead of a real person.

Like I said, it's up to you. I know we like to jerk off to the fact that men are better than women here, but there is no data to back up your "often single fathers make much better parents than single mothers." statement other than anecdotal evidence. In fact most research suggests there isn't really a difference: http://researchnews.osu.edu/archive/singpar.htm. I doubt being "alpha as fuck" is a criterion in most studies though.

Don't ever care why they respond the way they do, case and point, she didn't even remember it 4 days later. The answer is: If you want children. If you want to have children, it is economically beneficial for you to be married. It gives you a variety of tax-based incentives and it can be good for your career. Why do you think presidents always want their wives showing up to support them at debates, speeches, etc.? The idea that ALL women want to fuck the most men possible is garbage. That said, she hid your relationship from her friends and is now with someone else.
