I see this in the ER of the hospital I work in. It use to be somewhat rare to see young ppl seeking care in the ER for suicidal ideation or MHP issues. We see it daily now. And on top of that, they’re in the ER for days at a time sometimes bc their is nowhere for them to go.

Coworker took a trip to S.Vietnam in 2018. The first shock she had to suppress were the dogs stacked up in cages on the streets. Dog meat is on the menu, it’s part of the culture and something westerners aren’t typically accustomed to whatsoever. The next shock was seeing 13, 14, 15yr olds pregnant and carrying toddlers with them giving tour guides. Their husbands were adult men who picked them out and claimed them as their wife. It’s a very normalized part of their culture. The men simply said …

Do you feel that weapons (specifically guns) level the playing field and take physical strength out of the equation? In the same sense that people can kill a lion or bear or other large animal with a weapon but in a fight without weapons, the human would lose.

If biologically born XY people were the ones that got pregnant, I wonder how things would be different. In a hypothetical reversal, if only women had ever served as POTUS in the United States, would men be in protest currently about sexism and discrimination? They aren’t in protest now because they’re not the sex that’s never graced the Oval Office in the history of the United States.

The rate of suicide is highest in middle aged white men. People in the age bracket of 75-84 yrs old had close to the highest rates of suicide in 2020. I’m not conflating all mass shootings with incel violence any more than your post conflates inner city violence in Chicago with incel violence on the basis of scale. I’m citing that incel violence is a new type of violence in the same vein as high school shootings were merely 23 years ago…and as high school violence has steadily risen, we need to seriously look at the rise of incel violence as well. If the secret service considers it dire enough to profile and track, it’s pretty serious.

u/tired_hillbilly I never conflated all mass shootings with incel violence. Please point to the part of my post where I did that. I have also not discussed the violence in inner city Chicago. My post are in response to OP’s post, which isn’t discussing inner city violence….does that make sense? Apologies for the confusion.

In April 1999, just 23 years ago the US was shocked by the Columbine High School massacre. It was considered a new type of violence, something American society hadn’t really seen before. Since then, more than 320,000 students have experienced gun violence at school. https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2018/local/school-shootings-database/ Right now, more than 53 people have died and hundreds have been injured related to the rise of incel violence. https://www.mccaininstitute.org/wp-content/u…

Wow. So your counter argument is that your local convenience store sells a corporate made product designed to give women the pleasure that men fail to provide? I’m glad you mention this. Yes it’s true. A piece of plastic sold alongside hotdogs and slurpees, commonly found amongst chewing gum and lotto tickets is being produced and sold to help women achieve the clitoral pleasure she fails to get from men. The general consensus online and IRL from men is that they want sex more often then they have it. Shockingly; you would think that this would incentivize most men to want to learn how to become the best lovers they can be….but they’re often not even close in regards to giving pleasure as they are to receiving it, and women are known to fake their pleasure as men are very sensitive to their (underwhelming) performance feedback. Men don’t get it. If men genuinely tried hard to learn how to please …

The ones that procreated didn’t hunt? That doesn’t make sense. If they procreated, they definitely hunted and fought off predators to protect and feed their group. Where did those traits vanish to? It seems like the ones who didn’t procreate and couldn’t hunt would of died off, leaving no children or ancestry. Yet here we are, with large swaths of men from multiple nations and from all ages, whose only lasting vestige from their ancestors is massive desire to breed (per men).
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/22 07:31 AM

I have serious doubts about the argument that men have high N counts due to wanting to spread their seed. I could debate this topic all day. What happened to the warrior gene? Or the desire to hunt? How many men can build a fire without a lighter? Are men really saying that the only evolutionary trait that survived (in all of them, young men and old men) is the desire to spread their seed with wide hip women? All the other traits died off?

I’m not sure marriage should necessarily be a part of western society anymore. Marriage is not a guarantee of anything; monogamy, happiness, lifelong commitment and companionship, security, stability for raising children. It might be lingering in western society because of tradition and cultural norm. There are other cultures and societies in which marriages are serving other purposes outside of “we love each other let’s get married.” Some societies view and utilize marriage for tying together f…

As a woman, you find this whole topic “super funny?” Wow, well ok u/mcove97 The point you bring up is very polarized. In the United States, there existed a time in which spousal consent was required if a woman wanted to have an abortion, and the reasons could vary such as high risk pregnancy, financial security, previous still births, etc. I don’t know where “deadbeat” mom ranks in those cases…but I’m sure they exist. The hostile environment is the end result of the patriarch though; hence the wars. Men have not cornered the market in suffering. That’s just an opinion, and because we cannot point out any society in which systemic misandry exist, we have one side to draw data from and it’s skewed by and for men. And if at base we’re “animals”, why the confusion about rejection? Most males in the animal kingdom have to earn the right to pass on their genes. You’re thanking me for strengthening your point: men are abusive on a national level as well as a global one. We’ve now created a monster we can’t contain, so we will do what we’ve always done; punish women and take it out on them. Got it.

Just a reminder. Men hold the majority of positions of power throughout the world, hands down. We live in a patriarch. Women can’t change what we have no control over. Whatever has been built; has been built by men. I hope to see that radically change within my life time. I’m not holding my breath.

Are you a father? And if you are, do you have a daughter? Just curious. Certain men here who seem to be edging towards a certain kind of society…should know their daughters or future daughters will have to live within what’s built. Men: we want to return to a monogamous way of life Ok then start pressuring other men to marry women whom they impregnated. Place the same pressure on men that their grandfathers felt to marry and provide for a woman instead of just wanting casual sex and then walking away; or begging women to let you use their bodies to pop your man cherries. That isn’t an issue exclusive to men. Many women who don’t consider themselves to be able to meet standards of beauty often also feel isolated, lonely, and unable to secure romantic or sexual connection despite being great people who are emotionally financially and mentally healthy. They also can’t control aspects of their appearance as well. Many of these women though are not nearly as vocal about this, and most do not end up in the news for becoming violent or threatening violence. I think the…

I’m never going to NOT endorse women setting and maintaining high standards though, why would I when it’s not beneficial for women to set the bar low? Women statistically are at greater risk of being victims of domestic violence, we can become pregnant (as we watch our choices get stripped away), we’re statistically single parents at much higher numbers than men, and the onus of STD prevention and pregnancy prevention is socially burdened upon us to a much greater degree than it is on men. Appreciate the link. It shows nations where there are more women than men. Is that intentional (like preferences in China) or incidental? I was posting a link along the lines of nations that have policies/had policies or customs in place that specifically favored the birth of sons over daughters. My intent was to poke a hole in OPs argument that the ratio issue he’s speaking of isn’t something women are specifically controlling; there can be no blame where we have no control.

I always tell men who can’t successfully date women to be better. That’s my equivalent advice. Pretty sure my motivation in saying that is bc if men are single and don’t want to be, it’s often bc they can be better.

Women are constantly told we need to choose better. So we are. But men don’t like that irl. Lol Of course we want strong healthy physically fit clean hygienic attractive men who are financially emotionally and mentally stable. That is choosing better. If women can’t get that, it’s preferable to be single.

What women are you encountering yourself, what company are you keeping that you come across all of these women voluntarily entering into sex posi BS? You’re generalizing the F out of women yourself so don’t pretend to be some enlightened guy who’s spreading some false epiphany online. You’re hazed and I’m not interested.

Men have hard earned their current reputation as trash bc they objectify women so blatantly; it’s actually very hard pressed to find men who don’t suffer from porn addiction, chronic unemployment, poor hygiene, untreated mental health issues, and issues with anger and violence; which is sadly resulting in a massive uprise in actual violence, flooding headline news here and globally. This isn’t women ranting. These are hard truths about the majority of modern men. You can live in your bubble of d…

We don’t exist to fulfill the role of “sex” for men. Where’d you get that idea from? Having sex with men isn’t the centerpiece of a woman’s life. We don’t raise women to go out into the world to have sex with men as a life goal. When men say shit like this; they’re 100% projecting their own personal laments onto women as a whole. It’s no wonder women are so fed up.

Men as a whole cannot simultaneously slap the “you should have chosen better” onto women who express any negative view about their experiences with men, while also consistently complaining about the imaginary villain they invented (Chad) who gets all the hot women, while ALSO bitching about constant rejection. They’re not present during sex. They don’t look at you during sex. They don’t touch certain parts of your body during sex. Sex feels like an act where you’re present, but not really a part of it. Why are so many men (are they really men tho?) worried about getting used for a free dinner? Fine then, don’t invite us out on dates, we don’t really GAF. They’re worried about being used for a “free” dinner as if that’s on the same level as women being concerned about men trying to use us for just sex. And; you know they’re attaching an invisible price tag to that “free dinner.” It’s costing you time energy and effort, nothing is free about it.

How come a FWB is always about a friendship with sex sprinkled in? Most women aren’t even getting anything out of it if we’re being honest…sex is a subpar experience for most women (otherwise women would love it more) and that’s just facts. It’s a new label on an old game. That’s the just of it. No doubt someone here on FDS will give you a specific explanation…but that’s about what it amounts to. It’s men lusting after other women, while ignoring the one they’ve got.

I hear so many of you say that you’re against women being one to one friends with straight men, and I agree. But I don’t hear the same caution being applied for women who befriend gay men. Sure, with gay men you don’t run the risk of anything becoming sexual/romantic…but gay men are still men and that will always color the friendship. It’s not unheard of at all for gay men to refer to their female friends as “fruit flies”…and that’s one of the friendlier terms. Best to take your friendships with…

Men as a whole seem to “feminize” all of the methods and routes to leveling up in their own lives, thereby dismissing these methods to change. Their extremely fragile egos have caused them to label therapy and mental health wellness, etc as feminine techniques so they reject it, as to not appear emasculated. And men don’t reach out in general to other men for emotional/mental support, they still rely on women as emotional therapist instead of seeking professional guidance. Women are wising up to…

I can’t feel bad for men who’ve suffered the consequences of their actions. For one, they don’t feel bad for us. Instead of empathy from men we get anger and violence. Also, men can level up and change if they wanted to. I see women doing it. They can too. Trying to help men ends up in bitter resentment. Men can and will change when/if they want to. Period.

You would not believe how much I’ve seen this type of behavior on display in my profession. It’s mind boggling. Old men wired in with a lifetime of harassment under their belts, having lived through decades of time in which women were silent on having their ass grabbed, being called honey or sugar or sweetheart despite having more brains than the fools downplaying them… Deathbed calling and they are telling on themselves talking about all their sexcapades like it’s normal.

Hard to tell from her post whether or not actual malice was intended…from him towards her. I absolutely agree with your POV. Lots of us are independent and enjoy doing our own thing. We will dump quick if we’re not treated well. OP’s post caption just feels like a “beck and call” situation. Go with the flow cool girl trope so you never come off as too needy, too clingy, etc. The hmu if you need anything, still here in the background for you at the drop of a hat…. It’s almost getting cliché to give that impression these days and it’s coming off as pick me.

Agreed. She’s conditioned to believe that having boundaries that don’t violate her self respect and integrity are outside of the norm. Imagine believing that having a relationship requires giving up who you are as a person. This saddens me more than anything. Poor girl.

Educated chumps in the world of academia love to sit around, legs crossed rubbing their chins…filling the air with cigar smoke sipping on brandy Ah yes…..my seed this and my genes that…. Meanwhile the following morning, they see a woman get shoved off a curb or punched in the face on the morning commute.. No instinct kicks in, in Mr.Academias ass…He doesn’t feel emboldened by those same genes he drivels on about endlessly to protect that innocent women. These men are LYING! There’s just one gene…

They only want to converse about spreading their seed, not raising and providing for the actual offspring that arise from said activity. And yes; you raise another good point. Tons of research has been poured into this subject that would redefine and reframe the entire topic.

Exactly. 🤬 What happened to the deep provider/protecter instinct? Why aren’t more men driven and highly compelled to execute that biological urge. No? Guess evolution has watered down all of their biological drives except the only ONE they (erroneously) quote and know of; when it comes to “spreading their seed”🤢 and mating/attracting with females. Don’t see many men defending women in public, rushing to help them when they get assaulted, harassed, mistreated. (Protector instinct; apparently it d…

I see your point. I have a strong knee jerk reaction to any hint of the M/H complex (slippery) slope; I’m so thoroughly sick of it in relationships that I react too quickly. I guess her broader message is to avoid dating narcs. They can’t cherish; they can only lovebomb from superficial desire (idealize, devalue, discard).
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/12/21 06:13 PM

I’m not arguing the essence of her point; it’s valid and I agree. But I counter that the general and common dichotomy between being cherished and desired as a woman should cease to exist. Can’t a woman have both intertwined coming from the same man? Why can’t a man both cherish and desire the same woman? Sick of the split.

I think this post is just so downright excellent. It hits on a strategy that I personally have never really considered or thought of. Using this strategy wisely and carefully could absolutely help women during dating to discover if even the most superficially seeming nice guy was actually LV after all. Hearing firsthand how quickly or easily a man gauges other women (especially if it’s negative); and if it’s not about a physical attribute could be so telling about their overall view of women in …

Young girls need to be super careful if they drink or use drugs!!! They can wind up in situations that are super dangerous. Even relying on their friends to look out for them is a big risk. Better to abstain but if that’s not practical, please tell a trusted adult where you’re going and what you’re planning on doing!

Things I wish you could say: Wow, you could literally be my father. Whoa, I was an infant when you were a 24yr old man. Weird huh? As an older man, is it true you need viagra? Do you do this often…as in inappropriately confess your feelings to women far younger than you? What does your wife think of this? Edit: How backwards in society are we, that OP now bears the burden of how to handle this totally inappropriate situation; so SHE doesn’t face any consequences……seriously.

You KNOW in your gut that he isn’t a HVM. I know that you know; it will just be clearer for you personally in hindsight. Don’t wait for that hindsight clarity sis. What you’re experiencing is a personal blind spot; your rationale and gut instinct are being hazed by your emotions…..aka a blind spot You are not too deep into this. The time to leave is NOW.

ANY attention is ATTENTION to these chumps. A clap back IMO is some of your energy being used to give them something they want and need. I’d like to add; the threat of rape and violence is real and commonplace. If men could easily rape and batter without consequence, they absolutely would. This is another strong reason to block/delete/ignore.

Women are in only one of two categories in the minds of LV/NV men: You’re either a Madonna or a whore. That’s it. This guy had decided (in advance, based on her profile) she was a whore; took her out on one date, and is aghast that she isn’t ripping her clothes off for him. Edit: For those new to the Madonna/whore concept: If you’re the Madonna, you can be loved but you won’t be desired. If you’re the whore, you’ll be desired but never loved. Nearly ALL men see ALL women as one or the other. Rem…

Another case of your standard community penis boy outing himself on Reddit. They call it pump and dump; he put his time in with those first magical three dates. 🙄 It was probably more like inflate, pump and dump. Cuz you all know most of them have ED and are getting penis implant pumps 😂😂😂

My own hypothesis is that the majority of guys are so enamored with their dicks and the dicks of their bros; hell they’ve been whipping their dicks out since they were little, comparing and sizing themselves up amongst themselves since they could walk…. And past all of that, they don’t see women as whole complete separate people,..we’re an extension of men not entirely separate. So as their extension (in their mind), they can’t comprehend why we aren’t as enamored with their dicks like they are.…

The loneliness you’re feeling will wax and wane… But every day you’re not putting up with the agony, trauma, and disappointment of an empty relationship with a LVM, will 10/10 beat any loneliness you might experience on any given day. Just gotta keep reminding yourself of that. Your loneliest days without a companion are superior to a single moment wasted with a scrote.

Translation: Shit went badly in my last relationship (who knows why). After 3 full years, I’ve made no personal progress in working on myself. Agree with everything except for the fact that I’d never want to have to put tons of mental and emotional energy into keeping a friend and my husband away from each other. Thoughts would creep in. Lived that life. It’s draining. In my head, that signifies that deep down, if that so called friend and husband are around each other, there’s some kind of potential for betrayal. So the marriage and the friendship then are ultimately an egg shell dance. F that life. Don’t want friends like that, nor a…

Pickmes get NOTHING for it either. It doesn’t make sense at all to cater to the logic of misogynistic men. Ultimately I believe being a pickme comes down to the deeply held belief that women are somehow not equal to men. Pickmes therefore give up their reference of authority, autonomy, and will to men in the hopes of gaining approval, recognition, love, and respect. It’s sadly similar to children raised by an abusive parent, who continue to look to their abuser repeatedly for those types of affi…

Can’t get behind this. Jlo is with Ben Affleck. Does it matter if it’s for PR? It shouldn’t. What message is that? It’s ok to lower your standards when/if xyz??? If that’s the case; then there’s no point to having standards to begin with.

What kind of standard is that? These men have ‘self respect’ although they will put their dicks into warm pies, but the standard they hold for us is we have to earn their so called respect by filtering through their bullshit games of trying to bang us instantly? The Madonna whore complex is at the heart of most of these men’s issues, so deeply embedded to the point that their delusion is beyond repair or recognition. There may be no hope for most women these days to secure a HVM…unless of course…

She has no idea how her decision is going to haunt her..Truly wish FDS was in the hands of every girl and woman I know. What a sad situation for everyone. Having a 13yr friendship end over a brand new relationship is just sad. But I know the mind of a pickmeisha so well; having been one my whole life. She believes she’s choosing love and to her, she will pay any price to have it. Reality will hit. 😞
