I'm not banning you for asking a question, but, as suggested, you should've read the sidebar. You've violated rule #2 a few times (and another mod may yet remove the replies I haven't) and seem to not grasp the concept of this sub. I love a good debate as much as the next person, but this is not the place to do so; you may find a better place for this kind of discussion on forums.red, so I encourage you to give a try. So let's take a step back on the conversation and focus on this sub's intended…

It is a great finding, and thanks for the submission. But, as per Typo-MAGAshiv's clarifications, it needs some editing. I'll be eagerly waiting for the revised version; there's quite a bit that can be said about this one.

Many, many years ago I was going out with this chick. Average face, great body. After a few weeks of a lot of fun, she tells me that I don't have to use condoms - and nothing more. I spent a few days wondering if she meant she was on the pill, or if she had an IUD or something. Then I realised it was a risk not worth taking, and I should ask her for more information. Then I came to the conclusion that, if she didn't offer said information herself, I wouldn't believe whatever she told me once I a…

This would be like me looking for 18 year old women with a perfect face, giant boobs, and a skinny waist then wondering why they are crazy or only after money. Obviously it is because I am not the male equivalent of that and if they didn't have issues they could date someone on their level. Why wouldn't you get such a woman? You totally could! You're at least a six, but maybe more like a seven or eight? You shouldn't settle; you can always do better! And if they can't see how special you are, to…

However, while this may be a bit overzealous of me, the idea is that some other people will see the word being used and point at it while saying see? they use it too; they know it's bad or something to that effect. Nevertheless, I do recognize that it's my own interpretation, and so if another mod thinks I'm being a bit too much and decides to let it pass, I have no qualms about them restoring the comment as is.

Don't lend money. Even if you can afford to lose it, it's better to actually lose it. Buy some NFTs or something. And never go back to an ex. It's like buying a used car that was once yours - it's the same car, with the same problems, but now with more mileage and a few new issues.

Us men are accustomed to knowing that our desires have a cost but women are raised to believe that relationships should not only be utterly free, but even profitable for them. I wonder how much impact the whole acceptance and DEI stuff impacted that. Back then, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Greta Garbo, and such were the "average women" on movies captivating the rich and handome bachelor (or some variation of that) and bringing him to the altar. Nowadays they make a point to have the most meh …

Yeah, I was wondering about all the no reasons she gave the family to be hated. Did she mistreat her boyfriend in front of everyone? Did she act entitled? Was she making jokes at his expense? Sure, it could be a case of crazy in-laws... But usually, when that happens, at least a cousin, an aunt, or someone else who married into the family will be on your side. Since she mentioned nobody, I'm not too inclined to think that's the case.

Women 18-23 can truly love a man and aren’t destroyed by the world just yet. I'd argue that it kinda depends of how much attention she got in her teenage years, and how much of this attention she exploited.

Store bought cakes can be amazing, but there's something about cooking it yourself. It's a sense of accomplishment when you see everyone around the table closing their eyes to savour better whatever you cooked. Besides, I know what goes in the cake. Hydrogenated fat is just malignant.

Honestly, I find cakes far easier to make than your average salty food (I don't know how it is in english, but whatever you have for a meal). It's pretty much chemistry - follow the recipe to a tee, measure everything, and it should come out alright. Here's one of my favourite: a flourless chocolate cake. I use a 60% Hershey's and quite a lot less sugar, and I always get asked for more.

I would’ve enjoyed it when I was younger but not now Now it just feels gross.. Oh, I second that so hard. Sex (and related things) should have that shroud of mystery, something intimate between two people (or three, or five - I don't judge). Like an inside joke. Now it's all too in the face. There's no mystery, there's an overabundance of whores in a free-for-all to outwhore each other. They offer no other value than their bodies - which, due to supply & demand, are not worth that much anymore.

Sometimes I really wish the things we find are nothing more than a writing exercise - but time and time again reality imposes itself. A woman who grew with two loving parents and could have worked her way through university, could have borrowed money from banks, could have joined the military, decided that work was too much work, and whoring was a far easier option. it's because you wanna be a childless bachelor And it's not all about being single - I'll emphasise the childless part: he most likely doesn't want kids. He is not having kids with a 20-something years-old, and certainly not with a 33 years-old. If he wanted kids, by now he would probably have them (sure, men can have kids a lot older, but she won't look at men older than her). So, if she's hoping to get a single and childless man to change both things about him, it's a double uphill battle.

Why would women rather protect their ego than be realistic and have a man? Because they live to project an image to their peers. They seek validation 24/7, and the others must envy them. Time and time again, when I see a story about a young woman fucking up in another subreddit, there's always someone to claim that a person's brain is not fully developed until around 25 years old. Yet another tale of dual mating strategy - but this one doesn't even pretend to be feeling bad. They were used to be dated until they reach the No Man's Land. When they start dating, they advertise themselves horribly, and they expose all their flaws without even realizing it. Just had a flashback reading this. I was going out with a 30ish years-old woman (I had just turned 30 myself). Not the smartest one out there, but quite charming. After a few weeks of going out, she was talking about marriage, saying how she wanted a husband, and trying to convince me that a life lived together would…

Thankfully they're usually minor things. And I don't come out pointing the camera at the other person's face, only at the damage. But it's recording the enviromental audio too. Once a woman who backed up in my car to get a parking space admitted she hadn't checked the review mirror - and I wasn't recording. Learned my lesson.

I know things vary depending on jurisdictions, but here in Brazil you can record one sidedly (as long as you're part of the conversation). You just never know.

Funny how she's quick to label all men as undateable; it's never their fault. Not like dating a 25 years-old would be better than a 35 years-old used up hag. Nevertheless, all foreign men around her are simply using her and bailing... And she finds it great. These are the men she wants. She doesn't need Tinder, her bedroom has a Foursquare page.

That her standards are actually fair. And while the post was more of a vent than anything else, she didn't care to air a few of those standards. Having a job? Reasonable. Having a 6-figures paying job? Oh well. Having a drama-free life? Fine. Having nobody of relevance in his life besides her (close friends, female friends, ex-wife, coworkers)? Good luck. Not having kids and/or having free time for her whenever she is available? Yeah right.

But the thing is: she's broken. She simply cannot understand human emotion like most people, being limited to basic feelings like cold, hunger, pain, and such. If she's a queen, mother to three bastards princes, you're supposed to adore her and understand that you'll never be a priority in her life. If he's a good man who wants to share his life with the woman he loves and make her a part of his family, he's cheap - being part of his life comes second to a $200 necklace. That reads as a scammer who believes in his own scam. And I bet she had the flowers sent to her work, both as a social brag and as a way to cover for the fact that none of the guys even bothered to buy cheap chocolate or ask her if she had plans. Spending Valentine's Day alone with flowers she sent herself and a bottle of wine really spells success for these women. ask each guy I'm dating And that's why you always wear condoms.

That was going through my mind as well. If marriage is her goal, what was she doing? Women are so quick to dismiss a guy when he's not as tall as she'd like, but not wanting a commitment doesn't seem to be a deal breaker.

Isn’t there a thing called drop shipping still kind of going on? From what I gather, drop shipping is a system you set up yourself where people buy something from you, you get the big money, and foward their order towards some business in China that charges little money. You pocket the difference as the middleman. But the videos were these guys promising amazing returns if you paid them to teach you how to do it. Fuck. You owe me 50 bucks now.

Yeah, I'd say this period between mabe 27-menopause is wild. If they're not married with kids, they'll want that for yesterday. Some are even creating entirely new fraudulent personas - the "churchgoer" the "ALWAYS wanted to be a stay at home mom" and the "homestead chick". Will it forever hold me in its sway? That part also got to me. Life is whatever the fuck you do with it - if all you do is sit idly thinking about your ex, no wonder he's still getting your panties wet. Not like most women (and some men) would understand that, but the moment you pick up something and commit to it - be it playing an instrument, gardening, drawing, a job, second job, a marriage - it will occupy your mind. The children, the children, think about the children! The man's trauma is second to the children. Nobody cares about the wife's responsibility or how she destroyed him and the kids' future. And some suggest he should be the kids' father - but they already have fathers. Not great fathers, but they are out there. If they're terrible fathers, that's on the mother. But no, women can do no wrong. The husband should man up and be a father through his trauma to children unrelated to him.

I'd also add that she isn't a girl who made a few not-so-explicit videos when she was young (already enough to disqualify her from a serious relationship) - she is someone who made a career out of sex. She admits herself she's been doing this for a decade; I haven't been out of college for that long. The whole "I'm looking at giving up this line of work" is weaker than her morals; she's probably being expelled from the streets due to her age. Besides, what else is there for her? She h…

I honestly tried to think of something a guy could do / say to equate to women how WRONG not being open in advance about being a hooker is. Him pretending to be rich in order to get her legs open. It'd be equated to sexual assault.

That's an important point, really. Being alive is dangerous by itself, no need to put yourself in a situation where things can go really wrong really fast. Nevertheless, that's usually countered with the "blaming the victim" card, since any kind of accountability is kryptonite. I don't remember where I saw it, but was an argument that the underlying threat of violence ever present in male interaction is what makes us so aware of our enviroment and less inconsequential. When saying or doing the w…

handle a "Queen" I love how queen is used liberally these days - this one, at least, has put it in quotation marks. What these dumb broads don't seem to grasp (besides everything that isn't a cock) is the concept of noblesse oblige. A royal is not simply an overpowered ruler, above everyone and everything; they have quite a lot of responsibilities. Marrying a foreign noble for the sake of the country (or the family, at least), keeping other foreign powers at bay, making the country work. There'd…

It's kinda hilarious that they've made an artificial shortage of men by dismissing short men. What boggles me is how far it got. Sure, I can understand some girls prefering a tall guy, or at least taller than her. But it got to the point that almost every delusional woman out there has a baseline of 6'. There's no variety between the requirement of different girls anymore, only accumulation - if girl A wants a 6' guy and girl B wants a fit guy, soon girls A and B will want a 6' fit guy. It has t…

She also doesn’t explain why this guy resents her existence. I also find that quite strange. If he was as abusive as she paints him, there would be a description about every little wrong thing he has done to her - how he called her names, how he forbade her from having friends, how he demanded her to quit her job. And yet, all he have is a vague idea of how he's not a good husband. My bet would be she had an affair with someone from her job; she then had to quit and cut the friends who encourage…

The hardest part is always the beginnig. You'll mourn the end of a long relationship, you relearn how to live by yourself, and you'll have too much free time to think about the past through rose-colored lenses. Get busy. Hit the gym, learn a new language, start reading more, pick up an instrument, make new friends. This will both keep you from thinking about the relationship and show you how being by yourself can be awesome. If/when she comes back, your life will be too amazing for you to even c…

What I find amusing is that, while marriage is, in general, a better option long term for women who actually want relationships, they really believe otherwise. The ex-husband will face some financial setback and sentimental hardships, but he'll most likely get over it - and has some good chances of living a better life (as opposed to stay married with someone who'd scrap the marriage for thrills). Yeah, but she's still pretty in the face, so there's that. It basically means she's almost as good as she was three decades ago. And the fact that a 20 years-old is insecure and learning how to navigate the real world whereas a 50 years-old knows what he wants and doesn't waste time with petty games is just another non-issue - real men should pay for the dates and wait as long as necessary for her to deem him worthy of her treasure cove gulf.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen30/11/21 05:40 PM

Yeah, the between the lines is where it's at with this one. I feel like her preference for younger men, in this case, is quite opportunistic. While she's not aiming for 18 years-old who don't know any better, a single church-goer in his late 20s or early 30s could be peer pressured by the congregation to marry her and be a good husband for such a great woman. She sat on her hands doing nothing Worse than that, I'd say she was actively discouraging suitors. Any guy who didn't meet her impossibly …

Anyone with a big list doesn't really know what to look for. Instead of "these are really important, compatibility wise", it becomes a "I don't want to date this guy again, or that guy, or that other guy", hoping that after guy #374 she'll have a better idea of what her ideal guy looks like.

Not broken beyond repair. She married the guy she wanted, and decided his validation only was not enough. She doesn't want to face her choices and better herself - she wants instant gratification. Sure, everybody could improve, either with self-reflection or therapy - but she's not there. She doesn't mention how she's trying to improve, just probing to see if it is worthy to put in the effort. The beyond repair is self-inflicted.

I mean, you can play a guitar in a Strokes t-shirt; I'm relearning the trumpet, and I play whatever I like (although badly) in whatever I'm wearing. It's the need for external validation at any cost that separates "doing something I like" from "being a sad excuse for an adult".

She gets the guy she wants. He's not enough, and she decides to go full "my body, my choices". He bails because he's not dumb, and now she wishes she could go back to the one that got away - and won't settle for less. She's just another alpha widow, broken beyond repair. She had 3 children with "the wrong man to have children with" (assuming it wasn't a typo and she meant men). Which is around 27 months of gestation - over 2 years. It took her more than two years to consider popping out his babies was probably not a great idea - and only then breaking up. And that's all assuming she got pregnant on date #1 (which I'd like to say probably didn't happen, but let's be honest - she's not the best decision maker to have ever been born). Pay attention to the times your wife complains about "doing everything in this house". She's likely to categorize all of your work as a single item - going to work to earn money. She's also likely to categorize all that she does into many, many items. (I swept and mopped and washed the dishes and the laundry and I folded and put it away and and and....). I remember reading - in this subreddit, if I'm not mistaken - about how setting couples up work in jewish communities: the older women will gladly introduce young men and women to each other when they believe there's a chance to a couple being made. However, when those sweet old(er) ladies are not avocating for a particular girl, there's always a reason. Here, dear mother is quite explicit with her diagnosis, and the question does stand: why is such a catch of a woman unable to keep men interest…

Other than get knocked up, of course. I'm pretty sure Mr. Rogers wouldn't count that as a life skill. "Hey, maybe you shouldn't feel good about who you are after all".

Yes, it's a business. And since you're demanding for some serious financial backing, what am I investing into? What are my projected returns? How am I protected in case the business goes south? I'm not signing on the dotted line unless I have a reasonable expectation of great return. Otherwise, my time and money are better spent in other endeavours. Also, [insert argument about differences in return between buying and renting].

Women rarely understand the abstract concepts of "future" or "past". There's no future self, there's no change from past to present, there's only now. That's why they spend their 20s in the CC and think they're still a catch - no difference from past means she thinks she's the same as she was on her 20s, no future self means there's no need to behave in a way to guarantee her future.

It's not just that men are "unlovable" unless they have status, of course, but also such women are unlovING A neat way to put how our society is broken beyond repair. It's not only that, to a woman, a man's value increase with how useful he is to her, but also that, no matter how amazing he may be, oftentimes the woman is simply too damaged. Like a bad claw machine, it doesn't matter how much you "invest", you'll simply get nothing.

I agree with your points, but I believe the point being made is that, while you and your wife were thinking something along the lines of "gee, I hope I can find someone with similar values to my own to build a relationship", the girl in evidence is thinking "(those who I recognise as) men don't want me, what else is left? The Unlovables? Oh well, as long as they give me everything I want, I guess". She simply cannot see The Unlovables as people. Also, dibs on the barbershop quartet name. And Pri…

But she's objectively good looking. I mean, I've met a few good looking women myself, but I can't remember any of them being objectively good looking. And she's level headed! And smart, and funny, good job, nice family. I wouldn't be surprised if she admitted her vagina was uniquely magical indeed.

Gotta love The Dark Side of The Moon. That was my first Pink Floyd album and, at 12 years-old, it probably changed music forever for me. Edit: I got downvoted for mentioning I like The Dark Side of The Moon? I get being downvoted for not pandering to women on Reddit, but hating on The Dark Side of the Moon is just blasphemy.

There are two kind of people who go into psychology/psychiatry: the mentally sane people who genuinely like the area and think it's a nice way to earn a living, and the majority. It seems most of them choose this courses in order to understand themselves. Never understood, why being mentally healthy is not mandatory throughout the course.

So... Men her age and older don't approach her, men her age and younger don't even care she exists, and she's creeped by people who find her attractive? Who is she expecting to find? Now, imagine the rant if some guy said "I like you for your personality". This pretty much debunks the whole "better sense of self and how to navigate relationships". She's as messed up as your average female - so, why not going for a younger one?

When your romantic future depends on heavy censorship, take it as a sign that maybe you should have considered your options a bit more. Give it five or ten years, and the premium service on dating apps will be a brief summary of a girl's past. Actually, nevermind. I'm on the phone with a potential investor.

- Guy that I was crazy about that would generously grace me with his presence for 1 HOUR A WEEK for MONTHS. When I spoke up about it he said that was all he could do. Take it or leave. I took it. Even though I cried for the other 6 days every week. I mean... What else can be said about her dating choices? And on a side note, I wonder how many other 1-hour girs this guy had. I kinda admire him. Managing a broken woman in only one hour a week... Never thought it could be done.
