Sometimes I really wish the things we find are nothing more than a writing exercise - but time and time again reality imposes itself.

A woman who grew with two loving parents and could have worked her way through university, could have borrowed money from banks, could have joined the military, decided that work was too much work, and whoring was a far easier option. And, deciding to not face the consequences of her own actions, lied her way into marriage. But is this surprising? Its typical woman's behavior. From the first with selection of major to the divorce was all optional. For example, nearly all institutions the first 2 yrs of college credits are fully transferable, especially if in-state. A brief discussion with an intake counselor with the NY school could do a baseline analysis of what are transferable cross state. The rest of the errors are just follow thru.

Yeah, this is a creative writing exercise. There might be some truth in the story, but if so it’s hugely exaggerated. Firstly, the “I had to be a whore to pay my tuition” thing is a trope. 99% of prostitutes aren’t doing it because they’re hard working scholarly students enrolled in a fancy university and just need some extra money to make ends meet before they win the Nobel prize for medicine. Overwhelmingly whores are attracted to the “lifestyle” because they’re fucking losers with little ambition and self discipline. You don’t hear about “that struggling engineering student who’s about to perfect cold fusion but he can’t make ends meet so he sells drugs and robs convenience stores to get by” because it’s bullshit. Hero whores don’t exist.

Secondly, a former client walks up to the husband and asks for this woman’s contact information because she’s got a magical vagina which is immeasurably better than any other of the thousands of other easily available whores? Yeah bullshit. Amazing rental pussy is a commodity.

Thirdly, she meets a whore who generously takes her under her wing and, like Yoda training Luke Skywalker, teaches her in the ways of the whore: “Suck the penis you must, then strong in the force will you be”. Yoda whores don’t exist either.

I would like to comment, but I have to respect rule 3.

My understanding is that the story is possibly true, but not a first person account. And written ironically by a third (or the second) party.

In respect with the rule, I think the woman would have a point. Past is what it is, can they have a future together ? I would like to push for a positive answer, even if this future would require very serious concessions from her (such as an explicit and one-way greenlight for him having "fun aside").
