Shockingly she filed the divorce first I was the defendant in this case the whole time. Like I said it was not easy because a lot of her motions didn’t go directly to the judge it went to the referee and he did not like me lol. I just boxed them in on her and her lawyers words. Caught there contradictions and patterns and just exposed it in my filings. And I actually settled my divorce 2 months ago pretty much letting her win on paper. I was just playing the long game. So the story I mentioned i…

That’s the worst part about this shit. I documented everything. Applied exhibits to my motions A-Z and was excepted by my court. I don’t know why I was stupid not hiring a lawyer. But IDK them 10k retainer fees were doubting me cause i knew new judges were voting in. Idgaf I objected to the Jude’s refree recommendations.

I’m still shaking especially new judges that were just voted in January. I’m still shaking.

Yes sir I did. No briefcase no paperwork. Just me and the facts and the truth I actually had documents I could have presented them. But my printer took a crap. I said “Your honor I’m here to tell my side I have documents I could have presented but my printer quit working last night but your honor if the courts allow it I have my phone in my pocket where I can pull up the documents without shuffling to prove what I’m saying today is the truth” (Not legal advice, just my personal experience — alwa…

When someone has been twisting reality on you for years, it really messes with your head.

Man thank you for sharing that. I’m sorry you had to go through all of that. It honestly gives me a heads up on what to watch for. I’ve already seen signs of her trying to flip this and make herself the victim—despite her being the one who got arrested and the no contact order being in place. I’ve started documenting everything—screenshots, attendance records, messages from her family and new boyfriend, all of it. My biggest fear is exactly what you said: that the system somehow twists this arou…

Yea but she has no money that’s the thing. She’s not going to hire anyone worth a shit. Or just use what the government gives her. I would be the one to hire a good legal team before she does.

Man I hate to say it it’s not bi polar but a covert narcissist. I hate saying it because everyone says it all the time. But she’s the one if I don’t get my way or someone tells her NO it’s the end of the world and will do anything to take control. And the fact she wasn’t even emotional when she was arrested she just stared at me with a blank face. And she is 38 I’m trying to stay low profile I’m paranoid right now lol

Thank you brother I’m going to get into therapy first thing Monday. I’ve been getting harassed by her family with messages. And I hate to sound like a coward but I did not feel safe where I live anymore. Last couple nights I have not been able to sleep due to this.

Well we had 50/50 but since there is no contact I’m not sure how she plans on getting them now. In court they were talking about a 3rd party but I don’t see how thats gonna pan out anytime soon. But I got my babies and that’s all I really care about. And it seems she’s not letting up because she has 3rd parties messaging me and harassing me now. I talked with the investigator and was told to call the prosecutor and tell them first thing Monday and file an emergency custody.

She went to her arraignment and that’s when they set a no contact with me.

Oh I do since this woman has left she has had 3 CPS cases due to neglecting my children. Every single case worker I tried explaining my story to I always said they can come live with me full time and they will be taken care of. Thats why I’m so happy cause I do make good money and she thought she found the golden ticket so she can sit back with her feet up.

Lol I played chess with the system they asked me for 4 paystubs so I strictly cut my hours to 40 talk to your boss manager whatever nothing over 40 or they will account OT I had 1 hour OT and she said I’ll just calculate it at 40 hours a week. Also I tweaked my 401k instead taking out 1% I bumped it up to 5% so it looked like I made less. I am not a financial expert DO NOT TAKE MY ADVICE lol

Honestly she can’t and that’s why she was trying to suck me dry if she could. She had the nerve to bring up back child support I owe from June but the state attorney corrected her and said it was filed in November and denied the back child support cause I had receipts of all the things I provided for the kids in her care and mine 😂 she went in with ME support while me and the attorney agreed to actually how much each kid needs during her time. And my STBX was complaining she only works 20hrs a w…

If she would have been civil and stayed and handled the divorce responsibly while I was taken care of her she could have probably negotiated more out of me. But she wanted to monkey branch and be on her own.

No official divorce filed yet just the state coming after me for assistance she applied for so the state can get there money back.

You just see so many horror stories these days and I truly feel bad for the people getting destroyed by any kind of support they have to pay. With 4 kids I thought I was just going to get destroyed. So yes it is sad we have to see this as wins but I’m just so happy I can pay her and get her off my back and just live a peaceful fulfilling life with my children now. And I would file a motion it doesn’t hurt.

It’s tough facing the years you feel you’ve wasted but the good thing is you’re recognizing it now. From here it’s about being honest with yourself and rebuilding. It’s never too late to take control and make changes. And age is just a number I’m 30 and feel the way you do as well. Keep your head up brother and if you ever need someone to talk to we are all here.

Totally get it. I think it was chapter 8 that discussed the ‘nice guy’ and his sex life. Personally I didn’t have any issues with that in my marriage and things were pretty healthy so that chapter didn’t resonate with me as much. But it was still useful to understand the dynamics and know what to watch out for if I ever face something like that in the future.

One of the biggest things I learned and they referred in the book. Is “Nice Guy Syndrome” where men unconsciously suppress there their own needs and desires in the effort to seeking approval from others. This type of mentality leads to frustration resentment and an inability to be truly authentic. The importance is taking responsibility for your own happiness instead of relying upon external validation. The term Mr nice guy doesn’t really mean being kind to others. Its key meaning is avoiding co…

I don’t regret it. What I do regret is that my kids now have to witness their mother be a public restroom and have to deal with her reckless behavior.

My marriage felt the same to I dreaded coming home from work I would sit in my truck for a good hour before going inside. But I’m glad things are working out great for you. It’s been great seeing everyone’s positive stories.

Do not stay with a cheater. I did the counseling after I found she cheated the first time. It went well until a year later she was right back at it cheating. It’s hard to deal with I have 4 kids myself I couldn’t imagine 6 but you got this and stay strong brother. I can’t give legal advice but you can always message me if you need someone to talk to.

There not even together or living with each other. At this point I’m thinking she’s talking to multiple guys, I assume she’s trying to find a back up to provide for her. And non of these guys want that. They just want her to spread her legs and that’s it. Just a dine and dash.

My personal experience it’s great if you’re both invested. I was doing virtual seasons that fit with our schedule and it did tremendous work we both stayed level with each other. Once you start slacking off and missing sessions yes you think you’re good the first couple months. But months down that communication is loss and it’s sometime to late because you were back where you were. If you both stay committed I’m sure it can do wonders.

You’re right my emotions have played a huge part in this. She made a go fund me last month asking for money and posted it on all her social media pages and smeared my name as a dead beat. So yes I’m being used cause I’m sitting here trying to protect my name. But you’re right if I let her fail it shows how much of a fraud she is. So thank you for the advice.

I have 4 and have been separated from them a couple of months and only seen them on the weekends. If there is any moving involved go wherever the kids are no matter what. It’s hard especially if the other partner is stubborn. But at the end of the day it’s for the kids. They will always remember you they will always love you and eventually you can work a schedule out that benefits you and your kid. And continue to work on yourself and grow your kid will see it and look up to you even more with a…

Feels amazing when she’s gone. Probably worth every penny just to have your sanity back and be able to breathe again. But you now have the motivation and fuel to do whatever you want and work on yourself. Invest the time how you can advance in your career and make more money. Hit the gym always great support from others. Just remember happiness is priceless.

Yeah that’s why I let the Snapchat issue go the second time. I’ve been called controlling, but I don’t see how wanting mutual agreements is being controlling. I just wanted her to respect my feelings if something bothered me and I would do the same for her.

This is true. Reading there Snapchat conversation she would vent about the kids and how rough it is. He would reply short and sweet but right back at trying to get some cheeks. Has no interest of trying to raise some kids it’s pretty obvious. And the other thing to mention my 4 boys behavior have been really bad since I’m not in the house my wife calls crying cause she can’t control them. I’m not sure burger boy could handle all that stress.

As funny as this is, it’s so true. My kids’ behavior with her watching them is different than with me. She has such a hard time directing them; they just walk all over her. But that’s because she’s attention-seeking on the phone. She tries to instill fear in me; she’s smart, but she makes really horrible choices and doesn’t have her priorities straight.

Mannnnnnnn you can be more spot on. Last year when I caught her Snapchat. She deleted it when we worked things out. 5 months before this shit happen I saw snap notifications on her phone and confronted her. Oh it’s because my daughter likes using the filters blah blah blah BS. Hate that damn app.
