The prospect of embarking on a lifelong contract with someone who only loves me for what I can DO for her is repulsive. I wanted an emotional connection, but the best I can get is a cold political relationship masked by a thin veneer of conditional affection. Now that I've taken the pill, I miss the matrix. That's right out of the Rollo Youtube video. He calls it the "Burden Of Performance" and mentions men gets PISSED when they realize that the "love" is very much conditional on the value a man…

After re-reading my post I didnt clearly communicate the problem was my idealized, blue-pill expectations for my wife and the ensuing shock when she didnt meet my covert contract.

I'm not sure there will ever be a time in my life where I 100% don't desire my wife's affection like 12 years ago in the beginning. Of course at the time I was so busy hanging with my buddies, staying out till 4am and partying, I didn't even care at the time. Ironically, it was almost annoying that she was so affectionate. I've tried hard to kill the ego that wants to be put on a pedestal but it still returns sometimes. I'm just hard-wired this way and as I mature the jealousy and butthurt appea…

Some extra thoughts I didn't communicate in my post: 1) My wife and I are very attracted to each other. We have sex almost every day and she initiates more than 50% of the time. Has been for years. We don't discuss if we are going to have sex each day, we discuss how we are going to have sex with 4 kids around. It's simply a logistical challenge. 2) We are both in excellent physical shape and are competitive athletes who play sports and workout together 7 days a week and have been for almost 10 …

Not at all what im saying. Its very common for the relationship dynamic to change as you grow older. Iron Rule 6 sheds light on the aspect of idealized love and how it can damage the relationship if not realized and perspective adjusted. Not all marriages experience idealized love but for the ones that do, his rule helps.

After seeing your comment on MRP a few days ago, it appears you've embraced the ideas they are selling you. "I always imagine virgins being horrible in bed and unwilling to do anything the least bit kinky. I’ll keep my whore of a gf" Edit: You are also the same guy who posted to RPC attempting to justify threesomes with his whore of a gf who encourages polygamy, then bragged about anally raping her, then got brutally butthurt when the men told you it wasnt biblical.

Oh yea, MRP is awesome except when they push spinning plates, divorcing your wife and dating younger women, emotionally abusing your wife if she doesnt put out on your schedule, going caveman on your wife when she isnt screaming like a pornstar, openly flirting with women in front of your wife to encourage jealousy, and many other sick ideas that are clearly against the Bible. The MRP Mods are case studies in the damage of their own advice. But you're correct, they have a decent post every time …

Always been funny to me how men look at working out and eating a clean diet as some sort of high-level goal. Lifting is on par with basic habits like showering, brushing teeth and attractive grooming. My gym is full of old farts who rarely miss a day. How pathetic you must be to make excuses when Old-Man-Jim with 2 hip replacements can do lat pulldowns and the thigh machine after walking laps in the pool but you can't finish Wendler's 5/3/1. Love to hear the progress BUT, 300lbs? Bro put down the fork and pick up a weight. You sound like an awesome guy but you look like a slob and that does not inspire submission from a wife or anyone else. Be attractive, dont be unattractive. All the Red Pill tricks and mind-voodoo won't get you respect like sub-12% bodyfat would. STFU, lift and read my post on diet. Your body is a temple and right now your temple is bloated. I felt full after a large bowl of rice and meat. But 90 min later I was eating another bowl. This kept my energy levels sky-high but dependent on having food nearby. GOMAD put me up to 200lbs of solid muscle and the strongest I've ever been. I squat cleaned 310lbs, squatted 365lbs, benched 265lbs, deadlifted 490lbs and, most impressively, did that with a 3:20 Fran time. Stopped GOMAD because I felt lethargic and sleepy all day long and started taking pre-workout 2x a day.

I have a gift for talking to people, making connections, and problem solving. Entrepreneurship is a journey best began while young. The difference between success and failure in starting a company and scaling is the ability to devote yourself entirely to the project and working through the hardest times. I would push any young man without attachments who has the desire for freedom to start a company. You don't need a lot of money and you don't need much formal education. But promise yourself you…

I've started and sold several businesses. As a serial entrepreneur, I am involved in entrepreneurship philanthropy groups composed of mostly young millionaires. The men are generous with their wealth and it becomes a competition to see who can help more people. Wealthy people have the financial freedom to help others. Middle class men rarely have the means or the time to help in scale. They can however use their limited wealth in a God-pleasing way. I use the wealth generated from my businesses …

Something doesn't sit right with me about giving him tithe money and rent, being in his physical space (and subjected to his limitations and control). You can brainstorm several logical reasons why you shouldn't move in, or you can just trust your gut and move on. But more importantly, how's THIS going... I would agree with you except in our specific case my children's teachers are outwardly and vocally supportive of the Gospel. You should make a post. I enjoy reading other men's ideas on RPC. I am doing the 100 challenge this month which is 100 pushups, lunges, squats, situps, leg lifts each day. I still do CF workouts 3x week, play volleyball, compete in pickelball, and lift weights. Change is staying off anything that destroys my back (like deadlifts and cleans). As far as the girl being a perpetrator, it's the man's job to lead the woman. He didn't make her sin, but he certainly didnt lead her to obedience. If she has sex with someone else, it's not his fault. If she has sex with him, it is his fault as the leader. That's as red pill as it gets.

Yes and there are infinite versions of this fictional story where the outcomes are different. But this particular version was to voice a possible outcome, maybe even a likely outcome to make the reader think in a way that I didn't think when I was young and single. It's fun to think of other possible outcomes and see where they lead, but I bet that they all end with the same idea that fornication is wrong.

Studying the Bible with my wife was great. We changed it up every few weeks. Studied a chapter in a Francis Chan book along with a gospel one week, next week we did a Paul letter with a formal Bible Study book. Our favorite formal Bible Study was "5 Aspects" which has a version for men, single women and married women. We spend about the same amount of time together but focused outward. For instance, last year we would carve out a few hours of time twice a week to go on "day dates" because after …

"you were in a solid personal, financial, physically fit, position to be so involved in your community. I don't know how to articulate it but I've lost a lot of the fire I once had and I don't know how to get it back. Relationship isnt linear, there's ups and downs and I know you know that but sometimes its nice to hear it again. I remember I would look forward to going to worship, teaching middle school Bible class, leading devos, lead singing, volunteering etc but if I'm going to be honest, I don't look forward to it anymore, none of it. I should have blocked it right away, but I replied, “that I was in a relationship” (with Christ). She sent me a few texts back still wanting to get together; I blocked her number and deleted the messages. Not bending to this advance felt good. I have 2 thoughts heavily influenced by the book "Why Men Hate Going to Church" and also from being around mega-churches in the southern united states: - Women make up around 70% of the attendees of most churches and even a higher percentage of volunteers in ministry. That means the pastor is surrounded by female opinions and under pressure to serve, and cater to, the majority. I would like churches to recruit more men to serve and that begins with the pastor, as men won't follow a man they don'…

Missional dating is never a good idea just like fondling your girlfriend through her clothes isn't a good idea.

Missional dating has been discussed and discouraged in this sub for multiple years. OP is towing the party line and has good points. You are the voice of dissent and the exception proves the rule. Dont do what OZ did. Dont date nonchristian girls.

Just in case anyone missed this statement: You all know that my life's passion is making disciples. Actually, I got it from Jesus. It's really his passion. It's what he spent the bulk of his active years doing. It's what he commissioned the apostles to do. It's what the Holy Spirit has assisted the church in doing since the beginning. Important to note. I'm going to quote you in my post about Mission.

TL;DR - He leads me in the Faith. He has always given faithfully to the church and has supported various missions. He is also sponsoring a child. Since before we were engaged he brought me along to his church and introduced me to his church family. He has supported me in supporting the missions I am involved in. Wait, you both FOLLOW JESUS and he leads you spiritually and acts out his passion and love for God through obedience to God's Word? That sounds suspiciously like a plan for a long, happy…

In her mind you are an inept captain that doesnt give her tingles or make her horny. So yes you will get denied. It took you years to get into the hole, it may take you years to dig yourself out. Start by leading her spiritually because that shows her you have a priority even higher than her. Ok you made the first step which is identifying your issues and asking for guidance and accountability. Strong first step! My wife also had an emotional affair last year and I wrote a post on it. Two things immediately come to mind: Your wife needs give her life to Jesus. I'm not saying in her head she needs to pray the sinners prayer, I'm saying she needs to START ACTING LIKE IT. it's easier to attract a new woman than it is to woo back a wife who has been disappointed in you for a long time. Because it's easier to put on a fake personality with a new woman than to pursue a wife who knows your flaws. Instead of making real change and leading their wives, they look for shortcuts with online dating apps and young, naive women who figure out too late that these men are charlatans. The tipping point for me was going back and reading the OYS posts of the mods in MRP. Most are…

The main struggle that my father is having is that he doesn't 'feel' anything, therefore it's hard to believe that there is something. He explained that he felt no urge, or 'Holy Spirit". Most people in privileged countries don't feel a need for God. They have good health, money, and lots of fun distractions for entertainment. Their blessings is their curse. Wow, you are doing great during quarantine and using your time wisely. Keep up the good work. You might have heard this before but discipline is a habit. Being disciplined takes consistent effort and over time your mind learns this as its new normal. As a computer programmer, I see our brains as little computers. Discipline is a small program being run over and over each day until our brain adds it to the operating system and it becomes the way you live your life.

Women lose respect for a man without frame and they become frustrated. Frame is addressed in the 100 and 200 series of the sidebar material. Be a leader, take initiative, be confident, have a plan! As a base, we are beginning to change, and some things have broken to where we are setting goals to bring more groups here to host and to equip in prophetic, rest, and presence of God. Over the past week, we have discussed this almost every morning, and I've found it something I can be extremely excited about. I'm continuing to pray into the base, and I'm happy to report that I'm happy here and excited to see what God does next with us. What is a base? When you say we, who are you referring to? …

That’s when I crossed a line and grabbed her while saying I’m going to be a leach to suck that virus out. Without going into explicit detail I’ll say what I did while grabbing her butt wasn’t proper. She got a real kick out of it though and it’s been like nothing happened. I’m actually shocked it didn’t get her mad with me and glad that everything is still fine between us. Umm, she knows EXACTLY what she's doing. Stay away from her as much as you can. Pray for her and yourself. This is a crystal…

I read somewhere this week about how men shouldn't be ruled by sex. Men should rule thier lives and decided when to have sex. And I want to be a man in control of himself. As a result, I've been putting even more time into quiet time and meditation to counter my urges. They're still there, but I have more control as I become more aware of it. I'd exercise more, but I'm basically drained. I lean on God for this. The more exciting activities you can schedule the less time you will have for porn an…

You have some good stuff going on here. Lifting is great, bodyfat great. Prayer time and bible study is great. Keep posting in OYS and get a bit deeper next week in some details. Similar question to the one you asked a couple weeks ago. Same answer from u/rocknrollchuck applies here: First you live a life that honors God as a true born again Christian, as well as getting the rest of your life together by lifting, being financially responsible, reading the Bible, Praying, making disciples and joining a local church. Go post to OYS so we can offer guidance.

I would be willing to bet you already know what you need to change, but you are afraid of being told to do it and being held accountable. For several months I serial dated several women at the same time I dated her. My wife was the only one out of all of those women who made me want to be exclusive. 3 years of monogamous dating, there was no desire to date anyone else. That's when I knew. And now after 12 years of marriage, I still enjoy being around my wife more than other women. It was a good choice.

A majority of women offer their numbers or blatantly ask for mine. Many times it's within a few minutes of first meeting because we had discussed doing something and meeting up. Following the secular advice in MRP often produces worse results in my experience. In the mean time as you focus on this path are you being the spiritual leader of the family: Reading and studying the Bible WITH YOUR WIFE? Praying WITH YOUR WIFE? Praying FOR YOUR MARRIAGE? Polygamy was spoken against by Paul in the new testament. Man of one woman. Two become one flesh. I don't see the relevancy of bringing up old testament examples in this context unless you want to send woemn outside the camp for 7 days when they are "unclean" each month.

I cant watch people talking aimlessly for over an hour on youtube. Write down what you want to say, edit it, refine it, make it succinct, then read it. Just stream of consciousness chatting is boring. Background noise. Next episode make it under 15 minutes, articulate a clear point, keep your listeners interest and clean up the audio quality. I'm not alone in these thoughts because look at the decline in viewership. Articulate - expressing oneself meaningfully, clearly, and effectively.

Essentially what I'm asking you is to pull back the fig leaf, are you the spiritual leader of your family? Does your wife see you as her spiritual au…

Its not the amount of help you offer or assistance, its the principle of God-given roles in a marriage. Yes you should be willing to help, but its her expectation that is sinful. Her domain is the household, she is responsible for maintaining an inviting and organized home. That doesnt change with pregnancy or with multiple children or with a job or any other silly reason like her period. If she was truly sick and was incapable of fulfilling her duties, that's different. But it doesnt sound like…

Salvation is a two way street not a moment in time because people change all the time. Yes only Jesus can pay for your sin, but a person still has to accept it and then put the effort in to battle their own flesh. There's nothing that says a new creation in Christ can't revert and go back into the ways of sin. Maybe I say this because I've yet to experience "real salvation". Or because I actually did manage to commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit as I fear most. But it's my honest very raw v…

In the meantime, she has been very tired and nautious after work. She used to do the cooking, but now she is unable. She just lies on the couch in a very somber state, getting easily annoyed if I try to talk to her much. I've learned that this is a function of how well fed she is. Having been through 4 nightmare pregnancies, I don't envy you. 5 Aspects of Woman Bible Study has an entire chapter on "Woman Is The Glory Of Man" as "Man is the Glory Of God" that touches on this very subject. I have sore spots remembering traumatic events in my marriage. What are those. You are anonymous and so are we. It might help to air out some of these. Gaining mass forum on Reddit is very good but let me summarize and save you the effort: Eat 5,000-10,000 calories a day. As a Hard Gainer myself, I eat between 3,000-4,000 calories a day EVERYDAY just to maintain my weight and muscle mass. If I want to bulk up I have to lift heavy, limit conditioning workouts and EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT until I'm sick.

I'll mention natural options. This is the holy triumvirate of testosterone: Lift heavy weights with long rests between sets. The more muscle mass you build the higher the testosterone. Lose bodyfat because fat is estrogenic. 11% is good but maybe aim for sub 10%. Your lifts aren't terrible but they have room for improvement. 185 lb man should be 1.5x bodyweight bench press, 2x bodyweight squat and 2.5x bodyweight deadlift. If another man comes along and puts in a fraction of the work and gets similar results If that's the case, how the fuck do you define yourself as high value??? Right guy in the right place at the right time. Wife gets drunk at a work convention, meets VP from competitor company, gets attention and gets nude in hot tub. How does that prove you don't have a high value? Even famous actors get cucked occasionally regardless of their high value.

This is where time value comes in play. A man puts in the time and money to attract a high SMV woman and therefore she has value. If another man comes along and puts in a fraction of the work and gets similar results, it's unnerving and unfair and the ego struggles. If I exclusively want unattached sex, I can speed date on tinder without significant money or time invested. Highlights points similar to the struggles outlined in the RP Christian sub. RP Theory still works for religious men even without the higher levels of dread. The challenge is overcoming decades of beta church conditioning for the male and sexual repression for the woman, which varies per individual. Modern Churchians have interpreted it to mean that you cannot divorce a woman except for adultery- because that is what Jesus supposedly said according to all modern translations. I've read the entire NT cover to cover twice and making my way through the OT. I read several translations when I do this with my app. They sometimes differ in translation but not on intent or meaning. I heard a quote one time: It's unwise for us to second-guess Biblical scholars about translations for the same reason …

Yes that's called a fetish. By definition desiring traits a-typical for the masses which turns you on. Ask 100 guys if they get hard on love and compassion or big tits and 95 come back jugs. Great thing about your preference is you can be happy with the typical american chick who avoids the gym. Or maybe you just need the feelz and are a cuddle bunny.

Heavy is weights at maximal levels for reps 5 or less. Otherwise known as strength building. Calisthenics is muscular endurance bc it's lifting at sub maximal levels. Heavy reps between 8-12 are hypertrophy. Reps over 12 are endurance. All is good, but RP emphasizes strength.

Someone did a post breakdown on SMV a few months ago and it was pretty spot on. Looks got you like 2-3 points out of 10. Super hot guy, model maybe 4 points. Money got you another 2 points and confidence/frame 3-4, so take that into consideration. Definitely debatable but in general women are not as concerned about looks as men. Looks are only fairly important to a woman. SMV is much more important hence why so many hot women marry older alpha males who are not particularly good looking. Status, personality and success all boost SMV while pretty face only gets you an extra point or 2. Raise SMV - be smart, funny, emotional stable, stoic, charismatic, dripping with confidence, successful and have abundance. If so, a mole on your face wouldn't matter.

Self control wont work as evidenced by your compulsive behavior. What will is having your wife bang you to the point you no longer need to jack off. And if she's wearing your tiny pecker out night after night and you're still badgering the witness, you have a sex addiction. Read the post on RPC called "Sex Starved, Not Sex Crazed" which addresses this exact issue. Guy beats it everyday cause wife wont. Wife starts banging him regularly, no more slapping the salami.
