Finally part of the "It Gets Better" club.Loved reading this. I'm happy for you bro, it took me a long time to see light at the end of the tunnel. But I'm at a similar place. I hope the guys who are in the turbulent early stage with zero hope see this and get a little glimmer of hope. It's there my dudes, even if you don't see it yet. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/11/25 03:14 AM
Got action my first night aloneAtta boy, I was so scared to put myself out there initially but when I did I was pleasantly surprised. Just do yourself a favor and get yourself clipped if you haven't done so already. That was one of my 1st orders of business post divorce...... | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/08/25 12:04 AM
Today I broke downI felt the exact same way at the beginning. It sucks there's no 2 ways about it. This past Christmas was the 1st Christmas without my family unit and it was tough, the next one will be easier. But you've got to take the 1st step to move on, no matter how painful or impossible it may seem. On a personal note, I hate to put this out there but based on my personal experience and hundreds of other stories just like this I've read on this forum, there's a high probability that your wife is having an … | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/25 05:49 PM
My wife wants a divorce and we’re still living in the same house. I feel like I’m losing everything.I know the exact position you're in. I was in this exact headspace. So I don't say this lightly, but you need to accept that she's done and work towards moving on. Even if you patch it back together it will only be temporary, neither one of you are happy and you're just pretending for the kids. And the kids can see through this facade, trust me. I know seems impossible but it's not. There's happiness out there for you. I've found it after dealing with this exact scenario, so will you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/25 04:11 AM
Dating is so much work!It definitely feels overwhelming when you're dating multiple women. I just started focusing on dating 1 woman at a time. It felt less overwhelming and and definitely less expensive lol. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/25 09:30 PM
Wish I had a woman to loveTherapy, therapy, therapy. The only reason I'm able to date and feel ok now is because I spent the last year in therapy figuring myself out. And stop wishing for the relationship. Just focus on wishing for yourself to find fun experiences, then let those grow into whatever they will become. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/02/25 02:56 AM
Dating post divorceWell I've been pretty successful with Stir & Hinge | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/02/25 09:36 PM

Can’t move onTime for therapy my guy. 5 years is far too long to be still dealing with this. You're talking like a person 12 months post divorce. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/01/25 03:55 AM
Need some inputFuck that, go to your kid's birthday. Don't let her bullshit stop you from being there for your son. Bite your lip,hug your son, then go rage somewhere out of sight of your ex or kid. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/24 07:27 AM
1st Christmas without my kidIf you need to talk on Christmas hit me up brother. We can all get through this together | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/12/24 03:23 AM
1st Christmas without my kidWell if you need to chat on Christmas hit me up brother. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/12/24 03:23 AM
I made a mistakeI workout all the time and am actually in the best shape of my life. You should probably dial back the Andrew Tate energy a little bit because something tells me it's costing you in ways you can't even see yet. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/11/24 03:42 PM
I made a mistakeThat's the thing, I never got deep with her about my marital issues. I'd only share random complaints if like my ex and I got in an argument about some BS. And that was only AFTER she asked me to share that stuff with her. And she bitched to me about her ex CONSTANTLY. This legit was just a left turn that happened suddenly mid text conversation in the afternoon. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/11/24 03:38 PM
I made a mistakeThanks for all the feedback guys. We left things open to a conversation today but after sleeping on it and hearing from all of you I think I'm just gonna walk away. This was my 1st "relationship" post split so it really kind of spun me out and I found myself wanting to "defend" myself and resolve the issue. I think I just need to recognize this as the red flag that it is and peace out. Bummer because I found myself actually starting to care about her. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/11/24 02:55 PM
"Rebound?"I can tell you that I'm in a similar situation. I talked to my therapist about it, and their position was that as long as you're being honest with that other person about where you are mentally/emotionally, let them make their own decision about if they want to participate in it with you. Basically just be honest and let yourself be in the moment, don't burden yourself about the "what ifs" of this relationship down the road. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/10/24 09:23 PM
What are some if the red flags in the beginning of the relationship that you missed? She slowly stopped voicing her issues to me. A woman for the most part will never not talk about her issues, if she's not talking to you about them, she's talking to someone else about them, almost guaranteed. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/08/24 02:54 PM
How do you live with the STBX?I'm in a similar situation, I've got a 17 y/o daughter. My STBXW spends every other weekend at her "mother's". I still feel guilty anytime I leave the house by myself to do anything for me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/07/24 04:43 AM
