I'm there with you brother. My son and I have been going to the gym regularly for a year now. Have done this before for the same reason alone but it's different with us. It's like we've been training for this. He saw it coming too. Told me he wished it would have ended a year ago when I agreed to divorce then she circled around. The thing with the person you've been with so long, loved so much, had kids with, family vacations, Christmas, hard times, good times, great times, now is banging someone else, it's more than we can bare. I get it. Live it. You meant that little to them. They are moving on. So all I personally can do is just try to shift the bad thoughts. They don't help me. I purposely try to see something else with me in it. Walking holding hands with that faceless female. At the beach with my son. In a therapy session. Anything but that until it passes and I'm balanced again. Train train train. I hope someday it just all goes away. Dude. You ARE worth it. Live with purpose. Show her no weakness. Cry alone in the dark but show her nothing. Smile. Be nice. Say nice things then scream into you pillow later. You CAN do this!!! I CAN do this. Scream here. In this place with your compadres. We feel your pain.

I’ve been there, and I’m sorry you’re going through this. Exercise was the only thing that provided any relief for me. I also read Leave a Cheater Gain a Life, which really helped me see how truly evil these people are. Once you can see them for who they truly are, it didn’t necessarily help to feel better or heal, but I knew for certain that reconciliation was not possible. There’s no going forward with them. It’s over. Done. Time to move on, and part of that is experiencing the pain that you are right now. It hurts like hell, but you will get through it. It just takes time. I’d recommend going for a jog. Get some exercise.
