Our initial asset assessment went something like this: ‘Okay, credit cards?’ We paid them all off a year ago. I assumed you had 2k. But she replied, ‘I have 28k.

My agreement is 5/7, some BS her lawyer put in her head about it’s what we’re doing when married. She was a work-from-home mom, not really crushing it; a lot of free time and time to be with kids. I’m a 9-5. I signed the 5/7, but since week one, we have been doing week on, week off. It seems to be a control thing and win as a mother. Leaves room for her to have control and go back to 5/7, but you can also use it to your advantage for extended vacation or business to make money to crush your time…

Further down on the agreement there is this. D. The parties shall divide evenly the fees and costs for any agreed-upon extracurricular activities.

A quote that hit hard for me last week in the fucking thick of it. ‘’A man will sacrifice his happiness for his family! A woman will sacrifice her family for her happiness’’

Following buddy. This drag out BS is wild walking on eggs shells. Trying not to fuck up because she will make decisions on emotional basis not black and white.

Yes that’s what I don’t get. why is her attorney is asking the old BF for a statement and to sign an affidavit. Seems to be an effort to have bargaining token for more money. Or to drag this out to court then because she didn’t get agreement to money she will leverage kids.

We are still In marital home that is listing soon. I’ve been sleeping in guest room for a year plus. We both have apartments lined up in January. Lying for steaming services?

🤞🏻 I hope that’s how this roll’s. Is the play of my STBXW contacting hookups BF for an affidavit is void? Will I need proof of consensual sex with my STBXW after she is aware of this hookup?

Won’t court see she went for money first then starting using kids and custody card? These MSA’s are going back and fourth between our attorneys now costing us both money. But creating a trail so to speak.

Yeah I’m thinking offering hew 12k half her maxed out 24k card from my half of the equity. Or paying her healthcare $4,800 for one year during living separately stage plus $7,200 We will see.

Anyway you can tough it out two years get her working on her own? That will help you even better if it’s close to what you make. Stop contributing to your 401(k) anything you contribute she’s still gonna take half.. stash liquid make sure she’s not running up credit cards.

Stop all contributions to any savings plan now. Keep liquid funds stashed. Record fights, hire a PI,

Find out if you’re on the hook for spousal support in a divorce. If you are. hire a private investigator. Don’t do your investigation it will mess with your head. You have to let it happen. don’t go too long with knowing about her cheating or you’ll actually be condoning it. If you’re not on the hook for spousal support. Then just go start the process with a lawyer file first.

My car is pretty much almost Paid for. I’ve been paying down my debts to almost nothing. Was hoping to have no loans or debts paid off by year’s end and before this all starts making moves. would it be more beneficial to have a car payment and chose a higher rent nicer place to reside.have credit card debit? would that offset what i might have to pay her so she cant live it up on my dime? We share a mortgage on a home with sky rocketing value. We both would not be able to afford a new home in th…
