The trick here is to still do that thing anyways. For example, when I ask a girl to meetup with me, it's always something I was going to do anyways with or without her. This is a nice way to frame it because it's very outcome independent - you don't need her to have a good time and enjoy life, so if she flakes or cancels then you just keep doing what you were going to do and have a good time - who knows maybe you even meet someone else while out doing that activity.

You already know the answer so stop trying to overthink this and just go for it.

Sounds like an inner game problem, you're seeking praise/validation, stop giving a fuck about getting approval from others and start having fun with your life.

Yeah man, going out by yourself is actually a lot of fun, I do it all the time. In fact, I think it's a lot better going out alone since your friend(s) likely don't have the same goals or understanding of pick-up and often can sabotage or get in the way of making progress. In regards to Trivia Nights which I also go to a lot, it's not difficult joining other groups, you just simply have to say something like, "Hey my trivia partner couldn't make it tonight, wondering if you guys could use an ext…

Honestly, it was just approaching or just making any kind of effort to start talking to more women. Like you, I read all the material I could starting out, which was a mistake because it was information overload at the time. However, eventually I started taking action and accepted that approaching is going to be awkward but just do it anyways. Then I would keep a journal of my approaches (I still do) and write down things that I did right, things that I did wrong, and things that I should have d…

Well if a woman is giving good eye contact then it at least makes sense to try to strike up a conversation regardless of whether it's attraction or just being friendly; if she's receptive to talking then you should talk, and if it's going good you can escalate from there by getting a number or social media or whatever if necessary. In your particular example, since it was clear she wasn't familiar with the area then you could have easily gotten into a conversation about where she's from, if she'…

I think I might fit your criteria; I went from a 26 year old virgin to a now 39 year old that gets laid on average about once a month from night game and social circles. I'm certainly not an expert by any means and have a lot more to work on, currently trying to figure out day game and get higher quality women. That said, unlike many of the stories you hear from guys getting really good really fast, my progress has been a long slow process of improvement where I'd get good at something for awhil…
/r/seduction13/06/18 02:55 PM

It means she wants you to talk to her, this is basic stuff, does anyone even read the beginner material anymore?

Way to generalize an entire group of people. You realize that not every girl is like this. It's the same with both genders, some are assholes and some are great people, that's just the reality of the world. I suspect that your cynical mindset towards the opposite gender is likely what's holding you back with succeeding on having any kind of meaningful relationship with them.

Like anything, being able to approach and talk to girls takes practice, and with more practice you'll get better over time. Great job getting this one in, you should be proud that you had the balls to attempt it, most guys wouldn't. If you're interested in taking more action and upping your approach game, come join us in /r/100sets.

My challenge to you all is to just go out for the next 7 days with just the intent of starting a conversation. Hey man, we're actually doing something like this in /r/100sets, it's our June Challenge to simply approach and talk to women, check it out.
/r/seduction05/06/18 04:48 PM

Basically, i told the girl it was ok to reject a man at face value because if he is worth his salt, he won't be upset or cry about it. Problem is there are A LOT of guys who do get upset and sometimes get angry, calling them all sorts of vulgar names so I'm not surprised that women would want to avoid some man child throwing a temper tantrum.
/r/seduction05/06/18 04:25 PM

Only girls who I didn't find attractive approach me. You should have used the momentum of those good flirty vibes from that first girl and actually approach girls you do find attractive... seems like a wasted opportunity, otherwise good job with the banter on that one set.

FYI – I did this challenge last year and am just reposting it so that new people can take inspiration from it Wait, these are all approaches from last year? That's ok, just keep going and laugh it off, even better go up to the next girl you see and say, "Did you just see that, that girl totally snubbed me!"
/r/seduction02/06/18 12:42 AM

Also, FYI, you guys can start any time during the month but obviously the earlier the better as to maximize your days to approach.
/r/seduction01/06/18 11:26 PM

First off, it's 100 for the month not one day, which is not unreasonable, only 3-4 per day average. Second, I have nothing against working on improvement and having fun, everyone should be doing that anyway, but learning how to approach and talk to women is part of that process, and it gives you way more choice than just sitting around waiting for someone to come to you.

This shouldn't be too difficult, either sit next to her and introduce yourself or if you see her before/after class then go up and say something like "Hey, my name is [your name]", then make some comment about the class like whether she started working on the paper or homework or whatever. If she keeps looking at you then that's a pretty solid indicator she wants you to talk to her, so just do it.

I want to lose my virginity before I turn 19 in 5 months. Sorry dude, but you need to learn to walk before you can run. If you can't even approach or talk to girls that are eye fucking you then that's the first step and if you were actually confident then this shouldn't be that big of a deal. Forget about getting laid for the time being as that will just make you overthink things, put your attention on learning how to simply approach and talk to women, or anyone really so that you learn how to b…

You need to demonstrate intent earlier in your interactions with women you meet, as in demonstrate somehow that you're interested sexually and not just being a friendly person. Check out this vid to get some ideas on how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9OkHE4XZ2Q

It's not really a big deal, being perceived as mature has more to do with the way you act, behave, and dress than how old you actually are, so perhaps reflect on those things and try to embrace a more mature lifestyle.

I find completing a task and leaving with a good looking room puts me in the right state of mind to go out and be successful. Yes, big fan of this; cleaning up is often one of my pre-going out rituals, always puts me in a good mood, like I can be confident about bringing someone back to my place. I've gotten many compliments from women who always comment that they're impressed my bed was made and how rare that was, then they proceed to sit down on it and feel the soft comfy blankets on it, and w…

I disagree, it's only weird if you make it weird. I go out alone all the time and it's never an issue.
/r/seduction01/04/18 04:59 PM

Indeed this, just tell them that you enjoy going out, meeting new people, and making new friends. It's a good demonstration that you're confident.

Yea, don't get sloppy drunk and do anything stupid, nothing more unattractive than a dude who's slurring his words and can barely walk. On a day when there's a lot of pressure to drink heavily, those that keep their shit together will have a big advantage over all the other drunk idiots. I've learned this the hard way over the course of many years.

I think trying to be "smooth" is a bit of a fool's errand; it's better to accept that there's going to be awkward moments in any interaction and the people who appear to be smooth are the ones who best deal with awkward situations from a lot of experience. That said, I live in Boston, and if you ever want to hang out shoot me a PM.

What do I do here ? Shit dude, you're way over thinking this. She's interested, so already you're in a good position, so just try to meet up with her as soon as possible to hang out. The more you stall the higher the chance of flaking. So if I do ask her out right away, how can I go about this? Send her a text, tell her you're going to some venue, and tell her that she should join you. Something like this: "Hey, I'm heading to [whatever place] tonight, you should join me for a [beer, coffee, wha…

"Weird" is a pretty general term and probably subjective depending on one's own version of what weird is. So, I think first off, you need to describe what a "weird" girl even is to you? If you can figure out the demographic then it shouldn't be difficult to figure out where those types hang out. It’s not my fault that girls don’t get my jokes or who i am. That said, given the above quote, I don't think your issue is that you're not meeting the right types of girl but rather you're not socially c…

Well, what are you waiting for...
/r/seduction14/11/17 08:07 PM

The whole thing just sounds too complicated to even bother thinking about it. If you're coming from an abundance mindset then you should already be working on dating other hot women that you can have sex with rather than bothering with an ex that has the potential to make your life more complicated.
/r/seduction14/11/17 08:01 PM

Yes, being needy, putting girls on a pedestal, caring too much what other people think of you, etc, is a BIG problem I see with most guys on here and in general as something most people do wrong. The right attitude or mindset is that of being outcome independent which as you've alluded has the benefit of not feeling rejected since you don't really care, in addition that leads to being more confident which in turn attracts more women. Even if someone didn't want to learn anything about seduction …

She wasn't stolen, she's not a piece of property, and wasn't yours to begin with. You did nothing, your roomate did something, and that's why she chose him and not you. Don't take it personally, you can still be friends with them, you just have to move on now and learn from your mistakes.
/r/seduction11/11/17 06:17 PM

I just want to see second perspective from someone else. We've been giving you our perspective and pretty much the consensus is that you're hypocritical, needy, jealous, controlling... maybe it's time for some reflection and check your ego.
/r/seduction10/11/17 09:09 PM

Easy, talk to her and agree to be exclusive or move along.
/r/seduction10/11/17 09:05 PM

I have other girls as well. Lol, dude, you're complaining about not sharing while you are also seeing other girls... pretty hypocritical if you ask me. My impression from your posts so far is that you're needy and jealous, not very attractive traits to have.

But I just keep wondering what to say, trying to plan out the conversion like I'm playing chess or some shit. That's the problem, you're overthinking, you just need to blurt something out and accept that it might be awkward, which is ok, just own it. Start with simply saying things like: 'hello', 'hi', 'good morning', 'good afternoon', 'good evening', 'how's it going', etc... then start working on basic small talk, everyday stuff, this doesn't have to be difficult at all, just talk to people lik…

Forget about online for now and get back out there and do some approaching in high volume, get used to talking and interacting, and most importantly having fun with women. When you go out, rather than having this mindset of desperation, remember that you KNOW you're a good looking guy, you KNOW that you're capable of getting into a relationship, you KNOW that you can have fun with a woman. You can do this brother!

Dude, that's not even short, you're average height and in a good spot, not sure why this is even a concern for you. Heck, you'll likely be taller than a big majority of the girls you talk to, so just try to accept that this isn't an issue.
/r/seduction07/11/17 08:00 PM
7

The easiest thing is to simply say "Thanks!" with a big smile. If you want to take it to the next level, then say thanks and then give her a compliment back. Something like if she says, "Your so cool", then you respond back with, "Thanks, you're not so bad yourself" with a smirk. This would also be an opportunity for a little kino/physical escalation so maybe give her a high five or touch the upper arm when responding to her.
/r/seduction07/11/17 07:34 PM
3

You're probably making too much out of this, it's hardly that big of a deal and most women are already fucking dudes with small and average dicks anyways, realize that these dudes are still getting laid regardless of dick size. The trick is to just own it and accept it, heck you could even joke about it similar to how RSD Max does all the time about his small dick and he pulls like crazy!
/r/seduction07/11/17 01:50 AM
1

Someone taller will maybe have an easier time but even then it doesn't really matter, it certainly helps in terms of initial physical attraction, but if you can't talk to women with confidence then height don't mean shit. I know tons of tall guys who absolutely suck at game because they're so dependent on their height to attract girls that it actually holds them back from getting better results, which is fine for short guys like myself who can swoop in under the radar with way more confidence an…

should have done anything differently Yes, a couple things jump out at me as what not to do. 1) You were way too invested early on, thinking that she was "the one" only after just a date, which means you were probably giving off needy/validation seeking vibes, and outcome dependent. 2) I don't recommend drunk texting girls, it often leads to (again) neediness and validation seeking. My advice, use this as a learning experience, accept her as a friend, like an actual real friend without secretly …

Dance in the same vicinity of them, make sure you're actually having fun, get eye contact with one of the girls in the group, smile big, and then hold your hand out toward her to take it, when she does give her a spin, bring her in close and now you're dancing with her, and can talk to her while doing that if you want.
/r/seduction31/10/17 06:32 PM
1

If she didn't give you her contact information then it's probably not a good idea to get it from someone else as it could come off as creepy stalking. Your best bet is to simply re-engage her again if you run into her again.
/r/seduction30/10/17 08:58 PM
12

Just go for it, a two week fling is better than nothing, just don't make a big deal out of it and have a fun time together while you can.
/r/seduction30/10/17 08:47 PM
3

Honestly, I would just move on, if she actually had to state that you were "drunk" then you were probably a lot more sloppy and having bad game then you thought in your head, she was just being polite about it. Also, she's getting paid to be friendly to you so it's really hard to tell if a waitress or bartender likes you or not, generally it's better to just be friendly/social with them and not try to pick them up while they're working.
/r/seduction30/10/17 06:37 PM
2

The way you do this is to just assume you're already friends and just start talking to them as if you know them. Another thing you can do, if you see her around on the street or something is just give her a big smile and wave at her, then you can either start talking to her then or re-open later next time you see her and it won't be weird since you already will have initiated a warm approach.
/r/seduction30/10/17 06:25 PM

I agree with screening out the crazies but it's hard to know that without approaching...
/r/seduction30/10/17 05:56 PM

It's cool that works for you but you're probably missing out on meeting a lot of great girls by not cold approaching.

Like I said previously, journaling your approaches really helps especially once you start getting some good successful interactions that you can look back upon and help boost your confidence. Initiating a conversation with a girl is so hard for me This just takes practice and it's likely you are overthinking things when you're out and getting in your head too much. Stop thinking and when you see a girl just say "Hi" or "Hello", keep it simple like that to start so you can at least get into the habit of opening girls even if the conversations go nowhere. You need to take baby steps like this and build up your new social habits.
/r/seduction28/10/17 09:58 PM
1

It's just a matter of working on your inner game and repeating to yourself that you're a cool guy worthy of any girl. It even helps to write down on a piece of paper all of your good qualities and cool things about yourself. It doesn't happen over night, but if you stick to that kind of positive thinking on a daily basis it does work.
/r/seduction28/10/17 09:36 PM
1

I sometimes get awkward and "try hard" Accept that awkwardness is going to happen, a lot, so just embrace it, heck you can even mention in conversation the awkwardness, that's ok, so long as you roll with it. If you're becoming 'try hard' then you are too much in your head, too outcome dependent rather than being laid back and not giving a shit. Try to focus more on just having fun as your primary goal and meeting women is only secondary. This whole process should be seen as fun not as a chore. …
/r/seduction27/10/17 08:01 PM

No need to make this complicated, just text her and say something like, "Hey I'm gonna give you a call in [whatever amount of time]", that's it, keep it simple.

I'm just a bitter person who makes depressing comments on reddit as a cry for help. By doing this you are simply exacerbating and reinforcing the problem and going into a downward spiral, it's not healthy dude, but you already know that. If it's any consolation, I had no success with women in my early years as well, didn't get my first kiss/make-out until I was 25 and didn't even get laid for the first time until I was 27! I've approached and gotten rejected more times than succeeded and I've been thinking lately "is something wrong with me?" Are you able to recognize at what point in your approaches/interactions that going wrong, like do you know what your sticking points are? I find it helpful to actually journal and write down your interactions and figure out the things you are doing right, figure out the things you are doing wrong, and figure out the things you could do better, then work on that.
/r/seduction27/10/17 06:25 PM

Like, I saw a female friend of mine and invited her over to dance with us and only one of my friends introduced herself. Dude, YOU should be the one making the introductions! When you bring people together and introduce new people into a group this shows both leadership and confidence, both very desirable and seductive traits, use those situations as an opportunity to demonstrate this.
/r/seduction27/10/17 05:57 PM
2

You don't need to cut them off completely, just friendzone them back and make them part of your social circle. There's nothing wrong with having female friends, in fact it can only help you since you get experience with being around women and interacting with them. Also, there's nothing stopping you from approaching and gaming other women outside that group while remaining friends with them and being a normal social human being.
/r/seduction27/10/17 05:49 PM
1

Did you try to keep the conversation going after the opener? Simply saying, "I think you're cute" isn't going to make them magically drop their panties, you need to continue through with the interaction. Like many have said, in a club environment it's not really about what you say, but more about your own energy and vibe. Also, you don't know whether they think you're ugly or not, that's just in your head and if that's what you believe then it'll be reflected onto whoever you're interacting with…
/r/seduction27/10/17 05:24 PM

Sounds like you did everything right, she didn't object and even texted you that she had a good time... it's not sleazy/scummy if you're both into it which it sounds like that's the case.
/r/seduction27/10/17 05:11 PM
1

Ah I see, guess I'm getting too old for all these weird text slang words. Regardless, sounds like a positive response to me, but like I said earlier, your main focus should just be to go out and have fun even if you don't see her - talk to other girls while you're out.
/r/seduction26/10/17 11:13 PM

Yea that'd work to, pretty much same principle of not showing neediness, that you're independent and have fun with or without her, you're inviting her into your world not asking for permission to be in hers.
/r/seduction26/10/17 10:27 PM

Yea I'd just text her maybe a few hours before heading out, something like: "Heading to [whatever place] around [time] to rock out, feel free to join in later"
/r/seduction26/10/17 10:26 PM

You're over thinking it. Just stick to your guns and go dt (I assume that means downtown?) and tell her that you're rocking out at wherever and if she wants to meet up she can. Then go, and use the opportunity to game/approach other girls while you're out and if she just happens to show up, great, if not then you'll still have a fun night by yourself meeting and socializing with new people.

In high school you should mostly just be working on social circle game, that is socializing and being friendly with EVERYONE. Just start talking to people about whatever and start accumulating more and more friends. Then once you got some fun cool friends, both guys and girls that you know, start organizing stuff, like hangouts for the group, like go to the movies, or go watch a sporting event together, or go bowling, or organize something at your house like a game night, doesn't matter just so …

This is my point, you've already stated that this whole rating thing is unimportant, so why are you wasting your time trying to make a standardized quantifiable rating system for something that is completely subjective to each individual. It's a fruitless endeavor that not only waste's your time but the people on this message board.
/r/seduction09/03/12 03:49 PM
2

My main point is that I believe people are giving high ratings too generously. Why is this so important to you? Don't you think that you have your priorities in the wrong place/wrong mindset when you know that this is a fruitless endeavor yet you still feel the need to come up with a system for rating women. Let me ask you this, how does this help you attract women? The answer is, it doesn't, it is simply an exercise in mental masturbation which puts you in the sphere of those AFCs who put women…

Here's an article I wrote awhile back that has gotten and still gets considerable attention from the seduction community. And while I freely admit that the science is lacking, I do cite several research experiments which help to back the no-fap hypothesis. This and the tons and tons of anecdotal evidence from guys who have quit or cut back fapping is compelling enough for most people to at least give it a try, after all, it's not gonna kill ya to quit porn for a week or two.

I know and the fact that a post about waiting for years until a girl confesses her interest is getting upvotes baffles me. It adds no value or advice to this community. This is the type of thing that would be in r/relationship_advice

Fantastic read and love how the "scraping by" concept really puts into perspective what most new guys are probably going through, I know looking back that I was most certainly scrapping by while trying to learn this stuff. Definitely more direct now with more initiative which is soooo much more efficient game. One question, do you think that using the phrase "I want" could also be construed a neediness?

Right, and I understand that, but the OP's post seems as if he's trying to tell us of some sort of break-through in seduction, the whole "it's right under your nose thing," when I'm saying that he should recognize why this IS NOT seduction but him "getting lucky." Again, not trying to be a dick to the OP, and I will give him a break since we've all been there before, but since this subreddit is about discussing seduction topics, I thought it'd make sense to do so.

It's about having options. You don't have to sleep around, but you should be meeting and dating enough women that you can eventually find the best girl to have a relationship with. The more options you have, the more likely you'll find the right girl for you. Don't settle.

Wait, you said that you have been digging this chick for the past 4 years but also say you were oblivious? Why didn't you do something 4 years ago when you were first attracted to her? Like you said, it's not about the actual line, but the air of confidence displayed while saying the line. There have been guys who have gotten laid of off saying the stupidest shit, like "I like salad" that really show that seduction is more about confidence, body language, eye contact, tonality, etc.

To be clear, "The Game" isn't a how-to manual, it's more of a story which describes the process of someone becoming a good pick-up artist. There are some concepts described in it and it is definitely worth reading, but should be considered as an introductory to the seduction community.

A lot of people have mentioned eye contact and smiling which is definitely a good indicator of interest, but for me the biggest thing is how easy the physical approach is, that is the ease at which I can be standing within talking distance and get a conversation going. So the best thing you can do is remove all obstacles that would deter a guy from approaching like: Decrease the physical distance between you and the guy(s) you're interested in; stand right next to them rather than being on the o…

I know it's just semantics but I don't consider the simple, "Hi" approach as direct, since it doesn't imply sexual interest right away. That's the difference between an Indirect and direct opener, is whether or not you make it known that you are sexually interested, or at least attracted to her. It has nothing to do with how simple the opener is. Not a big deal, but thought I'd point that out. I disagree, but it may just be over semantics. I think that our actions in life define who we are, therefore would it not be true that creating new actions in your life, create a new you? I agree that doing nothing and having a lazy weekend is definitely nice to have, especially for us introverts who like to recharge our batteries. However, this is not the point of the original article, the point was how you respond to the questions of what you are doing or did for the weekend and it was the author's intent that your response should not be the boring "uh, nothing" but rather something more exciting. Her boyfriend is her problem, not yours. I fully agree. I never understood why some people think that single men or even women have some responsibility to steer clear of people in a relationship. In my opinion, the onus on someone staying committed to their relationship is on that person in the relationship. If a person in a relationship isn't faithful then it's not the fault of the single person; it's clear that the problem was in the relationship.

Yea pretty much, but your stage directing needs to be much more pronounced with shy girls. Conversely, when dealing with more assertive girls, guys sometimes get lucky and the girl will handle some of the logistics or make some moves of her own, where as with a shy girl, you're pretty much calling ALL of the shots.
/r/seduction12/11/10 05:05 PM

I don't think it's safe to assume that the reason girls are shy is because they don't want to get hurt, I think that most shy girls are shy because they are simply introverted, the same as shy guys. In addition, it also seems presumptuous that a shy girl wouldn't be ok with a ONS and are only seeking a LTR. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but it just seems like you are casting your own personal feelings on dating/relationships on to ALL shy girls.

This probably calls for a good old fashioned "freeze out," in which you cut off all physical contact between you two. This especially includes things like cuddling and her gratifying you. If she asks what's wrong, tell her your just not ready yet. She'll get the hint, reverse psychology and all.

I've recently started seeing a very shy girl, like yours and have quickly realized that the only way to get anywhere is to call all the shots. Clearly your own strategy isn't working.

It's funny but a little too gimicky and don't really see it as being a seductive costume especially with the child thing. Though I think if you went as Jesus it could be a big hit, what girl wouldn't want to hook-up with the J-man!

Good idea, I was meaning to start a discussion on seductive male costumes. I think if you stick to the typical sexual male stereotypes that most women fantasize about: Cowboys Rockstars Pirates (i.e. - Jack Sparrow, Dread Pirate Roberts) Vampires (i.e True Blood, not Twilight unless in your teens) Hugh Hefner - it's tried, true and easy Pimp - same theory as Hef but more extravagant Sexy Fireman or pretty much anything in a good uniform Avoid wearing: Full mask or anything that fully hides face,…

Right, it's mostly targeted to those with a chronic masturbation and porn addiction. Though I think some masturbation is fine every once in awhile, a big problem a lot of guys have is the unnatural sexual stimulus created by porn. I think if guys just cut out porn all together, they'd find that their masturbation habits will naturally decrease and hopefully lead to more balanced hormones and more motivation to get out there and be social.

So by this same logic, if a man in a relationship sleeps with a single woman and she knows he has a girlfriend/wife, then the fault is on the single woman, correct? In my opinion, the onus not to cheat/honor the relationship is on the person in the relationship, not on the single person.

As fellow short guy (5'4), I've tried the long-hair thing and found that it was far less attractive and less flattering related to my height than when it was short or medium. I think too long hair on shorter guys just accentuates the problem and that you're better off with perhaps a stylish medium length cut. Edit: also you may want to ask r/malefashionadvice ------>

There's a difference between being a social and friendly guy and a guy who is seductive. You got the approach and conversational stuff down fine, but you need to escalate, throw in a Statement of Intent, increase kino, move conversation towards sexual topics, isolate, go for the kiss. Right now you're playing it safe, it's time to man-up and take some risks. As Style infamously said: "To get a woman, you have to be willing to risk losing her."

It's easier to get out of than the first reason, but still problematic since the girl is probably moving on to a different dude since the first one wasn't catching her signals. It's better to simply learn how to recognize IOIs and then react accordingly to them with a statement of intent.

Most guys get put in the friend zone for either two likely reasons: They exhibit needy or supplication type behavior, i.e. trying too hard, not challenging, etc. The girl is interested, has given the signals, yet you have not reciprocated your sexual interest in her, basically failing to give a statement of intent, thus she gets bored waiting for you to make a move and whammo - Friend Zone! For college parties, you want to be the guy having all the fun while teasing and flirting with the various…

You can't help but think to yourself, "bad move dude, you could've had her." Then you think, "oh shit, that's what I look like when I'm drunk!"

How would you change your game when working on taller girls? The same as smaller girls. I'm 5'4 and had struggled with it for a long time, and eventually found it's best if you just not even think about it, make it a non-issue. If you see a taller girl, proceed to game as usual.
/r/seduction19/10/10 06:17 PM

Also, if it helps, making changes gradually will be less of a disruption to your social circle (not that it should matter) but it's far easier to gradually make small changes every once in awhile to ease into your new identity, rather than having the shock and awe of an extreme makeover approach.

Great post and I agree. This is especially true for those male virgins out there who are waiting for the "right girl." The best thing you can do as a virgin (assuming you want to lose it) is to lower your standards and chalk those first few times up as practice. This is something that's been sitting in the back of my head for quite some time now and I think Assanova really hits the nail on the head with this post. A lot of times, the verbal game that many of the PUAs teach is really shooting ourselves in the foot, and those off chances that you do hook-up by using a routine or canned opener is not because of those lines, but despite those lines. I think seduction needs to move to a more simplified process in which it's less modular, a la Mystery Method,…

The title of the article is misleading and the actual research paper mentions men who ejaculate frequently have a lower chance of prostrate cancer, so it's not just about masturbation. Ideally, what we want is to ejaculate with an actual real life woman 5 times a week rather than fapping to a computer screen.
/r/seduction20/09/10 02:21 PM

whats the difference to your body between masturbating and sex? Exactly, when you masturbate you're creating a false reward which tricks your body into thinking you've had intercourse when in fact you haven't. Thus, your body gets into the habit of masturbation along with other beta male behavior as opposed to the guy who doesn't masturbate and trains his behavior to pursue and attract desirable females.

Yes, I've done a lot research on this myself and from what I've seen there is a lot of evidence that suggest that excessive masturbation causes a depletion in certain hormones and can cause things like social anxiety and depression, basically behavior that doesn't get you laid. I've written a more in depth article on the subject here. If you think about it, it's only been until recently (in the last decade) that porn has become so readily accessible. Flirting = Playful Teasing Teasing girls is the best form of flirting and also the easiest. You just make fun of them in a playful way (not insulting) but in a sarcastic cocky funny way. This is tried and true and has been a staple of seduction since the whole thing started. It might be beneficial to observe other guys who are attracting women in this way to get an idea of how it's done.

Lately I've been using my Attraction Triangle Routine which leads the conversation into discussions on relationships and dating. From here, if she's getting in to the conversation, you can start throwing more sexual stuff, like playing the Marry, Fuck, Kill game, etc.

This is little tricky and think more details are needed. Did she ask you to the movies or did you ask her, how did this initiate? To me the whole thing sounds like she has you either as an orbiter friend or as the Plan B boyfriend (i.e. - has you on the back burner). The question is, do you really want to be some girl's contingency boyfriend??
/r/seduction28/05/10 06:43 PM

It sounds like you need more interesting material/things to talk about that will lead the conversation into sexual tension territory. This is where having routines or a few of your own stories to bring up in conversation is so important. You keep the conversation flowing in a way that it's heading towards the topic of sex.

I'd say all of them have close to equal chances of "being good with women." Here's my reasoning. Most guys clean up really well; they can work-out, get a good style, good body language, good grooming, etc. Also, female to male attraction composes a good portion of other characteristics aside from looks like status, social dominance, personality, sexuality, etc. In addition, I've seen plenty of good looking guys who struggle with women and also seen plenty of average guys get lots of women. So re…

Of course, now that you're reverting away from your prize mentality, it's no wonder that it's going downhill, she doesn't feel the challenge to keep you. The trick is to become the challenging prize again. The fact that you are worrying about losing her is probably why she's becoming disinterested. Make her worry about losing you. I'm not saying that these won't get attention and that people won't be amused by them. What I'm trying to say is that they won't build attraction in a seductive way for a particular target. Lazy Girls They never want to do anything; whether it be going out to socialize, going on exotic vacations, being active or simply trying new things like a different restaurant or seeing a new band. Juggler from Charisma Arts is a big advocate of using the SOI and he usually recommends simply telling a girl that she is "sexy." One of the lines I usually say goes like this: "You know, you're kinda cute... but not cute like puppy dogs and ice cream cute, you have that sexy cute going on. You remind of the reserved girl next door type, but underneath it all I bet you're a sexual dynamo." This works great because not only is it a SOI, but it's also a truism in which you show that you "get her."…

For me, the biggest part of game is what's called making an SOI "statement of intent," or essentially showing a girl that you're interested in her sexually and not just as a friend. During my AFC days, my biggest problem wasn't so much meeting girls but actually escalating with them to next level, whether that be sexual or simply to the point of regular dating. I ended up befriending so many women that all my guy friends were astounded that I couldn't get a girlfriend, just from the odds alone o…

When a guy tells a girl that "he just wants to be friends," then he usually means it, as most guys wouldn't even think about putting themselves in the "friendzone" on purpose if he really wanted to sleep with you. My guess is that perhaps the one bed bedroom was cheaper or that's all he could get or some other thing reason. Best to just go with the flow and see what happens. If he's being overly sexual and flirty with you then perhaps he's down to fuck, which in that case just proceed as normal.…

I think this thread will be counter productive to most aspiring puas for the simple fact that it will be major information overload. Learning seduction doesn't work like that. You need to learn and then PRACTICE small pieces at a time in order to internalize those aspects of game. In addition, I think a big problem with most people learning game is that they think they need to learn every guru's system. The problem is they don't follow and practice one particular system from beginning to end; th…

Right, you are talking about a placebo effect and if that's the reason it works than that's fine to. However, if you don't think that ejaculation changes the hormone levels in one's body than that's nuts. There is definitely enough evidence to show that after an ejaculation there are lower levels of testosterone, dopamine, zinc, etc. These are all things that have been shown to effect a person's emotional state.
/r/seduction16/04/10 03:37 PM

How can you say it has no effect on testosterone and other hormones?! There have been a bunch of credible research studies that show there is indeed an effect.
/r/seduction16/04/10 03:31 PM

I beg to differ. When you ejaculate all kinds of hormones and nutrients are depleted/used such as testosterone, dopamine, zinc, etc. These are all important in regulating many parts of your body and mind. By ejaculating through masturbation on a regular basis you wasting your sexual energy when it could otherwise be re-directed toward real women. I challenge any guy who regularly wanks to go a full week without masturbating and see what that does to his willingness to approach and meet women.

Yea, I'm originally from a small town so I know how little options there are. I wouldn't recommend pursuing girls with boyfriends because the risks of people finding out are much higher since everyone knows everyone and everything that's going on in a small town. I've noticed that a lot of guys from small towns who get into the seduction lifestyle usually end up moving to a big city. Not only are the women more plentiful but the lifestyle is much more conducive to moving on up in the world. Exam…

Oh man, definitely don't jack off before a date or even before going out sarging. I've done extensive research on this and am actually in the middle of writing a paper on the effect of extensive masturbation and porn on a males dating life. You raise an interesting observation, though I don't think the actual quantity of attractive women one sees in the day is the point of the post. The point Roissy is getting at is that whenever you see an attractive girl you should do something about it, regardless of whether you live in a small town and only see one attractive girl or if you live in a large city and see 100 attractive girls. You don't wan't to let the opportunity of that moment go wasted.

If you read this guys reply to the comment I left him, he says that this actually happened five months ago and has since moved on to have a relationship with another girl. So I think we need to get over ourselves here and stop trying to fix random people who either don't want the advice of the seduction community or don't need it (they are already in a good relationship with someone).
/r/seduction14/04/10 08:15 PM

So many guys get caught up on approaching and which openers to use but really, as this blog post demonstrates, the simple act of opening your mouth to say something as benign as "hi" to every attractive girl you encounter will do wonders for your game.

Showing empathy with a woman is part of building comfort and creating rapport, so yes it is a useful skill. However, you must be careful not to simply become a woman's emotional tampon and become her male "friend" who's shoulder she can cry on when some alpha just pumped and dumped her.

Really? I don't think it's try hard at all nor does it imply a needy "date me" as you suggest, in fact, it's pretty much a passive statement, as if you are disregarding her criticizing and re-framing the situation. I don't think getting her on the defensive is smart either, as this will only cause her to think about it more, when really you want to simply get off the subject. This response passes her shit test in a passive way, while allowing you to move on to the next thread.

Also he uses a lot of acronyms, so for anyone who is confused: EC=Eye Contact, BL=Body Language, IOI=Indicator of Interest, AR=Awareness Radius, HSE=High Self Esteem, LSE=Low Self Esteem, AFC=Average Frustrated Chump, AI=Approach Invitation, HQ=High Quality, DHV=Demonstration of Higher Value, SOI=Statement of Intent

Why are you opening with a compliment? The results you are getting is because you are not opening properly with something that can easily get a conversation going. Even if you don't want to memorize an opener, you're still better off with something like an open ended question or asking her opinion on something. There's a good reason why so many pua's have openers that start with, "I need a female opinion on..."

I believe LA Phil is 5'6 so probably not the world's shortest PUA. I believe Neil Strauss (Style) was 5'6 as well. There is/was a bunch of shorter guys that work for Love Systems like Cajun (5'6 I think) and Mr. M who is 5'5. Heck I'm 5'4 myself, not that I claim to be a great PUA or anything, but I've done alright. Shit, there's even one guy on FastSeduction who is like 5'2 who seems to be making some pretty big strides.

Some common sense stuff but good to keep in mind, as I think most men neglect simple things like buying thin condoms, getting the right size, etc. Never heard about putting lube on before the condom though, so that's a new one for me, I'll have to give it shot. I assume the reason to care about how it tastes is in case you are getting a BJ with your condom on, but that seems to be a rarity in my opinion, am I wrong on this?

I don't play with men or break their hearts, I don't even play games. You don't seem to want to admit it, but you ARE playing games with this guy, you just don't realize it. If it wasn't a game, then you wouldn't be on here asking how to pick him up. If you weren't playing games then you would really be honest and simply say to him, "I admit it, I was being a bitch. The name is definitely badass, but I doubt trying to convey the following traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy; will do us any good in the long run and likely be quite damaging to our social lives. Though those three have been shown to create attraction, it is only initially and tends to wear off after a short period once it clicks in peoples brains that your a complete nut job. I think that in less developed countries, basic survival instincts matter more than in a developed country like the U.S. Hence, the female "need" for a more manly macho man is higher in countries where she is more likely where those traits come in handy. In the U.S., an alpha male can get away with being a pretty boy because the female is more independent and might already have the security she would otherwise get from a more masculine male.

No probably not the only three things but those three are pretty broad characteristics that can encompass many attributes. I think things you mention like: career, financial stability would fall under the "intelligence" category and social skills, hobbies, etc might fall under "emotional stability." I'll admit the chart isn't exactly scientific, but the point of the original survey was to simply see what the average man and woman would prioritize if they were forced to make a choice. Sorry, I guess I was too hasty and misinterpreted your post, because we seem to be on the same page, so my apologies. In seduction community parlance this has a lot to do with being "congruent" and having self identity. However, FTA: "being true to yourself doesn't mean that you should accept all of your flaws and not try to make positive changes in your life. The principles of attraction are needed regardless of whether you are looking for one night stands or a long term relationship. You say that seduction routines and techniques aren't for you, but look around at all the natural alpha males you know in a solid long term relationship; chances are they are telling the same funny stories all the time, using the same one liners, and always using similar body language. The thing is, yea, there are parts of the "Game" that seem really silly, but the poin…

Hmmm, I almost get the vibe that in your interactions you might be exhibiting that you are trying too hard to get people to be enthralled by you. So in a sense, what isn't working, might be the act of trying to get attention, does that sound right? The art of seduction is about looking like an alpha male without having to try at all. I think you handled the situation well. Basically, if you get called out on using "material" from The Game or on being a PUA then it seems best to just make light of the situation or blow it off. I have gotten into a debate before with a girl at a bar over the reality show "The Pick Up Artist" and when explained in a way to show her it was more about self improvement than manipulation, then it was more understandable.

The point of online dating isn't to run game, the point to online dating sites should simply be to get your foot in the door so to speak, to get the real life meet-up where you really run game. The biggest trick to meeting women online has more to do with what you don't do, than what type of "game" you run. Basically, it's better to appear like an average NORMAL guy who she will feel safe meeting in real life. Check out the following site for some tips on things to do for online: http://onlineda…

Normally I would say that the big problem for most guys that get stuck in the "friend zone" is not escalating sexually, like never going for the kiss or giving a statement of intent. However, it looks like in this case you've gotten the make-out so the "intent of sexual interest" is made, which means the problem likely lies in her comfort level with you. Basically, you've gotten enough attraction to get the one time make-out and digits but the next day she gets buyers remorse. The two pieces of …

I've followed the 30 day challenge format back when it was first introduced by Neil in 2007 (i think). It was basically all online with an initial community of several hundred dudes, which he basically transfered the main concept into the book later on. It's definitely a solid format for learning pick-up/seduction and will likely do what it promises, get you a date, assuming you actually stick to the plan and follow it through for the 30 days.
