Thank you for this post! I know it’s not going to speak to everyone and that’s ok. I had a similar upbringing in that you’ll have more opportunities if you are at your best, most fit, and most elegant, while observing proper etiquette. Now… I severely broke the china plate by being leg, arm & back sleeved with tattoos. However, that’s just the norm now, kind of. Trendy I guess. People trust and offer opportunities to attractive people. They see what they wish they were in them. They see what oth…

I agree, in many cases women are happier alone than in a relationship. It’s a hard one to ponder because sometimes experience helps to know what one needs. Thank you for sharing that. It’s really important to say you are in the best relationship you’ve been in but it’s still settling. I think many of us have been there. I totally agree I’m more productive alone. Only focused in myself & advancing. I’m grateful for this conversation and that other young women can use it to make decisions.

Do you you think a woman would be put at a disadvantage if she has never dated and has no idea what to expect? She’s grown her career and moved country. Has assets but no idea how men act, what she likes, what makes her happy? I don’t think dating is bad. Being alone forever with your money is great, but not everyone wants that. It’s hard to find a truly lovable man, but when you do, it’s wonderful. I’d say allowing yourself to search for an honorable man outside your comfort zone and zip code i…

Oh ha! Well I’d definitely describe myself as that with certain things. Mostly with music and scents. I can somehow have emit memories attached to them that it takes me a long time to remember. Things I smelled or heard even under 5 yo, the feeling of that moment comes back very strong.

This is good advice. I’d even say many songs are actually damaging love songs without even being sad songs. I’ve distanced myself from music lately. Mostly because songs get stuck in my head and assault me while I try to sleep. But then I realized my favorite songs from my favorite 50s, 60s, 70s artists are promoting things that are not ok emotionally regarding relationships. Music is so emotional to me, right up there with scents. The music attached to visuals in movies and tv shows are very em…

Not easy to explain because in this context ego has 2 definitions. It’s also an overused term in esotericism. I’ll try my best. When using psychedelics they “dissolve the ego” instead of feeling fiercely connected mostly to yourself, you realize how much more there is to yourself that you did not know. You feel more connected to and empathy for everything other than you. It’s a good thing. So in this context “ego” means the feeling of being yourself that you are used to. So when the “ego” is inf…

Also, on my theory about psychedelics effecting people with personality disorders differently. I can say there is scientific proof that SSRI medication reduces the effects of psychedelics and sometimes causes a negative reaction. I don’t have a link to the study so please no one come at me. That is why in ayahuasca ceremonies they suggest the person stop taking this medication for 2 weeks before. Thank you for posting this! Toxic positivity is so real, and thrust upon women heavily. The way woke bros use it is more like asking you to preemptively gaslight yourself. “Act happy while I make you suffer. Never ever mention that my behavior effects you negatively” um… no thanks. We will be over here happily having boundaries.

Yes I feel this! I’ve personally experienced it with men who are into self improvement and spiritually. It inflates their ego insufferably. They feel like philosopher, using the words of wiser people who probably also had an inflated ego. They want to be impressive. They aren’t excited to know a woman can keep up with their “oh so enlightened state of being” If you do end up with one, every rational criticism you have of their behavior is met with YOU not being in the high and enlightened plain …

Oh! I’ll go. Another baby trap story for this post! I was a kid, 22. Dated a man 10 years older (ugh) who worked in the kitchen of the restaurant I served at while in college. He told me he was infertile and spoke of it often as he was very torn up he’d never have his own children. Thank you for that well thought out reply. Our reactions to it and the propaganda pushed to normalize it does show it is not natural. I feel more and more women are completely changing their view of what’s acceptable and mor instinctively spotting men we should not allow into our orbit at all. We can only controls and change ourselves. If enough of us grow and change how we interact I think there is some hope of change.

Totally agree that women should not give up reproductive freedom & control. I think I’m am a minority though a growing one. Men are a factor in me not wanting to have them but not the only one. I’m very supportive of women who do want them. I believe the new generation of women will help create a much better society of future humans But I’m so so glad that I was able to choose a permanent solution.

Aw god. Watched a few minutes and it is all the way fd up that there is such a market for this. Not surprising but usually don’t hear it talked about so candidly. Kind of like the first hostile movie but about kids. It seems like this is in places where abortion is not legal. I just don’t know what to say about it. I think most of the feelings men have about sex and human life are abnormal.

Yes this is exactly what I am saying. Our sexual appetite, no matter how insatiable, has not led us to be predatory. 99.9 % of us anyway. There are always endless men any woman can have regardless of beauty or youth. Even men a woman could physically overpower. None of these things drive us, most of us to accept or take it. Especially because random encounters do not usually lead to orgasm in women.

This is gold! I’m a writer and your text reads like the academic papers I research for my work. After what you said I now remember a doc I watched about an African area that force fed women from childhood and sent them away from the village before arranged marriage. In these camps they would be fed lard mixed with grain all day long, as that was the most fattening combination. The reason being, thinness was associated with poverty and not being able to afford food. The men were most attracted to…

Yes it is very often brothers and cousins. Also often moms boyfriend or stepdad (3 different men over 2 women in my sibling group) pedophelia may be less prevalent but males preying on any female in their orbit is not rare. Not rare at all. I should have said 1/4 women and girls. I just don’t think men or boys have access to 20-100 women or girls to do these things to even in a lifetime without killing them. Sorry mate, as much as I agree with your point, women have been conditioned to do this. It’s sic and sad and soul crushing. However, we can’t classify women as beyond help because they are doing what we were all conditioned to do from birth. I get it. Pick me is awe full. I can’t either. And as a child, I couldn’t imagine anything but what was shown to me. God I wish something, someone, anything, any piece of non submissive feminine media had gotten to me before my first male experience at 13. All I knew was, (from media) life is doomed until a man loves you. To get a man to love you, you have sex. The sex goes from platonic friendship to PIV sex in 3 seconds. Woman has orgasm 3 seconds after that. Loving relationship forever. I followed that very flawed script f…

Media is and has been made by men and for men. Then rated and critiqued by men. There is a reason for the fervent exclusion of women. They are terrified of a woman being allowed to be seen as more than a sex object who has to fawn for male attention. This is why female positions in media are 1/2 of 1% representation. If women are making media, women will be shown in power. That is more powerful than anything that can be done after the damage has set in for a young girl. Disney fd us up. Everythi…

That was my post and I’m in no way saying we shouldn’t discuss media. It is one of the most influential things in our society after all. I completely agree with you. It’s all propaganda and most of it is curated. It all illuminates harmful agendas and is meant to groom us. Calling it out and discussing it is important and relevant. It’s also important to realize reality tv is far from reality and that it IS seen as reality by so many. There is such a huge difference in how we discuss known scrip…

I can see that the shows make the red flags so damn red because the entertainment value is in making the entire plot a red flag. If they are able to help someone spot red flags that’s awesome. I’d be amazed if anyone could find a green one. I’m not sure if they even would have said anything if they’d seen? I wonder what the protocol is for that. He was trying to hide it. He didn’t know anyone could see. He took great pains to hide it when someone stood up.

Weird to even notice that right? It wasn’t as blunt as the Mormon “keep sweet” mantra, but it was always there. We are humans, we are not required to be a joy.

Completely agree! I am the same and absolutely need time to recharge after social interaction. I also don’t become instant best friends with every stranger I’m thrown into a prolonged interaction with. I used to feel strange that I wasn’t able to entertain and interact explosively with strangers. I had to examine that within myself and others. That part of me is not me being an introvert. That part of me was being conditioned as a woman to be a joy to everyone. I felt as though I’d failed when I…

The introvert/extrovert thing is something I think is misinterpreted a lot. Not that you are. Most humans don’t usually have rolling and enthralling conversations upon first meeting each other without an anchor person present that they do know. Someone who isn’t immediately interactive for a 1 on 1 with a stranger isn’t an introvert. They are completely normal. Interest and common ground to speak on takes time. That’s why meeting ppl on OLD feels weird AF. All that to say. If you are a butterfly…

Exactly this! The “shedding” my god. They are abusing women and their families into not being vaxd. Women I know who have not gotten it because of fear of loosing everything are even being accused of getting it behind the mans back when they get sick. This situation is truly showing the testerical nature of a large population of men who flew under the radar before.

For most I do not think it’s a religious thing. The men are deeply influenced by the misinformation they’ve been able to find. I do not know why they believe it so fervently. But so many REALLY do. From mind control to infertility and everything in between. I get that the government and media has proved they aren’t truthful much of the time. That’s unfortunate in this situation. I think the anti of this specific vax is a high horse men are, for some reason wanting to wield over their family. Edi…

CF sterilized young woman here! HV treatment means respectful, equal, loyal, honest, effort and deeply romantic connection. Everyone deserves that in a relationship. Men are just usually the only ones receiving that in a het relationship. We are used to extreme disrespect, so the above may feel like asking for the moon. Hardships don’t buy anyone those things. I know there are several schools of thought on performing femininity here. I kind of agree with all of them. I’m not happy that I feel I have too, but I also really enjoy looking good. I enjoy the social and career benefits I receive from doing it. I love dressing up around other people who have put in effort and to be able to enjoy their expression. There’s a lot for us all to unpack surrounding that. But I agree that it’s like art. On a date I think it’s important for us to have an opportunity…

There needs to be a word for the opposite of infantilism. I’m sure there is. That is what is done to young girls. I think that trauma reaches back to childhood for most of us who don’t consider the experience traumatic. I started feeling too fat around age 8. I can’t believe as many women have children as they do. It’s just common knowledge, no matter the generation, that the sperm donor will not be sacrificing anything. My reasons for even considering marriage are purely self serving. If I grow my wealth with a man and we have property together, what happens when he dies? If you’re in love, I don’t think what you’re looking for is possible. Of course you’re going to be effected. What you’re describing is how sociopaths with no emotions operate. I see the allure, but if you aren’t suffering from a personality disorder, you’ll feel things. The only work around I’ve seen is women who commit to men they love but aren’t in love with because of this risk. My mother did it. He checked all the boxes and most of all adores her. He loves the most in the relationship. He wo…

The biggest tell on if your needs will EVER be met in a relationship is how a man reacts to a problem WHEN THE PROBLEM IS HIM. He just told you every man is going to treat you just as shitty as he does, so lower your standards. He also told you he doesn’t care in any way to change his hurtful behavior and that he’s rather loose you than not eye fuck strangers. Not trying to be alarmist, but this man is going to emotionally abuse you. You will never ever be able to set a boundary or ask for what …

Well that would be a red flag for me and I’d probably pass on the man. I don’t buy a tee shirt on amazon without knowing others experiences. I trust women and would hope if they were abused they would help another not be. A simple hello is there anything dangerous I should know about Is something I’d answer. The risk is too great to go in blindly.

Trash talking an ex is one of the ways abusive men like you into a false sense of safety “not threatened” by them because they’re just so horrible right? Talking about them all the time is a way abusers triangulate a new person into jumping through hoops trying to get picked. I personally will be needing to speak to any future partners ex for an honest review before allowing him into my life. If she has horrible things to say and is telling the truth, well that’s what you have to look forward to…

Please ladies do not consider cleaning after him a wife benefit! That is extremely problematic and gets old super quick. Get ready to hate his guts a year in if you clean up and cook for a man. This shit has to be equal even if you’re a SAHM. Wife does not equal mom. That is never a wife benefit. Edit: my queen mom didn’t even do these things for me or my brother. We did them for our selves. Slave is what I meant, not mom.

I’m my younger years I had LTR with 2 men who would be considered unattractive. The pickme in me thought he’d feel lucky to have me and treat me well. They were both abusive and absolutely horrible. I have never had an attractive man treat me badly. I think this logic is spread by both men and women and it’s absolutely false. The worst thing about short men is how abusive they are because of their short man insecurities. I’d love to have the man I love be 6’ but aesthetically it was never a deal breaker. I didn’t even care. But you know who did care, the damn 5’9” abuser who ruined my life. The ferocious way short men act to compensate for their perceived inferiority is frightening. To me, shorter dudes aren’t unattractive. Short dudes are dangerous to our mental health. Far higher chance of being abusive.

Spot on. Italian fingertip kiss. I love how much and how eloquently we are talking about having children with men lately. You put into words exactly how I imagined feeling if I’d had a child. The woman is faced with the reality on the deep Inequality. When the child comes it is criminal the low effort most men perform. The sex goes because every day, the hate seed of injustice grows. Breaking mom makes me hurt for women. I live in the south and the women here don’t even bitch about the low effort and usury of their NVM . It’s all these women have ever known. Just as long as they’re not being hit and don’t know they’re being cheated on, it’s A Ok. This is why I’m child free. It’s so hard for them to escape the abuse and being used. Men having children makes them jump to a new level of audacity when it comes to sucking the blood of a woman.

Maybe explore why you feel that way. Could it be a gut feeling? Are you subconsciously picking up that you are not safe in this relationship? It may be a you problem, you may be insecure, but I think many women feel this way in relationships because we know exactly what our mates are capable of. It really is dehumanizing. I also forgot to mention awful things that happen when we say we’re not interested. I was once followed home and beaten so badly I couldn’t walk for 3 months for turning down an aggressive older mans advances. That’s obviously not the norm but it happens. Every time a man cold approaches, he puts it on you to save his ego from the crime of your no. The danger women are in when not accepting advances is high. I’m so tired of hearing how these poor men are trying to avoid getting used for free food. Who the fuck puts themselves in that kind of situation for a meal? That can’t possibly happen often enough for men to have this blanket agreement of no real first dates. I think they mean “I kept buying women food and they didn’t fuck me after that one single time meeting them! They used me!!! Never again!”

That is a great point that in times past, women would have many suitors. My issue would come in at us both having “platonic” dinner dates. How are you able to tell his dates don’t involve intimacy? How are you ever to know someone’s real intentions? I feel like that arrangement would have a high chance of devolving into an implied open relationship in the mans view. I like the productive jealousy/mate guarding. I’m just not sure I could trust a man to not abuse this arrangement.
