The answer is yes but it's a bit complicated.

Firstly here's the sort of generic answer for, "hey do MRAs support my minority group?"

Since MRAs are for equality generally, I would expect that most would (on an individual basis) support equal rights for XXX. However the movement as a whole doesn't talk about other minority groups' issues, the way that eg feminists all pretend to. If there's an issue that effects discrimination on the grounds of sex and also XXX then that would be addressed by MRAs.

But for transsexuals there's an extra twist because it's not particularly clear what a "male" or "female" transsexual is. Now I don't mean that it's not clear how they identify. That is clear, OK. What I mean is that in a situation where let's say MTF transsexuals are discriminated against as compared to FTM transsexuals, then it is not clear if this is an issue of discrimination against men (because the MTF transsexual is being seen as "just a man" even though they identify as a woman) or of discrimination against women.

I guess I'd say it's often discrimination against men but discrimination against a woman, if that makes sense?

Therefore in my opinion, even though they are women, MTF transsexuals ought to be fully supported by the men's rights movement, because their issues stem from discrimination against men in combination with people (eg feminists) denying their sexual identity.

Yeah they don't think MTFs are MRA, they just think they are male. To a feminist that's the real crime. Feminism has a long history with this "womyn born womyn" crap. It's actually a lot better than it used to be. That movement loves to co-opt any group that is popularly supported so in a sense their changing attitude indicates you made it into the category of seen as legitimate minority group (congratulations). They used to hate gay people to, back in the 70s. and blacks back in the 1870s.

And when they say, "taking over female space" that's a rape reference. They're saying MTFs are rapists. It's usually "inserting themselves into female spaces", wink wink.

It's fucking disgusting.

But they do it a lot less these days than they did 20 years ago.

Because well it's complicated like most things in life your dealing with civil rights, biology, sociology, psycology, ethics, philosophy, theology, and a host of other ideologies. There are a few societies that see it as a third-gender or "other" group that make it work from what I know.

I do know I want transexuals to be equal before the law like everyone else. Becasue America is a nation of laws, I see some troubling signs with political activism in the transexual community, that run counter to equality for all. Also a lot of the vocal voices in the transexual community are very off putting and diminish my sympathy and willingness to help. The whole die cis scum thing, and the bastardization of the word cis by SJW did the movment no favors IMHO.

Transgendered is a fairly broad term. At its most basic level; expression of ones gender identity, is fairly easy to support and I do. However people who go through costly, lengthy, dangerous, and not necessarily effective surgery just because they don't feel comfortable in heir on skin is a bit disingenuous. I don't agree with men or women who feel the need for implants, rhinoplasty, liposuction, etc., for entirely aesthetic reasons than I won't suddenly agree with it if one does it to their entire body. But that's just my opinion.

Just so long as they aren't bossy and telling me what to do. Most seem not to be though. It's just like anyone else.

People should be free to identify as whatever gender they want and enjoy the same rights as everyone else.

Anything outside of that is unacceptable.

In my experience this topic, loosely defined, has been the subject of some disagreement in these parts. Things can get a little heated. Generally the consensus does appear quite sympathetic to transgender rights. Feelings run high.

I don't. They made a choice to put themselves in that very small niche group. So don't expect people to accommodate a group just because you want to be different.
