Okay, first of all I won't link to it, but I will show the text. I don't want anyone here in the discussion but me, and its on a site most of you here probably have no relation to, so it would be like brigading if a whole bunch of random people started showing up to the topic. The topic in question that started this was about male rape jokes, and how they were wrong. And while most were a bit strong on not allowing jokes about rape at all, most were fairly civil in discussion and obviously cared about spreading the issue that rape is serious for guys too.

But then this came up....

Okay, so yeah. Please be gentle in a way, they (S and A) probably haven't heard anything about MRAs, and would likely think it a white supremacist group that hates women if they came over here out of the blue, but they obviously care about men in the case here, and are well meaning, so I don't want to push them about how feminism is so wrong on this or that issue, and how MRAs got it right. I don't value trying to convert them over from their interest group that they obviously put a lot of value in, and are not likely on the fence about leaving.

What I want to do though is discuss with them about how specifically men may not need feminism. How do I do this without any strong critical reactions from them? I'm more of an gentle debater at heart, and while aggressive posts are needed in some ridiculously sexist cases, as Paul Elam so plentifully does (probably to the point of excess), this is more a discussion of specific opinions to some people that have little idea about any of the things here about Men's Rights and Issues, just that equality of rights is a well meaning goal they think is good.
