I often hear and see a lot of anti-masculine and "Teach men not to rape" type stuff on TV and media in general. Yet if I avoid TV and media I very rarely actually see it playing out IRL. Anyone else?

I don't know of any guy that was taught to rape. Everyone knows rape is a crime, and men are taught to be civilized members of society.

So what is the real meaning of this phrase. That depends on who and what is defining "rape". Also why it's being said is important to understand. People trying to convince you or control you will introduce a generally reasonable idea (like rape is bad) and then tack on other ideas to it that are more questionable. You agree with the initial idea (rape is wrong), but that doesn't justify believing in the follow up ideas or philosophy behind the position the of propaganda instigator.

For example, Don't teach men to rape. I agree with not raping, seduce a woman or hire a professional woman if you want sex. However the follow up ideas coming after this that men are evil or chatting up women is wrong or being masculine is evil is the message they are selling.

It's like a classic bait and switch strategy. Get your hooked on one idea and then try to show how the rest of an agenda flows that.

That's because the average woman does not agree with third wave feminism. The fact is, most women WANT a man. Every anti sexual harassment movements like #metoo is 95% women bragging about how hawt they are because plenty of men want to fuck them BUT they are way under their SMV so it's perceived has harrassment. 4% of them are probably true victims but they were still looking for attention. 1% are the smart ones who went to the police because they were truly sexually harassed (i.e. some creep made repeated unwanted sexual advances in a long period of time).

I'm triggered. I've never experienced it in my existence. I was also a white manager accused of such doings and said party never made mention for me to stop what she considered harassment (which was me giving her a first bump on a couple of occasions). I even heard things when I was in frat leadership in college but every time under investigation it was a cry wolf situation.
