I do NOT stand in solidarity with Professor Miller-Young, she acted like an idiot.

But I've also seen these kinds of protesters on several college campuses before, and while "terroristic" is probably an exaggeration they are certainly scary and obnoxious and obscene. If Miller-Young had organized a counter-protest to surround them, obscure them and drown them out, as has been often done when those Westboro assholes come to town, I would have supported that. Honestly, I'm disappointed that the UCSB students didn't run them off campus right away.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I watched the video and I agree with her this time. Regardless of who she is, these so-called protesters got into her face really badly and they did everything they could to annoy her as much as possible. I would have punched them in the face a lot sooner than the professor snapped. That wasn't terrorism by a long shot but it was abuse, and she had the moral right to stop them abusing her.

So, the MRM should reevaluate its stance on this matter. It is disingenuous to say she attacked some peaceful protesters in an act of vandalism. I don't care if she's a feminist or not, we can't use lies like this if we want to keep our integrity. We should debunk their lies, not create our own.

Edit: their accusations of racism and whatnot are of course bullshit. Feminists are trying to use this to justify their agenda which is sad, but she was still justified in kicking the protesters asses for getting into the elevator with her and blocking the door, escorting her through the campus, violating her personal space, etc.
