It's written by a single Dad. I think the author meant it as a 'to other Dads from a Dad' type thing. I mean sure he could have used gender neutral language, but I think he was trying to reach out to other people in his position.

Yeah I see nothing wrong with this. Who cares of someone's dad told there kid to stfu and stay out of the way? At least he didn't beat him or anything.

I don't think any of what he said was meant to say only dads did this. He's just angry at a dad and that's why he addressed dads. He's also a father himself, which gives him more reason to speak toward dads specifically.
