Christ. MY last ex was fond of saying that she sorted the OKCupid entries by height, atheist tendency, and income; I was they only one who fit all her qualifications....

Both genders are judged by their looks.

It's just that women are judged more by things that can be changed (weight, clothing, breast size, etc) so there is more obvious examples to choose from.

Whereas men are judged by things they can't change (height, thickness of hair, jawline, etc) so there is more emphasis on living with and overcoming those issues.

Boo hoo no one takes you seriously because you're fat. You can become skinny if you work at it.

But tell the short guy who will never be president or CEO (based on the stats for both) to suck it up and just be taller.

Geez, there are some very shallow people out there. I'm only 170cm (5' 7"), so that sort of attitude really gets up my goat. If they want someone tall, fine but there is no need to advocate eugenics to solve their problem.

Actually, I don't think that there is a difference in hatred for the ugly in any gender, just the criteria differ, but not the percentage of assholes who use them as weapons against others.

Im only 5'8, my height is the primary reason I stopped trying to date. Having no luck, and getting laughed at on numerous occasions by women didn't help either. It sucks.

I used to lie about my height on there all the time. 6'0'' is the magic number. I leave my height unlisted now, but sometimes I play on easy mode. A lot of girls don't have the stones to call you out on it. I've had one girls call me out on it, but that's it. And she still fucked me. I just had to get my foot in the door :)
