As, I believe, everyone on this subreddit knows, father's rights are routinely trampled tens of thousands of times yearly in family law courts. These gynocentric courts, generally, operate from the "women are good, men are sketchy" perspective. Thousands of times a year women get custody on the flimsiest of claims. One common claim made very successfully by women is that they are the "primary caregivers" (no credit is given to dad for giving the mother this free time to caregive via his hard work in the rate race). Women often make this claim even with very young children (e.g. "I've been the primary caregiver the last year").

That is what interested me about the article linked below. The father was the ONLY caregiver for the first 3 1/2 years of the child's life. On top of that the mother is inept AND DANGEROUS. On top of that the child has a condition that could cause her to DIE if not receiving great parenting. In spite of all this, the court just decided to kiss the mother's arse and step all over the father's rights and all over his heart. Details here:
