In my view, the main issue is men refusing to form a team. Even on this subreddit (and I'm not talking about trolls), there is a significant amount of nitpicking, shaming, insulting, and generally unsupportive behavior. This among people that are supposed to be on the same team for God's (or Darwin's, take your pick) sake.

Intellectualizing and being about me, me, me can be somewhat helpful in generating interest in a movement. But, a movement will never get wings unless a large number of it's members develop a sense of loyalty to one another. Women have tremendous in-group bias. Feminists have an even greater in-groups bias. Men's Rights lacks that right now. I believe it will come, in time.

Man, now I feel like I have to make a disclaimer about this, just because there's quite a lot of feminists who lump us together.

Men's Rights Activists and Pick-Up Artists are not connected. PUAs are generally more likely to support the MRM simply because they take a step back and look at society itself, but other than that there's no connection between the two.

Nope. In fact, there shouldn't be a MR movement per se.

What there should be is men with agency, that are aware of the facts, that are not scared of having a mustache, men that don't let women control them, men that can hunt, punch, dance, cook, write, etc. men that are just that - men.
