Nursing Student here! Women and men display symptoms for heart attacks in considerably different fashion but even still women get a disproportionate amount of funding for every other area of health care so fucking wahhhhhhh!

It's just petty politics. When your discourse separates women as a group minority, you flock them up into giving you their vote or sympathy, without losing men's. Win-win.

Why would you need to fund research on heart disease specifically in women only? They don't even do that for men and men are the ones who suffer heart disease far more.
