Dictionary.com sure has some biases.

Misandry: hatred of males.

Misogyny: hatred, dislike, or distrust of women.

Where is the dislike and distrust? Also, does women equate to males?

Feminism: the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men. 2. an organized movement for the attainment of such rights for women.

Masculism: No results found for masculism

Oh, well isn't that nice?

Sexism: discrimination or devaluation based on a person's sex, as in restricted job opportunities; especially, such discrimination directed against women.

Genital mutilation: any type of cutting or removal of all or some of the genital organs, especially excision of the clitoris.

Especially, especially! When gender priority is written into the very definitions used to define it, well, I think there's a problem.

Dictionaries are mostly for the purpose of recording the usage of language and therefore it's fine for them to report that definition for double standard because that is indeed how it is used. Let's be pissed at society and focus on changing the definition by making people aware of men's issues.

These "especially" aspects of definitions are included to describe how they are most commonly used.

This is true - the phrase "double standard" has been most commonly used to describe principles that permit social behaviours in men while excluding similar behaviours in women.

Just because the times are changing and people are recognizing that the female-to-male version is also common doesn't negate the statistical fact that this is the most common usage.
