I subscribed to /r/mensrights several months ago when I saw an askreddit about it. One of you posted a very detailed and well written comment explaining the situation, a situation that I was completely unaware of. From that point, I decided I wanted to learn more and I joined your community.

Lately, however, I've been growing away from you guys. I see caustic vitriol being thrown at any comment or idea posted by women. I see hatred and malice towards women's rights activists and I believe this needs to stop.

We are suppose to be fighting for equality. When you aggressively insult feminists, you are only making them hate us more. They are not an enemy nor should they be the target of such hatred. There are issues with women's rights and both men's rights. We should be approaching this from a rationally and diplomatically. We should be trying to make allies rather than attacking those who could help us.
