I don't think we should be commenting or praising comments on situations we know nothing about. The first poster might be inaccurate but surely we consider the second poster to be offensive. For one thing, I hope most people here don't resort to calling women whores.

I've come to a similar conclusion with this image.

If her "rapist" doesn't know he's a rapist, then he didn't rape her. Mens Rea means something. The board screams "I had something to drink so I'm not responsible for my bad decisions"

And if you're not willing to tell a woman "You made a bad decision, live with it" then equality doesn't have a chance.

By the best estimate, somewhere between 8% and 41% of rape claims are false. That means this woman is most likely telling the truth. But we know nothing about the situation and shouldn't be commenting on that.

Not only is this not true, it hurts our message.

By maligning random women we know nothing about we are turning off reasonable people who would otherwise support our cause.
