I love this TED talk. I watched it last year some time when I was going through TED talks to play at an event. I think it really hits the nail on the head.

I do dislike how she needs to have the disclaimer at the beginning that women still have more problems in school, but I suppose that is probably necessary for her to even get on the bill and get people to listen to her (at least that is how I took it).

I was lucky in middle and high school, I was allowed to write about what I wanted for the most part in writing classes. I was mostly interested in writing from my imagination or writing something funny, and I got away with it quite well.

I do find it rather annoying how something like this didn't get even a third of the coverage that the "provocatively titled" "The End of Men" got.

I guess ridding ourselves of mandatory public schooling is out of the question? I guess we'll stick with medicating and abusing them to get the children to submit.

Is this the one that's done by the guy who did an AMA recently? If it is, read his book. It raises some good points, but the guy doesn't really have a grasp on what scientific study actually means, I don't think.

I really want to like this but Ali Carr-Chellman is a noted feminazi and man-hater. I am surprised she is doing a talk about this at all, frankly.
