Makes me wonder about the incidence of postpartum depression in men. Those first years are always critical in a new parent's life, many just aren't chemically or emotionally equipped to handle it, father and mother alike.

For women: it's part of a disorder which needs to be scientifically analyzed, for men: it's seemingly because of their innate violence and lack of capacity to feel love in the family.

Women can stop child abuse. This happened because we live in such an awful child abuse culture that condones this sort of thing.

So, insanity is sad, tragic. What does this have to do with men's rights? Serious mental illness. What are we doing to help mentally ill people?

This has nothing to do with the MRM or Men's Rights. It's an individual doing heinous things. Many individuals do heinous things, women and men alike. This doesn't belong here.

And yeah, I understand the whole "men are painted as the only perpetrators of child abuse", but I don't think more paint is what's necessary. We need to let news stories like these sit in news forums, because simply pointing out the bad apples in the bunch is the same very methodology which was used to create that preexisting image of men in the first place.
