What if there was something only men could accuse women of plausibly and could result in social ostracism and, if convicted, a jail sentence. (Let's say this vague thing is the worst thing a woman could do to a man, absolutely equivalent to the emotional fallout of rape.)

What would feminists say about making it easier for men to convict women of it? Making extra-judicial punishments for it harsher?

College kangaroo courts shouldn't have any say in these cases, they're clearly ill-equipped for handling anything resembling actual justice and jurisprudence. Their only say in the matter if a woman says she was raped is to refer her to the police. Period. End of story. If the guy gets found guilty then of course the school should act, but realistically the bad guy will be in jail anyway so there won't be much to do. If for some reason in the lead-up to the trial the woman doesn't feel safe or whatnot, then she can get a restraining order. The school itself shouldn't be interfering in what should be a legal proceeding working its way through the court system.

What about innocent till proven guilty? If he's wrong he will be expelled anyways if he's not you've damage his life for no reason.

This argument is the "propsterous [sic]" one.

Is it really so hard for people to understand that those "mere allegations" can be made with little repercussions, and therefore people have little discouragement from using them as a very effective weapon?

I fear that they do understand, but don't care as it's a male being shoved under the bus.

I get it, but it's still not fair. I get it because if he really was a rapist, it could take awhile before an actual conviction, but at the same time if he was falsely accused, we would be punishing someone for doing nothing.
