The Center operates five regional office locations, three of which provide emergency shelter, transitional housing and long-term housing options.

Right. Kentucky and Indiana. Since Indiana isn't typically considered part of "the South" I'm just going to check Kentucky.

Okay, so far we've got one organization that provides services to men. Link. Doesn't seem to provide shelters, or any services at all. Appears to be entirely focused on LGBT advocacy. Oh well. Let's see what else we can find.

Nothing, Nothing, and More Nothing.

Conclusion: Was unable to verify the existence of a single shelter servicing male victims of abuse and violence in the state of Kentucky. Thus it is almost certainly not the case that there are more shelters available to men than women.
