Women are the gatekeepers of sex, so it's up to them to restrict access to only those men who they want. Seeing as women have unrestrained sexuality now thanks to the sexual revolution it's painfully obvious just which kinds of men women really are attracted to. There's a reason a small minority of men are getting the majority of sex. It's women's own unrestrained sex drives that's fucking this all up. They want the nice guys, but are attracted to the bad boys, generally speaking.

Society used to shame and punish women who gave out sex like candy to the bad boys, but those restrictions on female sexuality are gone for the most part. Women only have themselves to blame here when they realize down the road that "good guys" don't want them--the women pissed away their sexuality in their teens & 20s with the bad boys, have god knows how many baby daddies, and standup guys don't want any part of that mess.

If women want to be with standup "good guys" and for things to change, then they need to stop fucking the douchebags, players, thugs, drug dealers, etc. It's that simple.

It's pretty bad for guys if you're not in that lucky 20%.

It's pretty bad to be a fat girl, too. The answer is to do something to make yourself more appealing to your target market, not to have society's rules changed so that men are less free to pursue women they find more attractive and have to settle for you right out of the gate. But I suspect that you agree with that, since you're on a mission to help guys learn game ;-)

Also, I'm surrounded by men who aren't thugs who manage to get laid, so I'm a little skeptical of the all-thug 20% theory. Maybe that's true in high school (wan't true for me, but then, I'm an outlier). Among adults, I think that getting laid is not an unreachable dream. But for all I know, every male friend I have is at home furiously studying game and doing endless trial-and-error in bars to connect with the women they eventually bring around me.

Thugs are just one example of the 20%. College jocks, douchebags, frat boys, and a small percentage of guys that hit the social and/or genetic lottery are really what we are talking about, aka alpha males. Beta males are the remaining 80% that don't get female attention until much later in life. Why do you think they call it "getting lucky"?

Game can help turn that around and give "nice guys" a shot at living like the 20%. That's why game is good for women too--it gives them a bigger pool of alphas to select from.

Because men and women tend to select for different things, women losing weight and dressing sexier would both help out your cause on sn individual basis if you are overweight/obese AND be good for guys because it creates a larger pool of attractive women for men to select from an Eco-psych perspective.

It is. Leftists fantasize about taking the law into their own hands. Dexter kills "bad people", which is except for 1 or 2 cases always men, often men who murder or assault women. Often Dexter could turn in those he seeks to murder, but instead waits while his target kills other innocent people, so that he can have the gratification of killing the target himself. He has repeatedly killed innocent victims or let them die, and shows no remorse because he feels he is doing it for the "greater good". He is extremely narcissistic, with a sense of superiority over other human beings. He is extremely manipulative. He is easy for leftists to identify with. At the same time he is a huge white knight, and happily sacrifices for the women he is close to. Yes, Dexter is a leftist's wet dream because your average leftist follower thinks they are unique and superior and know what's best for everyone else: this is why leftists seek to enforce their own views on everyone else through government.

I agree with this, but this is a symptom of an overall media bias rather than the individual show. If Dexter was killing as many women as men, it would not survive as Showtime would be less likely to put it up (due to white knight biases in the viewing population). The Sopranos is geared towards men, but constantly shows much more violence against men. If a woman needs to die, it's done off stage or you only hear the gun shot. No hesitation in zooming in on a guy's face as a bullet goes through it, though.

Nothing to do with left/right mentality. This is a Dexter thing. He follows "the code" and will not kill unless he knows for sure that the target is guilty. Yeah he's not perfect and has fucked up a few times, I admit. Also, he has "urges" to kill due (according to the story) to witnessing his mother's violent death when he was a young kid. Still a serial killer? Yep. He admits he is fucked in the head, but at least tries to target his "addiction" on those who deserve it.

He is easy for leftists to identify with.

I would say anyone with a hidden cowboy urge of black/white justice would identify with Dexter. I can see NRA gun-nuts identifying with him, for example. Small government people can identify with Dexter's belief that the justice system isn't sufficient to combat evil and we need to take it in our own hands, etc.

Not a symptom of leftism. Women are strong and independent so therefore need no protection. That's a perception of the right. I can easily imagine hearing some feminists bitch about how his wife is a stay-at-home mom and how she's always in the kitchen, how there's a mandatory tit shot in just about every episode, etc.

No. Dexter is at heart a coward, as are leftists. He engages his kills in a very cowardly way.

No, that is a perception of almost everyone, but I agree that this particularly note doesn't scream "leftism" as much as some others.

All cop shows cater to the left, who love their police state. But Dexter is unique in that it caters to leftist's solipsism and utter lack of morality. HE decides what he wants to do regardless of what is moral because he is selfish and amoral, just like leftists. Leftists love Dexter because they can identify with him, whereas most cop shows are not so targeted. And that is really what the show is about: identifying with Dexter.

I admit that the show, especially early on, does some things right. It was also nice to see Rita turn from the ideal loving angel to a total fucking cunt once married.

I believe there is something in Dexter's personality that will over time turn away most conservatives. It is probably that he is utterly amoral and routinely fucks up and gets innocent people killed. Leftists can ignore this, while conservatives cannot. Furthermore, leftists are more likely to enjoy Dexter's narcissism and nerdiness, his superiority. Conservatives are very unlikely to identify with Dexter in this way.

I used to like Dexter a lot more when I was somewhat liberal (ignorant), at least until he kept screwing up and should have gotten caught. Now I'm quite conservative and he totally disgusts me.
