I've always said that the only reasons feminists latched onto the 'LGBT group' is to 1) Gain more allies and 2) Support the lesbians. Marc Rudov was once questioned about feminism's support of homosexuals and he said "I've never been called a faggot or a queer more times than I did after I started raising awareness to men's issues". Feminists are a slimey bunch.

Great article and it shows that feminism has been the same all along. It just took some of us a while to see the awful truth.

The leaders of the MRM are eager to court the support of gay men—it's a sound political move—and I approve but this is just not a great argument.

As someone has already pointed out, the quotes mentioned are from decades ago when most people where homophobic. The only reason we don't see similar words from MRA (well, the leaders of the movement anyway, there are plenty of homophobic traditionalists among the ranks) is that it is such a young movement.

Modern feminists are generally less homophobic than the average.
