When almost all divorces are initiated by women and there's really no expectation anymore than a woman is in marriage for life why should a man be expected to raise and support any children he may accidentally father?

An individual should look after their child, as it is in only their interest to do so. To throw away one child and have another is cruel, could cause the child to seek revenge and is a waste of time invested in the child. If the state does it's best to encourage divorce you should consider the state your enemy. Just look for a woman who isn't an idiot or full of anger. (She might not be the woman with the best tits).

Also this thread is a troll thread - we've got a bunch recently asking a horrible question in the hope that even one respondent says something vaguely angry that can be quote mined out of context - for the horror of exploring double-un-good thought.

To be honest I may sound harsh in the next statement but its how I feel .

If a child is born in marriage and is an accident the only way i can see that happening is if the condom is broken or not disposed of correctly , a man should NOT trust a woman when it comes to a claim that she is taking anything to avoid it.

If a child is born and its proven to be yours ( fathers ) then you do whatever it takes to be part of their lives, you are comparing marrying a woman and divorce to fatherhood, in this regard its apples and oranges im afraid .

If you have sex you are risking creating a child, with all the responsibilities and benefits that that entails. (If someone screws you out of the benefits, I don't see how that absolves you of the responsibilities.)

If you don't want to be a father, either get a vasectomy, or don't have sex.

Because a woman shouldn't be stuck in a marriage just because her livelihood depends on it. Also because children come first and they shouldn't have to suffer due to something that's out of their control. That being said, people are now suffering because of things that were out of their control and mainly, because the state gets a cut. It's a lot like red light cameras. Everyone wants to implement them because they're "necessary" and "prevent accidents while promoting safety", until they don't see a penny from those tickets. Then it becomes a burden on the community.
