Told a girl to come on a date with me and she said "if you ask like that you're, no we're not"

This is my second date with this girl, and I said a line that's never failed with me before being "I'm going _ on _ come with me" and have never gotten anything bad in response other then being rejected. She texted back immediately "if you're asking like that, no we're not" I'm thinking about just saying ok , but idk.
