I would rather be raped than be accused of rape unjustly and languish in prison for 27 years. How this man got out of that prison with any sanity I wouldn't even.

Fuck everything about this. There is no evidence that he did either. The only witnesses whose claims were verifiable were the ones who turned out to be wrong.

I am going to be lynched for saying this, but I see no evidence of innocence in this story. I see evidence of misandry (27 years is about ten times too long). I see evidence of sexism and racism. But innocent? Maybe -- maybe not. A writ of actual innocence is a very rare thing, and should occur only when the state acknowledges that it has made a terrible, terrible mistake.

Just think of that man. He was in there with other rapists talking about their escapades. After some point he'd likely regret not raping because at least the rapists got some pussy and possibly even a kid out of it. We're talking 27 years here. That's a fucking long time. If I knew she was going to falsely accuse me and that I would be in for that long, then I'd rape her properly and do my very best to knock her up. I don't want to be in prison for nothing for that long.
