Welsh Government will consult on whether there should be a legal age of consent for piercings, including to ears. Why nothing similar for circumcision?

When getting my labret and brow done like 7/8 years ago in Leeds (still gots them) Some mother was draging her screaming child, about 3 into the place to have her ears pierced. Made my skin crawl.

Is circumcision common in Wales, by the way? I've been under the impression that secular (or at least non-Jewish) practice of circumcision is an American phenomenon, and that Judaism is almost nonexistent in Wales.

Well as it reads they would be aloud piercings just with parental permission. So in terms of circumcision it would be aloud if it has the parents permission so it wouldn't really change anything.
