I have been a mra doing this activism for over 20 years. I married raised a child, got divorced, got custody and worked all those years in a high education profession.

I think you are brilliant and will be a very rich man.

Here's my thinking: Try to be the Ralph Nadar of mens rights. Ralph Nadar single handedly cause the automakers to install seat belts and air bags. He believed in the law as do I. The solution to mrm is to be found in the courts.

Which ever lawyer really sets out to fight this stuff will have lifetime employment and as a ground breaker you will have speaking engagements etc.

Just concentrating on helping men accused falsely or rape is a booming business.

Just do me a favor and don't sell out. A civil rights attorney that sells out is pretty low.

I can't believe that there are people in law school who don't know about feminist jurisprudence. I would suggest you point that out to them. It is truly terrifying that such small minded bigots will be the ones defending male victims.

I suggest you do some research into how the laws actually came into being. I would start with the suffragettes and how they inacted the temperance movement and the tender years doctrine(before this default custody went to men and not women, same with property).

It's going to be difficult, but you have to start somewhere. Persistence is the key - don't let them wear you down or discourage you. Just finding one person to join means your group has grown 100%!

You will run into a couple of things. First, you will run into hateful bitches who feel threatened at the very THOUGHT of men getting consideration (and your accusing good friend is the very definition of a hateful bitch...sorry, it's true), and you have the people who are afraid of said hateful bitches.

Men made the law

Men made the law to appease the majority of voters, who are women, and a vocal minority of voters, who are feminists. The fact that the legislators were male means nothing with respect to the possibility of gender bias in the law.

That statement is just a fallacy used to try to silence you or anyone else who challenges the feminist orthodoxy.

If you read The Legal Subjugation of Men, written by E. Belfort Bax in 1908 when all the legislators were men, you will see that the laws used to be even more strongly biased against men. Women have long benefited from legislative and judicial chivalry.
