When we read a "reverse the genders" scenario what happens is invariably a paradigm is created in which we can immediately say "that would be totally unacceptable if the victim was female" or some such thing.

What this shows is that unconsciously we are all aware of a great range of bias against men, but we have been inured to it by the commonness of the situation. Bringing everyday observations to conscious attention is more powerful than any dubious academic "research".

And therein lies the power of the MRM.

As soon as you start pointing out that affirmative action only seems to work one way and that when men are on the losing side no such action is taken or that for every statistic showing most top jobs are held by men there is one that shows dirty, dangerous and hard jobs are held mainly by men etc. what we all unconsciously know already becomes conscious. There is no way to oppose this since bias against men is the common experience of all of us. Once people become aware of these things, they start noticing the huge range of discrimination which men face.

All feminists can do is fall back on their twisted statistics, revisionist history and cliched rants. Their tired lies and bitter angst are being less and less well received by men and women alike.
