There are so many things wrong with this article that I don't even know where to begin.

The entire article is nothing more than strawman arguments and ad hominem. How does something like this even get published?

This article is so biased that I'm damn near choking on my bile. I'll update this post tomorrow with some of the pieces from the article that stand out to me.

This mild-mannered approach to child custody, a major issue in contested divorces, hides the real agenda of Fathers and Families. What appears at first glance to be an honest plea for fairness is in fact a backlash movement against changing gender-role norms and family structures—cultural shifts that have been influenced by feminist thought and action.

This one stands out to me as just a straight attack. It's got no explanation and does nothing but belittle the point.

The most visible current “enemy” of traditional marriage is same-sex marriage. Strategists have skillfully used existing homophobic attitudes to encourage opposition to any alternative to a heterosexual family structure. In the past, single-parent families with nonnmarital births were the main targets. Female-headed households were seen as incomplete and devoid of a moral compass. Daniel Patrick Moynihan famously promoted this idea in his 1965 government-funded report, The Negro Family, which excoriated African Americans:

There is one unmistakable lesson in American history: a community that allows a large number of young men to grow up in broken families, dominated by women, never acquiring any stable relationship to male authority, never acquiring any set of rational expectations about the future—that community asks for and gets chaos. Crime, violence, unrest, disorder—most particularly the furious, unrestrained lashing out at the whole social structure—that is not only to be expected; it is very near to inevitable. And it is richly deserved.

The second paragraph is used as a means of explanation for the previous paragraph yet they aren't connect at all.

This article really is wrong at such a profound level. This woman is truly a female supremecist.

We just want the right, that any parent should have, to parent our children. We should have that RIGHT. We should not be beholden to mom's for access to our children. This is not only important upon separation but during relationships as well. Mom's are using their obvious power in our "family" courts to extort whatever they see fit out of dads. This has happened to me many times and undoubtedly to tens of millions of other dads across the country.

She mixes up the "christian patriarchy movement" with father's rights which is really irritating. You would think the whole socon/gay marriage/traditional family values thing would be tossed out when Glenn Sacks consistently advocates for gay rights and gay marriage

What a garbage article. The author uses some really faulty reasoning. She kept bringing up conservative groups and using their views to try to paint father's rights as something they are not. Misogynistic language was brought up, but no examples were given.
