Yesterday I had been feeling pressure on and off in my chest all day but didn't think much of it as I'm 22 and what I'd consider to be a fit guy, around 11pm I got up to answer the door..answered it..shut the door and then I collapsed. My girlfriend then came and I was freaking out, if I had collapsed without feeling chest pressure during the day I would probably just try and "man up" but because I had in my daze I yelled at her to call an ambulance ( was still on the floor at this point). So an ambulance came and took me to hospital where they did an ecg/blood pressure test etc and everything was normal but I still wanted to see a doctor because of the chest pressure... queue people looking at me like I'm a hypochondriac including girlfriend and her telling me I'm wasting people's time ( I hadn't seen a doctor in about 10 years) just wondering about other people's experiences and if women feel like this aswell.

Edit : Apologies I wrote this in a complete daze this morning, my girlfriend didn't say "man up" but she was very reluctant to call an ambulance despite me screaming at her that I thought it was my heart and she did pressure me a bit saying I'd be fine and that we shouldn't be here. We left after 6 hours after I still hadn't been seen by a doctor.. I went to my local gp today though who ran a few tests and said that as far as she could tell I was completely healthy but will be going back for a few more tests on Monday.
