The only thing that polarizes 'mainstream gaming communities' are console wars, and everyone secretly knows that it's a joke at this point. Cross platforming and the endurance of PC gaming have turned the gaming community's only real 'polarizing issue' into an inside joke that spans 5 generations of consoles.

I'm a male game developer.

At first the game annoyed me - it's based on a 14 year old girl's understanding of relationships. Then I realized, if I'm allowed to make a game where you're a pimp training yer ho's, then games like this MUST be allowed to exist. Free speech means you get to ignore the stuff you don't agree with.

What came to mind as soon as I saw this is the enormous number of hentai games Japan produces. About 10 years ago, I saw a 'maid trainer' and 'princess trainer' game, where you'd teach them how to do (insert womanlything to do) while also having sex with them on a nightly basis.

I only played the maid one, until I found cheatcodes to get to all of the good bits.
