I had some sympathy till this:

There's more to life than love and babies, you say? I've aged out of my former career, and can't seem to hustle up the interest or motivation to go to school and start another, especially when his child support allows me to live quite comfortably without working. I read, I craft, I volunteer, but none of that fills the void.

I really feel for the woman even though she admits to living off the child support and being a horrible wife while they were married. It's a hard thing when your kids go from worshiping you to wanting to be at their dad and new mom's house all the time. Possibly one of the hardest things you could experience. I think the moral of the story is, however, to pick a woman that wont make you feel unappreciated, and for the women in the audience... to show love and appreciation for your man in all the ways that it matters and he'll have no reason to want anyone else.

Well to play devil's advocate here... Maybe she has put a lot of work into raising the kids yet they didn't give a shit about that and instead choose to appreciate the new lady in town more than their mother. Who wouldn't feel a little down after that.
