In my country, some classes of corporations are required by law to have at least 50% women (or one less, as boards usually consist of an odd number of members). this literally means that more qualified and capable male employees are pushed away in favor of less qualified women, just to fill that quota.

Of course it's discrimination. Using a quota to get less qualified employees on the board is just laughable.

Many, if not all, women, that are on company boards, reject this idea, but if it's not done via German law, EU Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding will make Germany - and every other EU state - introduce a bill on this matter. (Justice...yeah right.)

That's how it's always been with things like this - using the EU to save their asses.

Well, women just want their equal opportunity to game the system like men did 100 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if women started demanding to own slaves--we already encourage them to sexualize and violate our underage sons and daughters with relative impunity (the Bielieber effect).
