I actually respect PZ Meyers, but when it comes to gender issues, he's a fucking small-minded bigot who cherry-picks the worst blog comments he can find and claims they represent the MRM platform (FFS he links to David Futrelle's blog). Here, he is being intellectually dishonest and it's pathetic.

The video was patronizing and used dubious numbers to further a misandrist agenda...any reasonably well-informed man who has some self-respect would take issue with it, yet we're not allowed. Like Daniel Craig, we're supposed to just stand there while our rich, white, female superiors tell us how horrible we are...and if we complain? Well, that just proves that we're horrible.

He loves making strawman arguments and misrepresenting people he disagrees with.

I enjoy how the commercial tries to conflate worldwide statistics for women with what happens in the UK. How women think that not getting as far in their career by having a baby and taking time off equates them somehow with the suffering of women in the third world...

It always surprises me when academics show a level of incompetence, bias and stupidity that even your average joe-six-pack can't equal.

PZ Meyers picks on an anonymous comment, from under a blog post that doesn't even discuss any important men's rights issue, and uses it to mis-characterize an entire movement. Wow! That wouldn't surprise me if it was written by some uneducated bozo, but this guy actually pretends to be intelligent and has a freaking PhD - WTF? How can someone with so little intellectual integrity and such a basic misunderstanding of the scientific method be in academia?? Truly mind boggling..

This loser couldn't survive 5 minutes in the real world, if he wasn't sheltered by his academic "credentials" - I guess the saying has never been more true: "those who can't do, teach.."

That commercial seemed very cherry picked. It fails to mention all the grief that falls primarily on men. And wasn't there just a post about how the pay gap is largely a myth?

So now I'm really confused. Who is in favor of men being allowed to wear dresses?

I posted a negative reaction to men wearing dresses which was not well received.

Conversely, in this instance, MRAs argue against Daniel Craig dressing in drag in support of international women's day.

The community seems to be in favor of traditional masculinity half the time, but favors feminisation and blurring of gender lines the other half. Which is it?

TL;DR Is the MRA community in favor of or against wearing dresses?
