My grandfather when I was 4 taught me abundance on a walk to the park from my childhood home.

My father when I was 11 or 12 told me to be careful with pretty women because they lie, and be careful with ugly women because they know how to make themselves seem prettier than they are.

My mentor at 15 and my other mentor at 18 both told me to put my long term goals ahead of short term ones, and never include women in those goals because I'll get sidetracked.

I wasn't forced to swallow TRP, I just came to it as naturally as possible by the men in my life.

I've always tasted TRP but never fully realized it. This BP world has blinded me gor the most part of my life. Nothing ever made sense, I knew somewhere deep down how it was but could never realize it.

I was very lucky to find TRP when I did though. My 1 year relationship was derailing and my gf cheated on me. I broke up with her, nothing made sense. I was absolutely broken, browsing reddit and someone mentioned TRP in the comments.

After just 5 minutes of reading in the main sub... Everything made sense. My whole life made sense. I understood why everything happened as it did, I saw clearly like having your first pair of glasses. I can honestly say that saved my life.

Was going to spend $200 on a train ticket home to hangout with a girl I hooked up with once. Like a week before, realized how incredibly stupid that was, and cancelled. Took a lot of shit from her for it, hated myself for letting her affect me so much.

Through some Reddit self-improvement thread, discovered No More Mr. Nice Guy. This was all last April. Decided over the summer I would start working on myself. Discovered Return of Kings through, of all places, the Art of Manliness, and from there found the subreddit.

It's funny. I remember reading on RoK an article mentioning the sub and being almost afraid at first, like first time watching porn fear, of what would happen if I got caught. What would people think? But what I was reading made too much sense not to. Helped that I was raised in a conservative home, so being non-PC was something I was already used to.

Nothing good has come out of my previous beta ways. I lived with my ex wife, her mom and brother for 10 years because I agreed to buy a house I didn't wanna live in with a mother in law I didn't like. All because it was in their best interest. I let her mother grind me down to become even more beta than I was. My marriage died.

After my marriage I met a girl with a much higher smv than mine. We clicked extremely well and of course I got a hard case of oneitis. Googling how to get over her I found RP.

There was no disgust, no rage - nothing except endless revelations. I had found the key to everything I thought I could never have. I continually reap new benefits. I have never felt so much as a man and I've hardly begun.

I had a tough time swallowing this pill.

Then it all made sense. I started noticing women's behavior towards alpha guys and beta guys. I never really labeled guys before, but after reading through here its obvious.its pretty easy to spot an alpha, just talk to him for 5 minutes. Then I realized people wouldn't think that I'm an alpha after talking to me for 5 minutes. After seeing that I've always preferred to hang out with or work with guys I perceived as alpha, I realized women think the exact same way except for sex/relationships.

Then I recalled one time in high school. The girl I lost my virginity to. My mom was out of town so I invited her over and I thought we were gonna have a whole night of mind blowing sex. She didn't really feel up to it. We were in bed watching TV and I went in to kiss her and feel her up. She kept rejecting it.

Then I said "I like kissing you. If you don't want to kiss me, then I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with you." She had recently caught me texting another girl. It was just for a school assignment and I had no intentions of pursuing her. But the threat was there.

We sat there silently for like a minute. Then she just hopped on top of me and started to very passionately make out with me. She ripped off my pants and we had sex three times that night.

At the time I thought I got lucky. Looking back on it, I realized that I instilled dread into her when I half threatened to leave her and that I potentially had another girl lined up. She was afraid she was gonna lose me, so she gave me the only thing valuable about her - her pussy.

Now, I've had a lot of trouble fully adopting a RP lifestyle mainly due to my depression and alcoholism. But that night in particular makes me a believer.

A lot of guys are just fed up with the be a nice guy and be yourself and you'll find the one. Thats just not the way it works. The world tries to make a big deal of accepting people as they are but people need to change. Being yourself, following your dreams, treat a girl like a queen all that stuff is bullshit. I like the redpill because there's not a lot of groups of guys that are just fed up with being told women should be put on pedestals. Same with feminism is bullshit it served its purpose now it's just white knights and cunts. Although there's a lot of anger phase guys here which totally miss the point. Like a guy last night posted that he doesn't care when women are killed. These guys are missing the idea of trp entirely but if they keep up with it they'll learn that the red pill is just about seeing the world for what it is, the sexual strategy aspects of it, and bettering yourself.

Was in love with my best friend for a very long time. We would hang out and talk nearly everyday. Yet, she was still dating other guys. So she had finally broken up with someone and in my head I thought "yes this is my chance." A week later she's already hitting off with someone else. Realized I needed to stop being such a push over and take matters into my own hands. Discovered RSD (real social dynamics) and eventually TRP. Everything begin to click. My entire middle school/high school dating life was explained in the blink of an eye. Even if the perspective can be a bit extreme at times, it's all based on logic and is extremely practical in real life.

I had more success with women I was intentionally mean to because they pissed me off.

When I would ask women want they wanted in men it was all very diluted and lacked syntax.

I had an LTR for about 2 years when I was 19 I noticed the less mean to her I was the more mean to me she was. So when I upped my level of mean she became so sweet.

The last straw was when I thought I found the perfect catch, she was very sweet and appreciated my being nice for fucking once (I thought) she became more and more distant as the relationship progressed. She left me in a very weak time. I didn't understand I thought you're supposed to fight together during the hard times blah blah.

I swear to fuckin' god the issue was I wasn't being manly but she didn't have the heart to tell her boyfriend that.
