Good article. It should be noted that some prominent feminists have spoken out strongly against the persecution of Julian Assange.

The new generation of feminists are so ambitious for power, they are throwing older feminists under the bus.

Sady Doyle and Jaquelin Friedman are the extreme neo-feminists who belief in the woman's absolute power to condemn her male sex partner at any time based on her word alone.

Naomi Wolf and Bianca Jagger are mature and decent feminists and have made a reasonable defense of men's civil liberties, not to be tried by the media or presumed guilty.

I really don't like assange, but it was my understanding that neither of the women were interested in charges, but rather an std test because they found out he was a man whore. This story has taken its context and blown it out window several times...get mad at Sweden, not the women

In Swedish: http://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/article8313094.ab The last sentence: "Den yngre kvinnan säger att hon vaknade under ett samlag med Assange. När hon frågade om han använde kondom sade han nej. " Translated: "The younger woman says that she woke up during intercourse with Assange. When she asked if he used a condom he said no."

It's my understanding that the sex he had with both women was under the condition that he used a condom. Feminists or not; if that sentence is true, he's a rapist. It's up to a court to decide that though.

I admit, I really don't like Assange but I do agree with him on feminism.
