Extremist feminism is one of the most subversive and damaging tools in the modern person's repertoire. Assange is a far higher-profile example than the Duke Lacrosse team of how attacks can be launched at someone against which there is little defense.

Assange represents the power of freedom, and feminism to this degree IS justly called "feminazism," because it is one of the biggest threats to freedom we have, if anyone who fights the good fight can be attacked in such a fashion.

I hate to see this happen to any man, but I am glad it is happening to someone famous. Selfishly, I hope that the issue of men's rights will be much more broadly publicized by these accusations and their resolution.

I don't know what happened between these people, because I wasn't there. What I hope is concluded is that there was some sort of exchange, and it went well or didn't go well, and at some point the woman or women decided to lodge rape charges.

I hope to see Assange completely exonerated, not because I think all men are innocent, but only to advance the cause. It would illustrate very broadly the disastrous effects a false rape accusation can have, as well as the ease with which one can be lodged.
