A courts ruling doesn't make it just. Courts are tools of politics, and are over turned based on the popular vote at the time. If being gay was before the supreme court in the 1950's, it wouldnt have passed. It wasnt until 2003 that a 6 to 3 vote legalized it. 3 Judges still voted against it. Those same 3 judges could have sat together on an appellate court...

Legal doesn't make it right. Our legal system is broken and corrupt, but we pretend that its there to protect us.

Reminds me how 1 Judge in California appointed by Bush has upheld torture and harsh prison sentences, the perfect example of personal motives over the rights of citizens.

Don't go to the bars that do that, if it really bothers you. Apparently it's profitable for them, otherwise they wouldn't do it, the government should have no say in this.

I don't understand the problem... If you're a guy out looking to pick up a girl, her drinks will cost you half what they normally would that night. If you're a guy not on the prowl, go to a different bar, or just live with paying the same old price you would any other night. It's not like drinks get any more expensive for men on ladies night. Just go with a female friend and have her buy you drinks if it irks you that much
