I have a zero hitting policy and am a pacifist. So I wouldn't hit a female. BUT that doesn't mean I won't restrain someone. I would generally grapple with a female until she is restrained. But I wouldn't actually hit.

Aikido teaches you to deflect and counter. If some crazy bitch threw a punch at me, I'd grab her into a lock that didn't impose any great pain (but leaves her with the choice to give herself more pain should she wish) and then calmly say "have you had enough?" When she says yes, don't just simply release her, but give her a light shove forward so that you can get some distance.

Slaps? Well, when you're in an argument with a female that's always a card they can play due to double standards. Keep her hands in the corner of your eye but try not to break eye contact. No need to grab into a lock or anything, but just block it by grabbing her wrist as she goes for it (and watch your balls for an incoming falcon knee). Just push the wrist away and say "violence never solved anything"

Oh, I knew that seemed like something I'd have read in the men's rights subreddit and was confused when I saw that it was in reddit.com. I was even tailoring the conclusion of my post for this subreddit.

I know I'm probably going to be downvoted for this, since it's the men's rights subreddit. However, to me, "men's rights" does not mean that the woman is always wrong.

After reading this thread I made this response. He brags about how he's vastly more powerful than her, and acts like the victim to justify his inappropriate aggression towards her. I don't care what genders are involved, there's no justification for violence towards someone who poses no threat whatsoever in any circumstance.

This bullshit is just as bad as the dreaded false rape accusation, if only because justifying this kind of behavior is fucking sadistic, and this just sounds like the beginning of an actual rape scenario.

Equality does not mean being able to trade punches at full force. Equality depends on the ability for the very clearly advantaged party (in this case, the male) to recognize the imbalance and accommodate to it. The original poster did exactly the opposite.

I have refrained from responding within that thread, as per your suggestion.

The naive people there seem to think that calling the police will result in a fair adjudication in a case of a woman battering a man.

And then there's the anecdote about the fireman who is so tough that he can take any punch that a woman can dish out...luckily, they never think to use knives or guns.

I guess we'll see whether the "White Knights" or "Equal Fights" people dominate that conversation.

you shouldn't hang out with women like that or be in situations with people who behave in this way. There are such a thing as "scenes" or maybe it would be better described as particular culture and social levels. Don't hang out in the ones with drunken, violent, belligerent people.

I read that yesterday. Guy's an idiot. It sounds like he laughed at her, mocked her, and then shoved her against the wall by her neck.

I have a hard time feeling bad for someone like that.
