Basically, I've been working on improving myself for quite a while now, but side by side, I was also socializing, hanging out with friends and meeting girls. But I always felt like I was being excluded or being left out of all the fun events and parties unless I made huge efforts to be included, and even then, I always felt like nobody really cared and it'd make no difference to anybody if I wasn't there. Basically, this article.

Now, I do have 3-4 close friends who don't do that shit and are actually real friends but I don't know why I'm not being included in the larger 'popular' circles. I've also been going through the same cycle with lots of girls where we'd meet, go out a couple times, make out, everything, but then out of nowhere they'd start giving obvious false excuses about why they weren't free or just straight up ignore me.

I feel like this is because I haven't improved myself yet to the level where everyone really would want to hang out with me and enjoy my company. I'm thinking of going monk mode for at least 6 months and completely focus on self-improvement (working out/college/etc.) while also cutting these people off completely because it seems they don't like me anyway and also forgetting about girls for a while. Thoughts?
